Anyone want to play "Word for Friends" with a twilight theme? Words have to be somehow related to a fic. For example, someone put RED as their word and then said the "Red Room of Pain" from MoTU. I don't know that there's been a campfire for this story yet.  Allow me to remedy that.  ;)  

PFT is one of my favorite fics of all time by one of my favorite writers of all time (full disclosure: Twanza owns me).  What can I say about it?  It's clever, witty, funny, sexy, and insightful.  This is one of my favorite EPOV ever.  Edward is going through a quarter life crisis, if you will.  I think a lot of us have been there.  We're entering the no-turning back now stage of adulthood and our lives are...not what we thought they would be.  We've settled.  In PFT Edward is making moves to be "unsettled."

the final issue of the buffy season 8 comic is released today in celebration (omg RIP character that i won't spoil for everyone else but D: D: D':)

I'm moody.  I get fic moods.  My current mood is telling me I want a good fic with a  young, cocky, rich Edward (yeah, don't we all).  He can be a billionaire business man, an actor, etc.  He must smirk.  You get bonus points if he's in high school.  I've read quite a few but I know there are good ones out there that I might have missed.

The Coachella lineup was announced yesterday and I'm freaking out all over facebook with my friends.
I've never been before, and I've made it a goal to absolutely be there this year.

Fancy an Edward who is...talented?

A painter? Photographer? Musician? Does he work with India Ink or clay?  Does he create with pencils and paper or does he prefer balloons?

Whatever medium he prefers, he is an artist and the MASTER FIC LIST request I received for stories about him named him Artistward or ARTWARD.  He might be a creative genius or a struggling beginner.  Perhaps he composes for a symphony or maybe he is a caricaturist for money at a carnival.

Have you seen him? Will you let the Campers of ADF know where they can FIND this man?

Dunno about you, but there are worse teams to be on, I must say.

The multifandom fest for fanfiction with dark themes is open for prompt submission until January 28th. We're looking for prompts in any fandom that will give a writer a chance to tell a dark and twisted tale. This is a fest about difficult subject matter, moral ambiguities, unhappy endings, no win scenarios, secrets, lies and shames, psychological messes, a look into the void, bad deeds, bad thoughts, bad decisions, twists of the canon mood or themes, pure evil, or good intentions paving the road to hell.
Prompt claiming runs from January 29th - February 8th, with finished fics due by March 15th.

*This isn't a contest in the way that we're used to thinking.  It's a writing challenge.  I did it last year and it was a lot of fun and I'd love to see Twilight represented again.  Last year there were several Twilight prompts.  I took a dark Jacob/Renesmee one.  It would be great to see people from this fandom submit some prompts and write some stories for this.  Also, you do not need to have a Livejournal account to participate.  They have a gmail address.  You can submit and claim prompts that way and have a mod post your completed story for you.

I really hope this isn't annoying but...

I'm desperately looking for Edward/Bella getting married and trying to start a family story! Yes, I know. Complete fluff. But I'm in the mood to read some romance and cute, sexy times. If 'the gang' happens to be in it, all the better.
