So I just saw New Moon for the 2nd time and I am just wondering if anyone else seem to be disappointed that the only thing missing from the movie was Edwards Bouffant??  Is anyone else as disappointed as I am?

Ok you guys!  I have felt so disconnected from my lovelies over here at the Forest!  Now that all of the New Moon shenanigans are over and I had to get back to the real world.  :(  

It is  HELL week for me right now!  I have a final this Friday, 2 papers due and finals Monday and Tuesday of next week.  

Who else has finals?  How else thinks that college is overrated?  

Why the hell was Edward so concerned about going to Dartmouth?  I think Bella had the right idea.  Turn her into a vampire and let the SHAGFEST begin!  Wish that was all I had to worry about!

Anywho, I'm gonna assume people are still up to chatting about New Moon so I am gonna throw this one out there as well.

Let's talk Carlisle!

For starters, how fucking cute was he in this film? All those Blonde Curls? Swoon. He's now officially our little cherub vampire. I loved him in that painting scene with his high collar...looking all suave and dashing.

Over all my Calisle experience was an improved one from Twilight but I had a major WTF moment when I watched the movie. What the hell is up with Carlisle talking about vampires being damned?

Carlisle's whole schtick is that he believes in a god and that he believes that actions and choices are important with in the context of that god. I don't once recall him agreeing with the idea that they were souless damned creatures.

This really bothered me as it seems like such a central part of Carlisle and his value system. I'm assuming they cut it so they didn't have to spend the time delving further into that particular scene but I think they really did an injustice to the plot by removing it.

Talk to me about this ladies. Did you notice this as well? Did it bother you? Do you think it was an okay cut or should it have been included? How did it effect your Carlisle vewing experience? I want to know!

He keeps talking about battle scenes. I want to see MORE of Edward and the love triangle. What do you think is going to happen with Eclipse?

So, I spent a few hours yesterday reading Encyclopedia Dramatica. Articles of interest: fandom, fangirl (which redirects you to fantard), and Twilight. The writers of ED will be the first to say that they're the most pathetic of the things they mock- but seriously, after reading it, i almost had a moment of butthurt.

Then I promptly got over myself.

I have the Twilight soundtrack, and I really enjoy it.

The question I have is to those that have the New Moon soundtrack.

Now that you have had the soundtrack for a while now, do you like it?

I don't know hardly any of the bands that are on NM, but I didn't know hardly any on Twilight either.  So, is it any good for someone like myself that isn't a fan of some or all of the bands featured on the soundtrack?  While watching the movie I tried to pay attention to the music as best I could, and maybe it is just me since I have only seen it once so far, but I hardly noticed the music all that much.

Is it worth my hard earned money??

And if not, what song would you rec as a must have if any?

For everyone who's seen the movie, does anyone know what happened to the dream sequences that were talked about beforehand?

There were these quotes from Rob and Kristen:

“The dream sequences are really eerie,” says Kristen Stewart, “it’s like you have something that is your idea of like perfection but you’re afraid of it while afraid of losing it, it’s like very masochistic.”

“He gets the chance to be a little bit more scary in the dream sequences. He’s not so perfect,” she continues. “One dream sequence which I don’t think anyone will expect,” says Pattinson, “Edward is this kind of demon.” “So, hopefully people will be a little freaked out by it.”

I was really intrigued and looking forward to seeing this, but it seems that these dream sequences were cut. There were even photos published from dream sequences, like with Edward leaning over Bella in bed, then Bella leaning over herself asleep in bed, but these scenes just weren't there.

Any idea why? I hope they're at least on the DVD.

Meet Robert Pattinson, The Rowing Champ

London: Robert Pattinson turned out to be a champ at rowing when he beat his co-star of the hot Twilight saga Chaske Spencer.

Pattinson, who plays vampire Edward Cullen in the movies, and Spencer, who plays werewolf Sam Uley in the New Moon film, had a rowing race on the set of New Moon in the weight room that was needed to keep all the actors in shape for the film.

"We were all really competitive and supportive of one another. One time, I had the highest score on this rowing machine and the next day I came in and Rob had beaten me," the Daily Star quoted Spencer as saying.

"He worked out at night, and the wolves came in during the day. I'd beat him and then he'd beat me. On the last day of shooting, I came in and he'd beaten me by a second," he added.

I prefer him in the real thing personally, but the idea of him on an actual work out machine - hopefully - tobless with beads of sweat rolling down his chest is also very appealing to me.

I thought Rob was bagels guy myself, but turns out he is a working out guy.

And why do you use it?

I've seen a number of posters here mention authors on Twitter, and that egotistical behavior there can really turn you off of a writer.  I can definitely understand that.  What I don't get is, what's in it for the tweeter?  Drumming up business?

If you're a reader, do you like following your favorite author's tweets for teasers? 

I have a Twitter account but I rarely tweet anything.  Honestly, my life is not that interesting, lol.  I follow some authors and other Twilight-related accounts, including this blog, for updates.  What about you? If you don't use it, why not?

Taylor Lautner and James Franco: Who Will Be a Better 'SNL' Host?

When SNL announced yesterday that James Franco and Taylor Lautner would be hosting in December, I had one thought: Man, I would love to see these two wrestle. Just kidding: I thought man, James Franco is going to obliterate poor Taylor Lautner and his biceps of teenwolf lust.
