I want to know your thoughts, if you're still curious enough to read, like I am. Because, honestly? You know the saying, curiosity kills the cat? Yeah, well, mine's killed the cat a thousand times over. So if you've read the update, what'd you think about it? Bella's reaction when Edward told her? Edward reporting the incident to Esme, but not the fact that he was hit? If, in fact, I probably am the only one here that's still reading, and no one cares anymore, then this campfire will just... die. Slowly. Slowly. Slooooooowly . . .

I'll put my thoughts inside. Though, to be quite honest, it's really not a whole lot.

When I was reading all of the great recommendations in the recent campfire, I thought "I hope they are on the Master Fic List." So, my thought was to post a campfire reminding those that recommend things, to check it and make sure it's on there and if it's not, to put it on there. I know I use the MFL a lot and I'm sure others do too.

So I'm going on a bit of a road trip with some friends next week and I am in desperate need of new music to listen to! 19 hours in a car... I'll go crazy without some good music! I've listened to everything on my ipod sooooo many times that I've pretty much become sick of it all. I'm also sick of almost everything and anything you hear on the radio! I love music but at the same time I'm starting to hate it! I need stuff that will renew my faith in music.

What I'm looking for is stuff you probably won't hear on the radio, I mostly like rock/punk music, however I also like alot of other stuff too. My musical tastes are wide and varied, however I am also picky about what I hear, I like music with meaning! I'm tired of hearing all the sad love songs and brake up songs, orignal music about orignal things is what I crave!

So what are your suggestions? If you don't have a praticular song or artist do you know of a place (online) where can I look for new unheard of music, I guess it's what is possibly referred to as "the underground music scene" (I kinda feel lame saying that lol).

Whatever you have to offer I'm willing to listen (with the exception of country music... It's one of the few genres I can't stand :-s) !

Hi...

this is my first campfire ever...I'm looking for a fic that I've read a long time ago...I was sure it was in my favourite list but I can't find it and I can't remember the title...

In this story Edward and Bella are married...They met in high school, Edward is friend with jake and james which are kind of assholes. Edward is very rich and always afraid that girls are after him for his money...when he meets Bella it's love, but james hate her and find a trick to mess with her pill and she falls pregnant...Edward think Bella is trying to make Edward marry her so he leaves her and she lose the baby....

Any idea? I really want to re-read it...so if it rings any bells please help me :)

If you haven't read this story yet, what are you waiting for, it's amazing, and insanely (ha literally) engrossing. The brilliance is in the way it's told, the mystery of it all.

Summary: They were so different. Different goals, different friends, different worlds. Maybe even different gods...if he even believed in God. She didn't know. The fic I'm looking for:

Edward was a piano prodigy, but, grew tired of the fame and felt that he was mismanaged. He is now a composer and lives in a cabin alone in the woods. I think he is lacking inspiration for his new pieces. Bella is a university student on a class trip in the woods and she gets lost. She comes across Edward's cabin and he takes her in. Bella is a fan of his music and realizes who he is. Edward is wary of Bella and isn't exactly friendly. Bella feels like an inconvenience, though as much as she feels she should go, she wants to stay. At some point there is a storm, and Edward uses a radio to contact police/rangers to let them know of Bella's whereabouts (I think). Edward may also own a dog. I'm not sure if this story was ever finished.

Recently I have begun a love affair with the idea of Sam/Bella lovin'. I've been reading Holding Sam by MeraNaamJoker (@in_purdah, on Twitter) and I am in love. I am a huge fan of the non-canon, so I honestly can't say enough about this fic and I would love to see my fellow non-canon fans try it out!

I have to ask the question, though: In Bella/Vamp fics, the ultimate goal is *eternity*, so what happens in Wolf/Bella fics if eternity is not an option?

If no one has tried reading Holding Sam, I dare you to try it. It is so wonderful...

This year marks the 34th consecutive year that the 3 day novel contest has been held. My mom and I saw the poster earlier this summer and were both considered entering. Due to work and travel conflicts, neither of us put our names in but I was wondering if you, wonderful campers, happened to be participating or if you have ever done anything like this? 

If so, What kind of test was it as a writer? Were you satisfied with what you wrote?

If not, Would you consider trying something like this in the future? What would be your personal goal within the time frame?
