I was thinking about it and I realized how much of my daily life is affected by twilight. I check ADF a few times a day, check FF.net and twilighted for updates and new stories, and I look on fan pages for fun gifs or pictures. I probably spend a lot more time then I should on the Twilight Saga and the fandom around it.

If there was no Twilight I would probably more focused on school as silly as that may sound. Twilight got me into reading more and reading fanfiction so when I spend my time reading new updates I could be studying for my Western Civilization midterm.

So what would you be doing if there never was Twilight? Would you be in love with another series as much as this one? Maybe have a different job? Be a different major in college? Let me know!

Good Morning Campers!

Let me start by saying that I am getting older (37, I know it's all relative, I don't feel 37), the tv's in my house are perpetually turned to Nickelodeon or Sports Center and, I, like many here, am usually glued to my laptop or Kindle. I live a sheltered existence.  Therefore, I am hugely dependent on you folks here in the Forest to inform me of things I am missing out on.  For example, Halawia's exuberant love of the Misfits opened my eyes to that fun.  And, I recently came across the excellence that is The Black Dagger Brotherhood.  I am only on book 2, but I am already so enthralled by these characters!  With that I say: Please!  I need to know these things! Help keep me informed people!

What else am I missing out on? I want to hear about your favorite book series, movies, shows that are mainstream or even your secret vices.

Hello Campers! Hope everyone's Monday isn't mistreating them too badly :)

In a twitter ...conversation? Whatever...tweeting some other people in the forest, we started bitching about being blessed with being very voluptious in the breast area and not so much in other areas.  For example, I am currently a 36 DD.  At my smallest (which I'm hoping to get to again in the next few months), I was a 34D because they don't make what I really was, which was a 32DD.  I know a couple others have this issue, and possibly worse because I'm sure finding bras and swim tops and the like for a 36F is like finding a needle in a haystack.  Not to mention, everything that big tends to look like a grandmother would wear it and also costs $1000 or so in comparison to those with not so much endowment... lucky bitches. 

What I want to know is how many more of you have this wonderful challenge?  Is there anything you recommend for those of us who haven't quite found that niche of attractive yet doesn't break the bank but is still supportive? Does that even exist? Apparently finding swim tops is a hell of a good time too, so if anyone has any suggestions in that area too, they'd be greatly appreciated!

God knows I need a better sports bra, but damn if the ones that hold them where they're supposed to be aren't expensive as hell and come in a specific size, which at the rate I'm going would be a new one every 3 months....ugh.  (Champion needs to step their game up, as far as I'm concerned!)

I am looking a fic that might have possibly been pulled from here, fanfiction.net and everywhere else! I can't remember how old it is though....

So Bella has a son but Renee and Charlie or just one of then tries to past the boy of as Bella's younger brother. Obviously the father is Edward. Bella and her son go to grocery shopping or to the video store and run into Esme who recognizes the boy as a young Edward. Esme demands that Bella tell him. She does and they arrange to meet in a public place, pretty certain its like a fair/carnival thing. Edward goes in like a suit and stands out like a sore thumb. He also appears to be stuck up. Also I think the kids name is like Masen or something but don't hold me to that.

Any help what so ever would be appreciated!!!

I'm new to this site, but looking forward to exploring.  Seems like there are lots of great recs floating around here. 

I'm looking for a lost fanfic.  I was in love with Winterstale's The Garden, but it hadn't seen a new chapter in over a year.  Now the link on ff.net doesn't exist.   After much internet searching I found references to more chapters and an outake, but all of the links bring me back to the missing ff.net link.  Can any one help me find where the new chapters are posted?

So it's night where I am - 1a.m. to be exact - and I can't get any sleep at all (My alarm will ring in 6 hours). I'm pretty desperate, and I want to read this old good Training school. With 'The Hunger Games' coming out this week, I'm all sorts of excited about it. After reading the books, I'm curious to see how they managed to translate those words into the screen. My friends think the movie looks cool and, without having read the books, are willing to watch the movies.

Personally, I can't do that. Almost all the time, I read the book and then watch the movie of it. I like to imagine the world and the characters by myself before seeing what Hollywood did. I, of course, then compare both of them in my mind and the few times that I've done this backwards (movie before book), I've found the book to be a million times better than the movie.

So, my question is: Do you prefer to read the book BEFORE the movie? Viceversa? Indiferent?

Also, is there a particular book you'd like to see in the big screen that hasn't been done? Because of the visuals or the story or whatever grabbed you. Or perhaps a movie that should've been better?

Is anyone else watching this? It's JJ Abrams and follow his usual odd storyline system. The premise is that in 60's they closed down Alcatraz due to repair costs, but in actuality everyone that was at Alcatraz on a specific date disappeared.

Now the inmates and guards are returning. This team of 3 searches the city of San Fran for them, and they're put in some kind of Government facility until it's figured out how they disappeared, and how/why they're returning.
