NEW Rob Interview - Talks about BD, Playing a dad, Edward's virginity, Unbound Captives and more

LOS ANGELES—ROBERT PATTINSON usually arrives at our interviews with an easy, sly grin on his face. The smile reminds us that we’re in for another humor-filled talk with the guy.

What was different this time was his haircut—cropped on the side—which made him look younger.

In this chat, Robert talks about his anxiety over the coming end of the “Twilight” series, how he feels about the kissing scenes between Kristen Stewart’s Bella and Taylor Lautner’s Jacob, and a life-changing moment, among others.

Robert has come a long way from the first time we interviewed him on the London set of “Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire,” in which he played Cedric Diggory.

What are you looking forward to about “Breaking Dawn” being shot back-to-back as two films and of Bill Condon directing them?
I’m glad that it’s Bill Condon. I love his stuff. I haven’t seen the script yet but I am fearful about the series’ end. It’s such a great security blanket. It’s like a net. You can afford to make mistakes when you have another “Twilight” film to make. After that, I guess you’re on your own.

I’m glad the “Breaking Dawn” films will be done together. Because otherwise, it’s quite hard to fit another film in-between each one. Like what happened in “Eclipse”—having to get your mind back to where it was before. I had about a week of preparation time. It was quite stressful in the beginning. With the two films done together, you can just stay in character the whole time.

Being a total nerd about this...but the other night I had a total fanfic moment in my RL that made me laugh.

When you're out and about (or in honor of Canada Day...oot and aboot), do you ever see something that reminds you of your favorite fanfics?

The last time I was in the liquor store, I saw a big 'ol box of Franzia wine, and all I could think about was the Tour De Franzia from Texts from Last Night.  Also, every time I see a Toblerone bar, I think of Emanicpation Proclamation.

Have any of you seen it more than one time? How was it at second viewing? How is it now that you can look back without all of the excitement? 

My boss is grumbling today. This makes my day long and nerve-wracking which I dislike.  I thought to myself "we all need a rage/dislike post" and guess what? I WAS RIGHT. I asked the grand old Ranger wolvesnvamps if I could make this post and she said "ABSOLUTELY. GET IT UP NOW."

So I'm going to see Eclipse today, and my theater is playing it in IMAX. 

Have any of you all seen it in IMAX? If so, is it worth the $15 ticket price? Your opinions are appreciated!

PATTINSON SHORT MOVIE SET FOR GLOBAL iTUNES DEBUT.

LONDON, UK, 17 June 2010 – Shorts International will release the short movie The Summer House featuring The Twilight Saga: Eclipse star Robert Pattinson on July 13. The film will be available to download from iTunes Movie Stores in the US, Canada, UK, France, Ireland and Germany.

It is Northern France and the swinging sixties are well underway. While mankind is landing on the moon, a young girl becomes a woman and learns that life on earth can prove to be just as alien as those famous first steps.

The Summer House pairs the emerging British starlet, Talulah Riley (St Trinian’s, The Boat That Rocked) alongside international idol, Robert Pattinson.

So . . . I'm not the biggest Twilight fan out there. Far from it. I might have had to google Clearwater, because I thought it was the lake that Charlie fished at. I've not finished reading Breaking Dawn, but I did push through and get farther than the first time I gave up. And I haven't finished seeing New Moon. I couldn't careless what Robbie P and Krissy Stew are up to, or any of them for that matter. I'll wait to Red Box Eclipse. (omg, please don't kick me out, I like it here!)

BUT I don't hate Twilight.

I SERIOUSLY find it hard to believe that something SO amazing as reading could cause serious hate in anyone. But it's out there. And tonight I just had my real first encounter with a Twilight hater. A serious--we should kill all the fangirls--type of person. And I was shocked. I mean I knew the hate was out there . . . but I didn't know it was to SUCH an extreme. Call me naive, call me new to the fandom, call me just plain shocked.

So I'd like to talk about Twilight hate.

Have you, as a writer experienced it? What was it like? How did you handle it? Or as a fangirl or guy have you experienced it? What were those circumstances? And how did you handle it? And/or if you're someone like me, when does your general indifference about the series become hate? Can it?

I need your help to find this fic that has been on my mind constantly for the last few weeks.

Its an old fic I guess you could say. It's not recent.

This is all I can remember.

It and E/B story.

I think it goes Edward left Bella like in New Moon and sometime later she see's him at his house in Forks maybe. But now he's human. His eyes are green and he's aged a bit.

Apparently the Volturi made some kind of potion(?) that turns Vamps back into Humans. Rose and Emmett have had kids maybe. But slowly Edward starts to get Vamp traits again Rose freaks out when she finds out and makes Bella promise to take the kids far away.I think the rest of the family is humans..

Also the Epilogue was very sad. I literally cried through the whole ending.

Okay i totally forget who it was by or what it was called but it was about whne edward left he didn't come back for a long time and a few years later he goes to seattle and see's bella as a stripper. she's with mike who beats her and she does drugs and it was really good but i lost it.
