For everybody I have a question (particularly for those who have done a marathon and have just seen again BD1. I had the impression, confirmed seeing it again, that Bella looks very dead. Edward seems to go outside to face the wolves without knowing that  he has succedded and she is undergoing the change. I mean, she screams and jumps twice,but then she is down again looking totally dead, eyes open, corpselike. However, afterwards everybody seems convinced that she is changing. In the book we know that her heart starts pumping again, but in the film this seems not to happen. Or did I miss something?

Hey ladies!!

Im a long time forest follower 1st time campfire starter and I'm in need of ur help!! I'm looking for an Edward/Bella fic that I can't remember the name of. I was overseas for a month with poor to no Internet reception and when I came back to catch up on my fav fics it was gone from my list!!!!! NOOOOOOOOOO 

Bella is kind of a nympho and uses men as her playthings. Her farther is Charles swan who is a senator?? and is still married to Renee. The fic alludes to Charles having an affair with esme??  The Swans and the Cullens are both very wealthy families and attend eachothers parties. They might be neighbours?? Bella and alice dnt get along at all and bella makes alice cry when she says something about her dead mother. Bella watches edward at parties and admires the power he has over women and how they're all over him but he doesn't give them the time of day. She becomes obsessed with him and follows edward when he leaves the party and goes to the gardens with a girl. She watches him have sex with the girl I think or hears them??  She's still kinda young at this point but that's what starts her sexual exploits I think?? She has a nanny who pretty much raised her when she was younger. Bella has a few conquests during her teenage yrs leading to her adult life where she seduces a married jacob black who is an up and coming politician being mentored by her farther. The affair is discoverd and bella is sent away??

She goes to manhattan?? (i can't remember if its manhattan or some other hip city) Bella is kind of a loner and lives in a penthouse. She looks up Edward and starts following him. Edward and Bella finally meet at a party but he doesn't remember her from when they were younger. They meet again at a coffee shop and their relationship starts from there. You know  Bella's been following Edward for a while and the coffee shop is not a coincidence. Bella has to see a shrink as a condition of her deal with Carlisle I think?? She's kind of messed up, she thinks with walls of her apartment are judging her and she keeps diaries of all her conquests. Alice recognizes Bella and tells Edward who she is, he then goes to her apartment and finds all her old diaries. 

Thats all I got up to  and now I can't find this fic. Any help would be awesome. I was really into this fic and am dying to know what happens to poor Bella.

GENIUS (though occasionally slow).  I missed a lot of dialogue's subtlety in the theatre.

The accompanying documentary was really cool; the Cronenberg process is fascinating.

I am not sure why the sex scene is SO HOT.  They don't even know each other, there's no personal connection, and they're conducting a conversation the whole time!  But all the unnnndulations...my.

So, I came across this giveaway on my Twitter feed, and I thought I'd share it here since I don't have a website or blog (not that anyone cares what I say anway, lol) and I know you'll all appreciate it.

Young Adult fiction is my very favorite genre. Even the darker of these book carry a certain innocence within their pages. The authors of YA give their readers the perspective of youth, how the naive handle love, disaster, and fantastical happenings. The characters are not be the most mature minds in literature, but they are fresh and impulsive and stand when society tells them to sit.

My favorite YA story right now is Divergent. Anyone else obsessed with Tris and Four? Veronica Roth does such an awesome job of drawing you into the story. What the heck is going on?! Lol.

I am watching Breaking Dawn 1 and 2 tomorrow night and I am actually looking forward to it.

What is that you are most looking forward to see in the last movie?

I can't wait for the "love traingle" to go. For me it was not that prominent in the book that it has been in the movies. 

I am also looking forward to the fight :-) to see what they have done with it. And I am looking forward to see Nahuel:-)

I read the news on this very reliable site where you can find the article, for all those of you who can read french. It's a website that proposes debates, so it's very interesting.

The debate here was about FSOG's possibility to be liked by french readers - or not. But that's not my point.

In order to keep the debate up to date, they give the news concerning the topic.

And today, I found this : (i'm translating most of it, and i'm doing my best. Sorry for mistakes)

While FSOG tend to a sexual revolution for women, it's a source of conflicts for couples. Proof is that a 41 year-old british woman just asked for divorce, quoting "boring attitude" in bed. According to Mail on Sunday, after she read the book, this woman asked her husband to "play" dirty games with her, notably with handcuffs and other accessories usually used in BDSM.  Hubby refused, and wifey didn't hesitate to fill for divorce, calling him for his "boring attitude" in bed.

"This woman wanted to add some spice to her sentimental life.   [...] She bought fancy underware. But, even then, her husband didn't notice. She told him she've had enough of his limp attitude in their sex life" said Amanda McAllister, the wife's lawyer. When he knew of the book his wife had read, the husband didn't approve at all. "He blew up. He told her : "all that just because you read this freaking book"", said the lawyer

A. McAllister adds that this divorce is the first entailed by the book, mais that it won't be the last.  "There's been a real change in sex comportements. Before, men were complaining not to have enough of sexe. Now, after they read FSOG, it's women who find their husband boring".

So...I'm aware there might be a lot of mistakes in that translation, and i'm sorry about it. But I found it interesting, and it made me wonder : 

In France, women sexual revolution was in 68, during a big social and political crisis. Obviously, I know of Woodstock. But, was it your sexual revolution? Is there ever been a sexual revolution in the US? I have no idea. But if there wasn't, it could explain to me the whole success of the book. IDK. What do you think? Am I incredibly naive for believing that?

I've wanted to post a campfire for a long time now, but I was lacking time.

A lot happened lately :

- Hurricane Sandy, from my TV, was awfull. I can't only imagine what it really was. In France, we only see those scenarii in movies.

- Obama was re-elected (and i'm not speaking about politics cause i'm pretty sure no good will come out of it)

- And oh! I moved to Paris! I'm taking classes à la Sorbonne, and it's quite amazing. 

So, yeah. Life is pretty good to me right now. 

So, this is a campfire about happiness!

let`s try this again, last time i forgot to rec a fic. 

i`m looking for a fic o/s that, as far as i can remember was part of a contest, but i can`t find it anymore. i think it was taking down, as i had it saved in my fav and it isn`t there anymore.

edward was in prison for the murder of jasper(?) because he kidnapped and killed edward`s and bella`s little girl. the fic is told from epov while being interviewed in prison by his attorney. jasper(?) was a family friend an. bella got so depressed that she slept every night in the little girls bedroom. when the girl was found bella cracked up and commit suicide. charlie blames edward for it all.  edward breaks down and as he has nothing to lose goes out and shoots jasper(?) outside the courthouse.  edward in prison doesn`t care what is going to happen to him and how much he is telling them, because he already knows how it all ends. 

this fic is so hearbreaking and i was a sobbing mess. i would really like to read it again. if anyone could tell me the name and point me in the direction where i could find it again. thanks
