no, not that tab up at the top of the Forest.

I went on a day trip with my dad and uncle yesterday out to a place their mom painted back in the 60s.

i mean, the painting is on the living room wall where i'm sitting now. it's an autumnal landscape of a CCC era bridge. we went TO the bridge because since about 1970 the land has been closed to the public and for some reason it was open yesterday for a fee of $10 per person.

Anyway, I saw two hawks dancing in the sky, and later when we went to grandma's house, I saw a redbird as red as a crayon and then two fat mourning doves who didn't even care about my presence. I had walked a way up the hill behind her house & was secluded amongst the mesquite and wild mustang vines, but they saw me.

this morning i am watching birds skitter around the lake as a storm approaches. a formation of ducks just flew low over the water, an arrow pointing directly into the wind.  mockingbirds and chickadees are busy battening down the hatches as the morning sky darkens. there's no sign of the heron or the egret that usually roost in the cattails right behind the house, but there are larger colonies of both birds about a mile from here. perhaps they seek safety in numbers. as i typed, a falcon passed close by the window.

so Im new at this place, I thought it look very interesting and it seems you guys have fun talking about the stuff you all like.

Mostly Im a lurker, I love to read FF and I follow my fav authors on twitter cause I like to keep up to date with things on the fandom even if Im not an active participant,  but one day I got all sad cause I saw all you people discussing things that you all have in common and that got me thinking that I don't have someone to talk to about the stuff I like, my RL friends are not into Twilight like I am, much less FF! and don't even get me started with Robsten!  So I got brave and decided to join this community..  I hope you guys don't mind my random thoughts and opinions, I won't be a bother. Promise

Hey! Im new! Im late to the whole Fan Fiction scene it would seem. Ive only been reading for a few months.

Im looking for recomendations. Anything you would suggest a new Fan Fiction reader read. I do have some musts it has to be E/B. I like drama, but not complete heart fail. Romance doesnt seem to keep my interest. Smut (because lets be honest thats what I went looking for in the first place.) So thanks for any recs.

I started a blog recently called RuedeMoi and I'm looking for any and all commentary and advice.  If you would please take a moment and check it out (the name is a link) and let me know not only what you think but also what you may not like about it.  

I'm also wondering if any of you read any other blogs and what they are.  What makes you keep going back to them?  Do any of you have your own blogs, and if you do what do you do to drive readers to your site?

I'm trying to be more of lifestyle blog than a fashion blog, hoping to draw in a wider audience, but I may be reaching too far but don't really know so if you have any bit of time, your thoughts are sincerely appreciated.

Oh happy Friday everybody!

I am just sitting here on my balcony enjoying the California sunshine and a pineapple vodka mint cocktail. I feel like having some fun, so I thought I'd ask for everyone to post their favorite word, phrase, or image that seems dirty, but actually isn't.

One of my friends died today.

She commited suicide.

I was at school when I found out. I'm still at school, as a matter of fact.

I didn't even know who it was until I saw her picture that the teacher printed out.

I lost it. Like, literally. Bawling, snot, the works.

Anybody else ever lost someone to the tragedy of suicide?
