I was hoping the endless pool of FF knowledge here could help me out...for some reason tonight a memory of a fic popped in my head and I can't place it for the life of me.  All I can remember is Bella telling Edward that music sounds better when you go through the car wash and so they go through and he kisses her, I don't think they are properly dating at this point just hanging out.

I don't know if anyone else does this, but have you ever thought about what fanfics could be turned into, like movie or sitcom-wise?

Like, For the Summer by camoozle could most definitely be one of those hour-long shows, and every season could be one summer. They'd have to extend a lot, but wouldn't FtS make an amazing weekly show? Frick, I'd most definitely watch it obsessively.

Or, The Office by tby789 (are those numbers right?) could be a soap opera. And Paper CutOuts could be a sitcom. And Cascade and Cynaide could be a dramatic film. And Breaking News could be a weekly show, too.

Anyone else have any good fanfic-to-TV conversions?

Those of you who know me, or follow me on Twitter, know that I have a beautiful 11 year old who I lovingly refer to as Mean Girl.

My emotionally aggressive little lovely is in a particularly fowl mood today because she has to wear a 24 hour heart monitor. She's been doing this once a year since she was 6 months old, but that doesn't diminish her raging over it.

So I'm respectfully asking begging for your help. Post a funny pic for my Mean Girl. She's not real fond of people most of the time, but she has a never ending love affair with animals, so find a funny animal pic or vid and turn her frown upside down.

GAW gave her blessing to save my sanity.

I'm in one of those really, really foul moods, so I don't know why I'm even bothering with this right now. Nature must really abhor a vacuum. I have suffered a severe absence of good Emmett and/or Rosalie fic. By the sweet offices of campfires here and breadcrumb trails on twitter, I have been led to a treasure mountain.

Just want to share the joy, with anyone else who might be looking for something similar.

Lilies: dark/tragic Emmett -- what if he inadvertently gave Rosalie what she wanted most of all, but the price, ah, the price ... AU. Long enough to develop the concept fully, but a one-shot nonetheless.

For lots of folks, school starts this month. For some, even this WEEK!  Gak!

I got another request in my inbox to have a fic list compilation of HIGH SCHOOL FICS, featuring the familiar cast of Twilight. Indeed, I see this request at least once a fortnight or so here in the Forest, so this should be a TERRIFIC LIST!

As with the campfire yesterday, I figure this is an anything goes list.  AH (which I imagine will be prevalent), AU, ratings from mild to mature, I invite you to bring your favorites to share around the fire. Then, the next time someone visits the Forest and wants to know what WE recommend for the best High School fics, they can either do a search on the compass icon OR we can point them to THIS LIST!

Remember to punch the heart up at the top of this campfire before you go inside if you want to mark this as a favorite!  It's always good if you can find it again, eh?  I mean, not all of us want to revisit high school, but most of us LOVE watching other people suffer through it. ;-)

Alice keeps insisting that I need to pay serious attention to my grooming because however I look on the big day will be how I look eternally-- aside from the natural enhancements wrought by the change itself.

But specifically, she keeps mentioning WAX and tattoos and other adornments that she thinks might make me feel attractive for all eternity.

Rosalie even backs Alice up on this, offering me images from a file she calls "Sacrificial Grooming" which consists of artwork through the ages of nubile young women on their way to meet death at the hand of a demon.

So, my issue is this: I tend to keep my nether-parts well-kept but natural. I shave and trim to keep it neat, but I've never waxed, and I really don't want to. But do I heed Alice's warning of ETERNAL STUBBLE?

Also, I know fashions in body hair come and go.

What's my best bet?

I saw some commercials and honestly it didn't look too terrible, if I may say =]

Anyway, I'll basically let you guys go where you want with this...
