My awesome friend DeeLovely is also going. We meet up once a year to take a trip, and we figured the only thing better than hanging out with each other was to hang out with each other along with our favorite fandom folks and authors!

Some good friends of ours had a horrific experience yesterday and I just can't get it out of my mind.  I feel like I need to talk about it because even though I wasn't there, I feel strangely traumatized by it.

Idk, it may be disturbing for some so I'll put the story on the inside but it involves a vicious dog attack.

Please come inside and share your own harrowing experiences.  They say that misery loves company, right?  And we have an almost sick need to hash and rehash scary things.

Hello campers!! How's everyone on this beautiful Saturday? I have been missing in action for a while. Working all the time with no room to play in the forest. 

This weekend my home town lost a good man to a tragic car wreck and it got me to thinking. If something was to happen to you, would the fandom know? Would you want us to know? Is there someone close enough to your real life that would be informed and share with the rest?

This Week's Challenge: At my WeightWatcher meeting, my leader was talking about how we're supposed to take 10,000 steps everyday. How far do you walk in a day?

The recommended amount of exercise is 30 mins, 5 times a week. I spent eight hours scraping paint yesterday, so I'm totally counting that.

Yes, it HAS been awhile since I've posted anything or even really hung out in our lovely forest. I've been busy and am moving in a few new circles-mostly music oriented.

The Offspring introduced me to Black Veil Brides, who were my launching point into a whole new musical world for me and I'm loving every minute of it. 

I've got a few vids and pics of me with one of the bands from a recent concert.  And I've found a new cause that I'm extremely passionate about.

I've been with my husband for 17 years.  We started dating when he was 19 and I was 21.  I've always felt over the years, that I have sufficiently educated him in the How's and Why's of being a girl, but every once in a while I am stunned as to the things that come out of his mouth.

Let's discuss some of the things we've had to educate guys on. I don't want this to turn into male bashing, and if there are any guys out there, you may learn a thing or two!
