Robert Pattinson and Guy Pearce is in negotiations to star in David Michod's "Rover."

Pearce will star as a man who after having his car stolen by a group of men pursues them through the wild and rugged Australian Outback. Pattinson will portray one of the thiefs.

Michod will helm and wrote the script which based on an idea he and "Animal Kingdom" star Joel Edgerton originated. David Linde and Liz Watts will produce through Linde's Lava Bear banner and Porchlight Films.

Pattinson is repped by WME and 3 Arts. Pearce is repped by CAA.

LOS ANGELES, CA – May 2, 2012 – Robert Pattinson has come on board to star in the upcoming film “Mission: Blacklist” with Jean-Stéphane Sauvaire committed to direct. The screenplay was adapted by “Band of Brothers” writer and producer Erik Jendresen from the Harper Collins novel Mission: Black List #1 written by military interrogator Eric Maddox with Davin Seay. Ross M. Dinerstein, Managing Partner of Preferred Content, is producing alongside Jendresen and Kevin Waller.

Embankment Films, the international sales and distribution company recently launched by international sales veterans Tim Haslam and Hugo Grumbar will begin selling the film at the upcoming Cannes Film Market.

”Mission: Blacklist” is a psychological thriller that details the true, inside story of the search for Saddam Hussein and the interrogator, Eric Maddox, who spearheaded his capture.

“This movie is a gripping, edge of your seat thriller,” says Dinerstein. “I have been inspired by Robert and Jean-Stéphane’s dedication to tell this story in the most authentic way possible, and I’m thrilled to add Hugo and Tim to our team.”

Pattinson can next be seen in David Cronenberg’s “Cosmopolis,” which is premiering at the Cannes Film Festival in May. Sauvaire’s last film, “Johnny Mad Dog,” premiered at the 2008 Cannes Film Festival where it won the Prize of Hope.

WME represents Pattinson, Jendresen, and Sauvaire. Pattinson is managed by 3 Arts
Entertainment and represented by the Curtis Brown Group in the UK. Sauvaire is managed by Anonymous Content.

The deal was brokered by WME Global’s Graham Taylor and Deborah McIntosh and Preferred Content’s Kevin Iwashina and Christine D’Souza. WME Global and Preferred Content will be corepresenting the North American rights.

Yesterday, the lovely wolvesnvamps had us discuss the consumer products we purchased and ultimately hated.

So, today, I thought I'd see what we LOVE! 

Have you ever looked at something in the store and thought to yourself, "self, there is no way this does what they say it will do..." ?  But you bought it anyway?  Then you got home and tried it out and HOLY BEJEEBERS IT WORKED! 

I recently had that experience with the DIY gel manicure system: SensatioNAIL by Nailene.  I LOVE the new gel manicure that is all the buzz right now. It doesn't mess with my nails, keeps them strong and the color lasts a good week at least. And if you are anything like me, you are super picky about how your nails look. I almost don't like going to the salon because I will ALWAYS "fix" the job they do because I am THAT picky.  I saw a video review of this product so I decided to try it out.  It was with great trepidation that I did because the starter kit has a hefty $60 price tag, but I figured if it works, it'll cut my applications down from $25 (+tip) at the salon to about $6 by doing it myself.  It comes complete with the LED curing lamp, a color & the essentials needed for up to 10 applications.

So I bought it...

and... after the first application, where I was getting the hang of things, I tried another application and it looks like THIS

Needless to say, I AM IN LOVE!  What I particulalry enjoy is the fact that when this "essentials" kit is used up, I already have the LED lamp, so I can feel free to try other systems, such as Gelish or even OPI GelColor...as long as I can get it through amazon or at a beauty supply store.  I give this one an A++

get rid of your junk and/or have a generous heart!

freecycling is easy and a great way to clear out your stuff. you know the stuff. it's been sitting in your closet. you don't really want to throw it away and you're definitely too lazy to put it on ebay or have a garage sale.

so, why don't you give it to one of your fellow campers? makeup you've used once or thrice, CDs/books/movies you'll never use again, that perfume that makes you sneeze, clothes that don't fit, jewelry you won't wear again, something you crafted and don't know what to do with. anything.

i'm adding a little twist to this one: if you've always wanted to participate in one of these but never knew how and you have a little extra dough, why don't you put something out there for someone? say... a $5 giftcard to something, or movie tickets, or maybe a fun little gift from your state/country/hometown/village/plantation/etc? i know not everyone can afford it, but some of you can. you can offer something like that.

the only real rules are that if you're offering something, you take care of the shipping (or sometimes people offer things that can't be shipped and are pick-up only. do this at your own risk!)

how to freecycle:

-start a comment in this campfire offering up your stuff. it has to go to the first person who responds. no picking and choosing who gets your stuff!

-let us know if you can't ship internationally. 

-you take care of shipping. postage can get pricey, so if you can't afford it, don't play!

-keeping that last rule in mind, if you snag something, offer to cover the shipping!

-do not post your emails and addresses on ADF. take care of that privately.

-do not be a freecycle hog. especially if people are offering good things. give your fellow campers a chance! if no one's snagged what you were eyeing several hours from now, then go for it.

I'm not much of one for action movies. Don't care for those blockbuster type movies (I didn't even see Titanic until it had been on video for 3 months). I'm not a comic book geek. I know Spiderman, Batman, and Superman. Oh, and Wonder Woman. I had WW underoos when I was like, six. I know Joss Whedon created a bunch of TV shows with big fan followings, but I've never watched any of his shows.

So when I had the chance to enter a drawing for tickets to a local preview of The Avengers, I was doing it with the thought that my son would love to go see the movie even if I didn't care two bits about it. Add in the fact that I don't watch TV and have never seen a commercial for it, and you can see that my interest was already at negative below.

But win the tickets I did, so off we went to the theater earlier tonight. And we watched the movie.

AND IT WAS TOTALLY FRIGGIN' AWESOME!!!!!!

I knew the actors in the movie- there's a lot of big names there. But I only knew a few of the characters. The Hulk I knew, because I watched the show with Bill Bixby faithfully as a child of the 80's. I knew Captain America and Iron Man because there have been movies recently about them, even though I haven't seen them. The other main characters, I didn't know. But it didn't matter. The story was easy to follow, and oh mylanta, all the hot men were easy on the eyes.

Jeremy Renner? Check!  Chris Evans? Check! RDJ? Check! And my personal long-time crush, Mark Ruffalo? Check!

The movie was in 3-D and the effects were incredible. I can't believe a studio can put out a movie full of 2 hours of realistic special effects, yet Scummitt can't cough up for a few scenes with decent CGI wolves!

It was also really, really funny. And I don't mean funny like Eclipse was funny, if you know what I mean.

I also have to say that I am dying for some Tony Stark/Bruce Banner slash-fic right about now. Whew, someone turn the fan on because I just got real hot all of a sudden.

I was so excited to get a Dyson! I researched. I waited for a sale. I said good-bye to my trusty but very old Hoover and finally took the plunge.

And it didn't suck. At all. It barely picked up ANYTHING. It was TERRIBLE on hard-wood floors (I bought one that was supposed to be "great" for them).

And then it broke.

Guess what? I have a brand-new Hoover now and it sucks beautifully.
