I'm sure a lot of people know (I hope this campfire hasn't been done!) but Britain lost a great actress this week.

Doctor Who star Elisabeth Sladen, who was also in spin-off series The Sarah Jane Adventures, has died aged 63.

Sladen appeared as Doctor Who assistant Sarah Jane Smith in the BBC television sci-fi series between 1973 and 1976, opposite Jon Pertwee and Tom Baker.

The Liverpool-born actress appeared in four series from 2007 of The Sarah Jane Adventures on children's channel CBBC.

Sladen had been battling cancer for some time and leaves actor husband Brian Miller and daughter Sadie.

Well its Good Friday eve here in Oz and we as a nation have 5 days in a row off for all workers.

I plan on doing lots of eating and drinking and relaxing in the next 5 days. (We go back to work on Wednesday!)

I saw the other day someone made a campfire for Elysian Fields and a lot of people came in and said such nice things and now I feel even wrose because I could have dropped by and said thanks, but I was too busy being a self-conscious idiot.

So I was just in the stereotype campfire and we were talking about all the different accents there are out there.  There are so many different ones within small areas and I thought it'd be fun to share our accents with each other!  Also recently I saw a list running around out there with different words to say and questions to answer to reveal your accent or dialect or whatever.  So... let's vocaroo!!!

Kristen finished her stunt work on Breaking Dawn in Vancouver and left Canada this morning, remains classy and better than others while doing so.

This concludes filming in Vancouver for her.

She has some aditional honeymoon scenes to film with Rob, which according to Lainey and others will happen in Virgin Islands (appropriate name is appropriate), St. Thomas (some say that in the next days & Easter weekend)

Here she is @ YVR at 5AM this morning...gorgeous...still wearing a thumb guard as we could already see on Sunday after the WFE premiere...her injury must have been more serious than they said it was...

I was walking through town today when i overheard an American behind me say

"I lived in Cambridge, England for a while. It wasnt great, they seem to think all Americans are stuck up over there."

Now, i was born in England but my dad is Irish (where I am now) so i hear A LOT of stereotypes, about the English over here, and when im in England, about the Irish.

I cant say i know anyone who thinks Americans are stuck up tho. Do you guys think we think that?

To make this interactive, TELL ME WHERE YOU'RE FROM and which stereotypes about there are TRUE? For example, i LOVE a cup of tea at the end of the day, and I am obsessed with football (soccer!).

And which ANNOY you? The part of England i am from (Liverpool) is known as being where thieves come from, and no matter where I go, someone will make a comment about it! (Im not a thief, im not annoyed cos people have sussed me out ;) )

And which stereotypes about other places do you hope are true? I imagine that all Americans go to diners every day and eat nice breakfasts (waffles, pancakes etc... we only have cereal or toast usually!). I imagine Australians are really laid back and spend most of their lives on the beach :) This is the life i want for you guys, even if it's not true ;)

There was a campfire about this a while back, but in case people missed it, the fandom is currently trying to raise money to help the victims of Japan's March 11 devastating earthquake/tsunami. Last time I checked, 289 authors signed up to write one shots for the cause. To read their stories, people can donate money to the Red Cross and 100% of the proceeds go to the tsunami victims. (The American Red Cross requires a minimum donation of $10; other countries may differ.) Hi fellow campers! I'm sort of still new around these woods, and I've never done this before(I'm not even sure if this is allowed)...so bare with me.

Ok so I've been part of this fandom for a couple years now ever since watching the first movie, and I have never had a dream of Robert Pattinson or anything Twilight related. I don't know why it has never occured since I'm pretty obsessed to the point that it's unhealthy in love with the series and Mr. Pretty himself. That was until last night!

Have any of you had dream(s) starring Rob or any of the other actors themselves? Anything to do with Twilight? Fantasies...nightmares???

Wolvesnvamps and I were discussing our mutual loveomgobsession of Bratty Vamps fic In Vain.

Something interesting happened in the conversation:

"when there is vamp, you can make allowances that you wouldn't for humans."

Campers...do you make allowances for vamps that you wouldn't for humans? (obviously, the bloodletting thing, but i mean more in how they treat women. Bella)

Does this explain the phenomenon of Domwards and Darkwards in fic? Because it just stems from the vampire we all originally fell for?

On the other side of the coin (kinda) many people had issue with Original Gangsta Edward because of his possessive nature.

Is it ok if he's a vampire? Can he be expected to live up to human male standards? Is it easier (dare i say hot?) to accept this behavior if it is coming from a vampire?

can i ask any more questions?

Willow Shields has joined the Lionsgate adaptation of the Suzanne Collins novels.

Newcomer Willow Shields (In Plain Sight) has landed the role, nicknamed Prim in the books, the studio announced Wednesday. The actress joins Jennifer Lawrence as Katniss, Josh Hutcherson as Peeta and Liam Hemsworth as Gale.

Prim plays a pivotal role in the first book of Suzanne Collins' Hunger Games trilogy that leads to Katniss’ harrowing ways.
In addition, four tributes have been cast: Jack Quaid and Leven Rambin will play District 1’s Marvel and Glimmer, and Dayo Okeniyi and Amandla Stenberg will portray District 11’s Thresh and Rue.

Elizabeth Banks is also in talks to join the Gary Ross-directed project as Katniss’ handler Effie Trinket.
Hunger Games will be produced by Nina Jacobson and Color Force. It will be released on the big screen March 23, 2012.
