Lurking on Twitter this morning, I stumbled upon a retweet that led me to check out Ann Curry's twitter account. There are tons and tons and massive tons of tweets from people who are participating in a movement aptly named #26acts of kindness to remind us that there IS still a lot of goodness in people, especially after the tragedy in Newtown. I was in tears, and then resolved to do my part. 

So, I'm participating as much as I can, and I challenge you forest dwellers to do the same. If you are, won't you list your acts of kindness in this CF and share what you're doing to help this nation heal?

It is an EP (extended play) with original arrangements of three hymns (O Come Emmanuel, O Holy Night, Silent Night) and an original song he wrote called "Awake Your Sleeping Heart." 

I wanted to share something uplifting and in the wake of the tragedy in Connecticut, I am so grateful that I have my son. I cannot imagine the grief and pain those parents are suffering.

Interactive part: what music do you listen to when you need comfort or you need to be transported out of your body and away from cares and woes?

Okay, okay, I actually mean Dramione. I'm here to ask for Dramione recs! (HEA ONLY, I can deal with character death as long as it isn't the two lead characters. I know I'm late to the game, but I've only just started reading HP fic, no idea why. It just never occurred to me to click on any. So, what should I be reading? Whatcha got?

I watched Pride and Prejudice for the millionth time yesterday, and it got me wishing for some P&P fanfic. So, to those of you that have ever read any, here is my request:

I'm looking for a fic that starts when the movie ends. Yes, I'm lame because I've never read the book. It's on my bucket list. Anyways, well written Darcy/Elizabeth fic with lemons. I like lemons.

I need romance people. In the form of book/movie or tv. Seriously, I'm feeling deprived. Anything sappy/romantic/has a arrogant male lead/angst filled/back stabbing.... you get the idea....

A book which made me cry and HAS to be one of my faves in the entire world is Kiss an Angel by Susan Elizabeth Philips... I didn't expect it to be so good but I'm a romantic sap and I loved it.

So obvious that I'm trying to find sth else to obsess over now that Twilight's gone. I just noticed "You will be the death of me" and maybe "Suck the life out of me" (remember it from the tent scene in the movie, not sure if it was in the book). Any other lyrics SM used?

Also, is anyone planning on seeing them live in Europe this summer (or even May)?

Unrelated, but zomg: I see With Teeth's been read again on adf. It makes me happy. Stopped rereading it now that I reached the smut scenes though. Feel to embarrassed now that I've given copies of it to people I thought were my friends :S

I really shouldn't be asking for this because my TBR list is soooo long already, but I was hoping some of you guys might have some recommendations for me.

I really want to read a story with a good Alec or Demetri.  They don't have to be the main characters.  For example I love the Alecs in EP and in CaraNo's This Life.  I haven't read many stories with a Demetri in them, but the Demetri in Guardian by ChampagneAnyone really captured my interest and I remember thinking that I wanted to see him more in the story.  Again they don't have to be the main characters, but I would like to see them throughout the story.

My other request is for some E/B fics in which Edward isn't drawn to Bella immediately.  One of my favorite fics is Trust in Advertising (by the way I have the pdf if anyone would like a copy).  What I loved about this story is that Bella had a crush on Edward all through high school and yet, Edward had no idea who she was when she started working for him 8 years later!  He absolutely could not remember her.  Another example I could use is Elemental by TallulahBelle.  From what I remember, Edward didn't really care for Bella all that much until they were mated which was quite interesting (both the mating and them not liking each other).  If I remember correctly, it wasn't the easiest thing making Bella fall in love with him after they were mated because he was such a jerk to her beforehand.

Hopefully, my explanations of what I would like to read make sense.  I've never been the best at expressing myself through writing, but I really hope some of you have some good recs for me.  =D
