I wanna mix things up for this food post. Instead of posting all your favorite yummy recipes I want you to fess up to what weird food things you like. Or maybe they're not even weird to you but you know people in other countries/regions would think it's weird. 

I'll start: This one isn't too weird but I never do it in front of people because I'm sure I'd get the side eye. Sometimes I like to put butter on my french fries. I've heard of people dipping their fries in mayo so butter can't be that weird, can it?

Anyway, post away! Photos are awesome. Ask questions. Fess up. Who knows? Maybe we'll discover some new favorites!

*We should have a food tag. Since we don't I got a little silly. Am I the only one that feels guilty if I eat while watching that movie?

So, yesterday, I realised that I say beta differently to my lovely American friends--including my beta, most likely! 

In my accent it's "bee-tah," whilst I'm hearing it's generally "bay-tuh," or "bay-duh," or even "bettah" in other accents. 

And these campfires are always my favourites, anyway, so I thought I'd make one. 

So what you need to do is find a quiet place where husbands/children/parents/mother-in-laws won't look at you oddly as you sit there talking to yourself, head over to Vocaroo, and then record yourself saying all the words that I'll put inside this cf.

We have a woodpecker drilling holes in the side of our house. He put one hole in and my hubs filled it up with foam. He put another hole right beside it. Grrrr. Filled that one up with foam. He picked the foam out and went back to work.

We have had neighbors walking by our house knocking on our door to tell us he's back again.

My hubs wants to get a pellet gun and take him out. I can see my hubby hanging out the window with a gun and having a swat team come and arrest him.

I was just listening to Rihanna's song Stay in the car and was suddenly reminded of New Moon. The whole song just seemed to perfectly fit the book! This has never happened before and I thought I would share :)

Has this ever happened to you? Read a book, and then years later hear a song that just reminds you of the book and captures the feeling of it?

Now I specifically say the BOOK and not the movie. When I read New Moon it was so intense and emotional for me ( I was also sixteen when I read it. lol) but the movie really fell flat for me, it never caused the emotional upheaval that the book did( I mean at times I felt like there was a hole in MY chest!) and I feel the movie never captured that.

Hi everyone! 
As usual I'm here asking for help!

A few years ago I wrote a twilight one shot and published it on an italian site...Now I'd like to post it on FFn.net and I'm translating it....the problem here is that obviously english is not my language so I'm bound to make lots of mistakes... I need a Beta to read the one shot and to tell me were those mistakes are...not just grammar mistakes, I need a sincere opinion on everything! What was your best birthday ever (as an adult)?

So, I'm recc'ing a fic I'd never thought I'd get into. It's not one of those 'omg must read it all in one sitting; keep thinking about the characters day and night; just update already' kind of stories, but I liked it. Interesting twists on canon, even if it's kinda BDII-ish (Renesmee, imprinting thing happened, the Voltury exist and meddle etc). I usually flounce action/suspence whatever stories, but this one had internal plus E/B angst involved, always involved, and that made its 175,051 so far words worth it.
