Hey I was wondering if anyone could help me out. I used to write stuff on fanfiction, but during my exams I pulled all my fics off to do a load of work on them/ rewrite a few chapters. Halfway through this my computer crashed and all my word documents were lost, including my fics. I wondered if anyone had a copy of I Would Die For You by JasperRocksMYCottonSocks?? (my name was something like that, I gave up on remembering it when trying to log back in ages ago. Any help would be appreciated!! :) Thanks!

I LOVE this! Even had to change the Booth shooting a clown avi to a Firefly one in honor of it.

I kinda love Woldorf and Statler as the "Hands of Blue" even though Jayne is my fav character.

Hey! I'm from Orlando, Florida and I have always dreamed about going to school in the UK. Now, that I'm going into my senior year I'm having to take a harder look at the schools and their entry requirements. I like the system there better (more specialized and independent) but I was wondering if anyone from or familiar with UK schools could give me some advice on which schools are worth applying to. I'm a good student (3.85 GPA in honors and AP classes) but not the best test taker (although I hear that's all they look at). So far, I've been looking at University of Edinburgh, Durham University, and University of York. 

I am looking at University of Vermont, University of Connecticut, and Boston University in America, if anyone knows of the UK equivalents that would be great. 

Also, i've been doing alot of research but its hard to get a guide or general information to the UK system here in America. If anyone has any MUST KNOW information or advice to going to school in Britain that would be much appreciated.

I know, I know.

There has been alot of CF's on the subject of kindle's and e-readers, But...

my query doesn't quite fall into any of the previous questions (I don't think?!?)

 So here it is.

I am finally going to bite the bullet and get a kindle.

Reason being, I need a more portable way to read FFn (as my laptop is a 15"screen), also I have a load of Kindle books on my laptop, hence why I am going for a Kindle opposed with any other e-reader. (but if you do have a better suggestions, I am all ears, Just bare (sp?) in mind that I'm in England!).

Ok, so down to my actual query after the tedious pre-amble I'm sure.

Should I go for an original Kindle or the Kindle 3G?

What is the main difference? benefit? of the 3G?

ETA: also what can I/can't I do on the Kindle?

Does anyone here use a diaphragm for birth control? I've been on the Pill for 12 years, and I really want to get off of it...the diaphragm seems like the best option, but it's also kind of scary! Does it really work?! How do you....erm, get it in??

So, we all know just how generous the Twilight fandom can be. I'm here to plug a special cause.

3 friends of mine from university are doing a sponsered run for the UK charity Kids - which works with disabled children, young people and their families. KIDS works with any disabled child or young person (from 0-25), irrespective of their impairment or condition, helping them to grow, develop and enjoy their childhood, whilst supporting their families to enable this to happen. Sadly the charity has had its funding cut, and may struggle to support these young people and their families in the future.

Essentially what my friends are doing is running around every Football League stadium in London in 1 day - this will take approximately 15 hours, including the time spent travelling by tube to each location.

OK...since it's Friday Free-For-All, I'm asking for help making a decision on something, a little odd, but whatever, lol...

My BFF's getting married on the 17th.  I have a cute black strapless cocktail dress to wear for it (I'm her witness/only attendant, she told me to pick a black dress I liked).  I had to get it taken in to fit me and I got it back today, stupid thing is still just a tiny bit too big.  I can take it back to the lady, however she works really inconvenient hours and due to some flooding in our location, she's got hours that are even more odd.  Plus, she's quite busy.

Do I bother taking the dress back to her to have it taken in less than 1/4 of an inch, or would trying to stick it to my bra with lingerie tape work?

The other night I dreamt that I reached into my own mouth (of my own volition, mind you) and pulled out one molar on each side of my lower jaw with each hand simultaneously.  Of course I woke up in the middle of the night FREAKED THE (bleep!) OUT.  I actually reached into my mouth to make sure they were still there. 

I am still kinda shaken up by it.  I almost never remember dreams; I can only remember 8 in my whole life, including this one.  And here's the kicker - I have *NO IDEA* what this means!  I haven't been to my dentist lately, nor am I scared of dentists (I actually enjoy the dentist).  Any suggestions?
