Hey Campers,

I need your help. The timeline for my story is organized, but it's missing one thing - birthdays. We all know when Edward and Bella were born, but what about the rest? When were Rosalie, Emmett, Jasper, Alice, Carlisle and Esme born? I checked Twilight Wiki, but I couldn't find anything. If the dates weren't ever specified in the books, which days are most frequently used in stories? Should I use my imagination and create my own? My story is AH, so the year doesn't matter.

Hey There, You guys helped me find a story once before and hoping you can help again.

I fell asleep reading and my computer did an auto update which shut down what I was reading.  Long story short I lost the one I was reading.  Hope someone recognizes the story and can tell me the name of the story or the author.

Bella works at the nurse center where the doctors come looking for charts & such. He always tells her what a beautiful ass she has as he approaches her work station. He has transferred there to the hospital I think it's Seattle but it could have been Tacoma, anyway from California, LA I believe.  All the girls as the hosptial are swooning and trying to get his attention(as usual). Because she has access to the hospital's paperwork she knows it has him listed as married.  Bella walks in on him and Jessica in the janitors closet and thinks he's an ass for 'cheating' on his wife. Problem is she's kind of drawn to him and she has to berate herself for crushing on a "married" doctor. Asking herself what is wrong with me, he's married. So she tries to avoid him.  Jump a chapter or two and he has just rented a Aston Martin Vanquish for the weekend because Finn is coming to visit and it is red just like the one they saw at the car show and he wanted to surprise Finn with the car cuz he knew he loved it.  He is waiting in the terminal for Finn to arrive.  He sees him approaching pulling his suitcase on rollers behind him. As soon as Finn sees his 'dad' he drops the suitcase and runs to his dad and Edward scoops him up in a huge hug.  Tanya is walking towards them with Irina not happy about having to fly with Finn for him to visit Edward.  Tanya and Edward are now divorced for a couple of days and she is about to marry Aro. Aro is trying to take Edwards place and Finn is unhappy about it. He spends the w/e with his dad and cries cuz he does not want to leave his dad. Edward promises he will try to make it where they can see each other more often.  Later in the week he talks to Tanya & she agrees to every other weekend but the week end he's suppose to come Tanya renigs.  In the mean time, Em and Bella became good friends when she first started working there over a year ago and he asks Bella to lunch to celebrate her birthday and Em invites Ed along much to Bella's chagrin...

That is just the Reader's Digest of the first 4 or 5 chapters.  Does ANYONE know the name of the story or the author?  If you do please PM me. MY penname on all sites is KimiD  Thanks in advance for any help!

Every time I hear the live version of  "Someone like you" by Adele, I imagine an angst filled Bella/Edward story (with a HEA, of course!). Hopefully, one of you talented writers in ADF will be inspired to write one, or will you? My question is:

Has a song text, singer, band, or music video ever inspired a whole story outline, or is music more an inspiration for the mood in a story?

I had an idea of casting movie stars from Hollywood's Golden Age in Twilight parts. I picture:

Bella - ? can't come up with anyone

Hi! I just wanted to ask if anyone has a copy of Emancipation Proclamation by Kharizzmatik? It's one of my favorite stories but the author pulled it out. I really loved it and I can't imagine not being able to come back and read it over and over.

Please? Anyone? :)

How important are the first couple of chapters to you when you start reading a story? Do you give up easily if you don't like them, or do you skim through to see if it gets more interesting? Any stories that captivated you from the first couple of chapters all through the end?

My favorite first chapter is from Ultio, because of my sick obsession with Edwardian angst. In fact it'd made such a strong impression on me I kept on skimming through the story, even though it followed a completely different path (horror) compared to what I'd expected/hoped for.

Honorable mention NOT AN UPDATE, PEOPLE:

Has anybody else been watching the 90's block of television on TeenNick? Last night I finally stayed up late enough to watch Clarissa Explains it all! But, before that came on I watched All That and Keenan and Kel. I went to bed before Doug though. Do you have fond memories of these shows? Are you glad TeenNick brought them back? Do you have other 90's favorites that you wish they would air?

 Looking for a copy of  " In fear and Faith" By Strae. It wasn't complete. It was like 33 chapter in.

Tell me, how many of you have been in a wedding, whether as the bride or bridesmaids?

 

I ask because my sister has finally decided to get married.  I love the dress she picked for herself, but hate the one she picked for the rest of us.  Normally, it wouldn't be a problem if I was just entering my 20's and my chest didn't come with it's own zip code.

My other sister has no problem with the dress, but she is the type that is comfortable flashing her boobs, I'm not. I'm am the biggest sister right now and would not, I repeat, would not look good in the dress.  It doesn't help that my annoying uncle stuck his nose into it and wormed his way into the wedding party as well.  Of course, she'd listen to him...grrr...

 

 

Any advice??

I know I need to lose weight...and be proud, I lost 20 pounds!!! (of course, i have also been sick).  I just don't want to have a moment where I look back and cry at how horrible I looked, as my mom often does when she see herself in pictures....

I am suffering from Jamie Fraser withdrawal.  I finished book 7 of the Outlander series a couple of months ago and am a sad bunny.  The next book in the series won't be released for at least one more, probably two more, years.  "The Scottish Prisoner" (a new installment in another series by Diana Gabaldon, a spin-off of the original story) is being released in November, but I'm not sure that reading about a gay Englishman lusting after Jamie Fraser will make me as happy as reading about the ongoing Jamie/Claire love story and the story of their family.  In fact, I'm sure it won't.  But who am I kidding?  I will completely cave in and buy the book which, no doubt, is why Gabaldon wrote this particular Lord John book as being 1/2 Jamie's story to begin with. 

So have you read the Outlander series and, if not, WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?  Does the "paranormal" aspect of these stories (i.e. the time travel aspect) qualify it for discussion on non-FFA days in the forest, similar to HP, Vampire Diaries, etc?  (I'm thinking no, but am like a 5-year old and must test the limits).  Have you ever gotten your hands on a man in a kilt?  Would it have killed SM to include a Scottish vampire in a kilt in the Twilight series?? 

 

ETA:  If you haven't already read the series, or at least not all of it, be warned that there are major SPOILERS ahead.

I've posted a new story - my first in the Twilight fandom - and would love it if you could waste a few minutes and check it out. Five chapters are currently up, with more in the works to be posted in the next several days. I'm planning on updating at least once a week until the story is finished (it won't be a long one).
