Am a bit new to this whole fanfic world, and am one of those people who is into instant gratification so I'm getting a bit over waiting for authors to update (who do they think they are to have a life lol) and am in denial MotU is on it's last chapter, so am looking for something good to read that's complete. Nothing too soppy, am a 30 yo "mature" (haha) woman so the tween ideals of romance is a little sugary for me. Prefer AH, Bella and Edward pairings.

I like stories with guts and plenty of good lemons.

This week we saw the end of

my very favorite television show of ALL TIME - LOST.

(Seriously, if you want to talk about it, come to my cabin. I cried eight times in those two and a half hours. I couldn't even sleep sunday night. I was a wreck. A blubbering, sniffly, happy and sad mess of a girl)

....but I digress. It was also the season finale for some show called "Bones" and tonight is the "American Idol" finale that my kid is making me watch so FINALE is on my brain.

In the Fanfiction world, the "Finale" would be the last chapter of a completed fic. So this weeks challenge? 

REC a story that has an AMAZING last chapter. Some completed fic that really had a wonderful ending, a great payoff to a great story. I want those incredible COMPLETED fics.

In the past, there have been campfires about who you would rather see in the movie Twilight playing Edward, Rose etc. Well I am twisting those campfires a bit and now ..

I want to know if you could recast your favorite movie or TV show with the Twilight cast...who would you cast in what??

Would Rob be an agent on CSI or NCIS? Ashely a gossip girl? Peter feelin the need for speed?? Stop on by, cop-a-squat, will be making smores later..or cookies..I have the fixins for both. :)

Hi everyone!

One of the things that attracted me to the Twilight story is the idea of "family" that the Cullens represent and try to live out. I find their loyalty and devotion to one another fascinating. And I think it's interesting that one of the reasons Bella is so destroyed when Edward leaves is because he took away his family from her and her hopes of joining that family.

Does anyone have any fan fic recommendations that explore this Cullen concept of family? I think Ithaca is Gorges does this, but are there any others?

Also, I guess this makes me a nerd, but I'm only interested in stories that are canon. I'm okay with AU, though.  Being obsessed with canon is another campfire in iteself. :)
