Afternoon Forest People! 

So, I'm writing a fic for Writing For Spencer Bell an awesome charity to raise money for adrenal cancer.  Check out the link.

Anyway, so my fic is titled:  Canon: A Comedy of Clichés and I was wondering...  What Twi-Clichés irk you the most?  Alice being called a pixie?  Bella incessantly chewing on her bottom lip?  The constant reminder of how you have to rip apart and burn a vamp to kill it?  There are just so many!

I have a list of the ones I want to use in my fic, but if you mention something I don't have I will, of course, ask permission and credit you.

Oh Jackson Rathbone you sexy beast!  I make no efforts to hide my Jackson love and Lainey reported that he's on the new Nylon mag issue.  Did you know that his legal first name is Monroe?  Here's an excerpt from the interview:

here is something to bother you.

Hello again - it's Thursday, which of course means that it's time for another edition of Fridge Notes: A Love Story, in which ciaobella27, littlesecret84, and I share with you all of the wonderful, tender missives Rob and Kris (and Tom) leave each other on their Fridge of Awesome somewhere in a beautiful house that's far too ritzy for the likes of us.

This week, Kris is quite obviously perturbed by the sheer mass of people who want to steal her soul by photographing her.  I imagine that this is an issue all really beautiful people struggle with.  I have to imagine this, because nobody fights to take a picture of me.  But I can see how a daily barrage of paparazzi up your nose would make an otherwise sane, decent person kind of paranoid after a while, rendering them incapable of discerning the true motive of anyone with a Nikon in their hands. 

Let's just focus on the love, shall we?  There's so much love.  So, so much.

I have been looking at getting an e-reader and I read the Nook and Kindle both support PDFs. However, reviews have been sketchy as to how well they really work.

I have fanfic stories in PDF form and would LOVE to put them on e-reader, but want one that actually works decently and has the text show up similar to book form or at least readable in a non-eye-breaking-way.

DOES anyone have either Nook or Kindle and have tried PDF-fanfics on them?

Heartfail.

I know there is talk about it as a reader. But I want to talk about it as a writer. As a writer have you ever reached that point? Where it LITERALLY messes you up. Where you're balling so much while you're writing that you just have to take a break? Or you're writing something and the whole while you're thinking "I can't do this?"

I'll share an experience, I don't know if it's just me, it might be because I'm crazy like that, but I was once SO involved in a story (original fic)--in my character's mind set--I was writing and the heartfail was NONSTOP for a while and I just COULDN'T take it but each time I broke it up it hurt too much so I plowed through and decided to get it all out in a single swoop. Then when I was done I got sick. MASSIVELY sick for about a week. Fever, nausea, sore throat, the whole nine. Has anything like this EVER happened to anyone else? OMG and if something like this hasn't please don't make me feel like an idiot about it.

What do you do to cope with this? How do you write your heartfail? What works? What doesn't? Do you talk to people about this? What's been your worst experience?

Let's talk about it because I'm having a crisis this AM.

there has been a lot of talk lately about good stories where the primary characters are not Exb.  Purely Secondary or Non Canon - doesn't matter, just so long as ExB are not the primary characters (they can be in it though).

So - I am going to try and make a Master list.  Here's the rules:

She's not impressed with the pranks we pulled on our fellow campers last week (Emmett has had his cars taken away from him - I'm in the clear so far since I'm not offifcially part of the family) but I'm a tender hearted soul and I feel bad for Emmett (afer all, I did goad him into the frivolity) So, in an effort to appease Emse and perhaps recover Emmet's confiscated vehicles, today we're goign to have a present campfire...
