Headed off to a new locale, Kristen Stewart was spotted prepping to leave Sydney, Australia on Wednesday morning (June 2).

I read the first book and thought, ‘Wow, this is a pager turner.’ There was something in the script - the energy. It’s raw desire, that’s what that book is. Which is why it’s weird that little kids read it. I’m like, ‘What are you thinking about when you’re reading it?’ I thought that it was going to be a really simple, overly dramatic - which was what was attractive about it - rotten love story. When they cast me it wasn’t like ‘Omigod, I got this huge movie;’ it was like, ‘OK, I got this film.’ You have to rev up to it.”

Eerily lifelike bust of 'Twilight' star Robert Pattinson sells for more than $1,000 on eBay

The one rule of "Twilight" fandom seems to be that there is always somebody out there determined to do something creepier than the last.

This photo-realistic silicone bust of "The Twilight Saga" character Edward Cullen, as portrayed by Robert Pattinson, sold on eBay for $1,399, according to Gather.com.

The auction listing describes the piece of "art" thus:

"The soft silicone is real to the touch. The punched hair is amazing, the eyebrows, lashes, hairline are hand inserted. The eyes are industry grade glass eyes. The entire piece is foam filled with a core up the neck so he can be easily mounted on a stand or put together as an historic museum quality statue."

The story does not say who purchased this thing or what on earth they plan to do with it, but rest assured if such information ever comes out it will be relayed to you here.

Sunday -- fireside chat: Talk about what you've been reading this week!

Wow.  I finished Ultio last night (technically, this morning) and I can honestly say, I have not read anything like this.  No other fanfic has gotten under my skin like this. 

I am not quite sure how to articulate my reactions to this fic.  The author(s) did a great job, no doubt.  The story is haunting and left me completely conflicted - it is difficult to cheer for either Edward (or Bella in some ways), and at the same time it is difficult to completely hate Edward either.  He's neither the protagonist or the antagonist - just the main character.  Does that even make sense?

Anyone else have similar reactions?  Was your reaction different?

So I was nowhere near email all weekend, and just sorted through my massive list of updates this morning.

I saw definatelystaying had updated "Fractured" with a note that she had moved it. I clicked on the link, GONE. And another story she's been writing, GONE.

Her profile. GONE.

I checked her blogs, the one she writes under her real name is up, but only has original fiction on it. Her fanfiction blog is gone.

Does anyone know where she moved her stuff to? With the long weekend, I would've hoped she'd leave a note up like that for a bit longer than 2 days.

Hi!  Okay, I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend and is having a not so bad Tuesday which is impossible.

We've some business to attend to--and I want to be very clear that this is directed at no one in particular.

*Fic Recs.  We have a weekly post for fic recs, yet I understand when you find a good one, you want to share right away.  So...maybe we need a more than once a week rec post?  It's possible....

Gripes and suggestions.

Here's the deal with ADF:  It is user generated.  Rangers do not want to police this site.  We want it to be whatever you want it to be.  If you want this to be your place to love on Nikki Reed, it is.  If you want this to be your place to discuss Catherine Hardwicke's antics, it is.  I can't stress this enough:  ADF will be whatever Twilight site you want it to be if you post. 

Quite simply, it will be what you make it.  And each of you have the power to make this pretty much exactly what you want it to be.

Please, use this thread to make suggestions or point out things you think could be improved, or any general complaint about ADF.

We are learning about this whole thing, too, and we just have no way of knowing what things are rubbing people the wrong way if no one says anything--and we want to know.  We want everyone to feel comfortable and welcome, and we can't do that if we're not aware of issues.

Please, speak up so we can work on making ADF awesome-er.

Hey guys,

This is my first campfire, so bear with me.

I live in the Netherlands, but am taking a vacation to the US in 2 weeks. Planned it so I'll be in LA when Eclipse premieres.

So now I was wondering... are there any campers who'll be in town that week? Maybe we can work something out, meet up, make sure we're noticed at the red carpet so we can get up close and personal to the cast...

Just a thought...
