"Twilight" heartthrob Robert Pattinson, arguably the king of the box office these days, may soon be coming to Broadway.

The 24-year-old British actor, currently filming "Water for Elephants" with Reese Witherspoon, has told his reps that "stage work is something that I want to do as soon as I get a window .. it's what I trained to do and what I really miss."

But lest you think he is considering a West End opening night, the actor added, "I am open to any offers play-wise for here or Broadway".

Pattison has told pals that he really admires the career of another British teen idol - Daniel Radcliffe of "Harry Potter" fame.

Pattison says, "I love the mix of stuff he has done in his career, always pushing the boundaries and stuff like that. I also envy his stints on stage; he is a great actor."

Pattison pays vampire Edward Cullen in author Stephanie Meyers' "Twilight" franchise. The next film in the series, "The Twilight Saga: Eclipse," hits theaters June 30. "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn" is in preproduction and scheduled for a 2011 release.

I made the mistake yesterday of greeting an American on gChat with 'ay up'.  I was met with general puzzlement.

'Ay up' is Yorkshire-speak for 'hello' and is usually followed by the endearment 'chuck' or 'duck' (personally, I prefer duck).

I have an entire repertoire of phrases that will bamboozle people not from round these parts...what about anyone else?  Care to share your favourite local colloquialisms (<<<Google is telling me I'm spelling that right so I'm leaving it be)?  

Maybe we can all learn some interesting new slang :D

I have this curiosity, if somebody knows anything about it. Robert Pattinson is already doing Water for elephants (nice photos) so I suppose he has finished with Bel Ami already (Poor boy, he works all the time!!) . Now, we have been told that in Bel Ami there are lots of love scenes with beautiful actresses ... but not one still has surfaced  (well, one, but not very exciting).  How come?

Does anyone remember a fic where E & B were together in high school ( i know, I know) then Tanya sees E at a dance and decides to break them up?  B ends up married to Mike and E, of course, ends up married to Tanya (psycho).  E & T end up moving in next door to M & B and then everything falls apart.  E & B fight their still raging attraction and finally realize it is futile.  Long story short, Mike and Tanya end up being a bit off balance.  When B becomes pregnant, Mike just wants the baby and Tanya just wants her dead.

Any ideas?  I can't remember the name of this one at all......

I am Camilla, I am Italian and I am about to become a grandmother. I was already a member of ADF but it is the first time I maifest myself here. I am quite active as a fanfiction writer, as I have posted 12 stories on Twilighted net and on Fanfiction net. Presently I am trymg to write a sequel to may latest story "The Parachutist" but it is a slow going, due to some RL events and the fact that I don't find it easy to continue, but I feel that I should. .

Enough for the moment. I'll try to figure how this site works and what I can do for it and what it can do for me. For instance, is there a place where one can post profile and contact details and see other members profile?

But, if you need some sentences translated into Italian or edited I will be pleased to do it. I do it for other authors too. I can be reached as Camilla on twilighted or as Camilla10 on ff. I am also on the TCS Library, but it is not a very responsive site, I must say.

I can't use my cell phone because international charges but I need a way to get ahold of relatives that are staying on different decks without making meeting times that will ruin the spontaneity of the trip...

Its still Friday where I'm from so I hope this is okay...

So apparently i am one of the complete idiots of the world.... the girl that i was watching tonight thought i wouldn't notice that she stuck pillows under her blanket before sneaking out of the house (she's 17). She had asked me earlier today if her boyfriend could stay the night and I told her no because I didn't want to be in deep shit with her mom.... so after finding that she has infact snuck out of the house i pack up my stuff and am out the door back to the comfort of my own bed, but not before leaving a note for her expressing said feelings of how she thinks I'm a complete idiot. The part that pisses me off is that i have to be up for work in less than 6 hours and am now not even close to falling asleep. I only post this here because the best friend is not answering her phone so that i can vent (not that i blame her it is after 12:30)

I've been watching disney  the whole day, I'm all giddy and believe unicorns exist right now. I love the classics, the old school stuff, even though I love Finding Nemo and all the new animations that are on the big screen right now, the classics will never get old to me, ever.
