due to hurricane sandy, we the rangers have made the decision to donate the $100 prize money to the red cross in the name of ADF.

we want to thank the participants who each wrote a great story- lady gwynedd, halawia, and wckdqueen- for participating. all of your stories were great (all for totally different reasons, too!), and we all enjoyed reading them. 

i know a lot of people will disagree with our decision to do this, and i apologize if this upsets anyone. hopefully, an act of god won't interfere with our next contest!

and if you're still reading this, i hope you've considered donating to one of the many charities that still desperately need things in the aftermath of the storm. you can go to this post here for a list of the few that i found.

 Does this sound familiar to any of you?

The Volturi send out notice that all unmated vampires need to go to camps to pick out human mates that have been kidnapped. It seems unmated vampires are dangerous and will be killed if they refuse to pick a mate. Edward gets his letter, goes and after testing ends up with Bella. Tanya refuses to go and is on the run. Marcus tours where they keep the humans and ends up mating with Angela.

Write-a-thon

Challengers have the option of collecting a group of people (pledgers) to donate to March of Dimes on their behalf depending on how much the challenger writes during the challenge.

For example: Susie pledges to donate 1 cent for every 100 words Bob writes during the challenge. Bob writes 1000 words, so Susie donates $10.

The challenger who collects the most donations based on their entry will receive a $10 Amazon Giftcard.

To participate in the Write-a-thon, fill out a Pledge Form before the day of the challenge.
