Twilight's Jackson Rathbone and his girlfriend Sheila Hafsadi will become first-time parents later this year, Rathbone's rep confirms to Us Weekly.

The couple "is thrilled and excited to be expecting their first child," his rep says.

According to a source, burlesque dancer Hafsadi -- who met the actor-musician during a tour stop with his band 100 Monkeys -- is five months pregnant.

Rathbone has already been preparing to go on daddy duty. A source tells Us he recently traded in two of his vehicles for a Lexus Hybrid SUV to make more room for the family's little one.

just wondering how everyone else saves stories .... downloaders? save chapter by chapter into a word processor of some kind? save the html pages?

personally I've found the best way for me anyway.... is to use a script in greasemonkey called .. (Fanfiction.net story export script.) .. from there i can print a pdf... it comes out looking exactly like it does on fanfiction.net....

How to do this

step 1

Use a browser that can use the addon Greasemonkey ..... I use firefox ... as im sure alot of you do to ...

step 2

Install Greasemonkey

Step 3

Once Greasemonkey is installed.... install the userscript (Fanfiction.net story export script)

~there are other scipts you can install for use on ff.net but make sure it doesnt mess with "Fanficiton.net story export script" ... if you install more then one script they can mess each other up pretty bad ..~ to look up other scripts just go to http://userscripts.org/scripts and type in fanfic or fanfiction or something like that in the search bar.~

Step 4

make sure you have some type of pdf printer driver installed on your computer .... I use Pdf995 printer driver ...  its free dont worry.. if its saying something about you have to pay then your on the wrong page ...

Step 5

In this step... go to whatever fic your wanting to download ...to the right of where the title and author name is there should be a (FE: Story Text FA: Headers Index) .... the only thing you have to click is "story" and it should export all the chapters of that story onto one page ... or you could click "text" and only the text will be on one page.... once you click "Story" and it exports all the chapters it should look like this .."Story(re)"

if you cant locate (FE: Story Text  FA: Headers Index) just look in the pic at the top

Step 6

This is the last step ... Just print the page ... Make sure you have the pdf995 printer driver selected .... if not your going to be printing a lot of pages out of your ink printer lol ... your pdf "save as" should pop up... from there you can select what you want to name it and were you want to save it ....

~Important ~make sure you go to print setup and check the box that says "shrink to fit page width"~ otherwise the font will be to big .....~ or you can mess around with the scale% if you want to get it just right ....~

Yes, yes, I know it's superbowl time... I, however, don't really care about either of the teams, so I'm beginning something much scarier than the toga-clad guy bouncing on the wire (does he have no... um... seriously, that's got to hurt, dude.  No future children for you).  I'm applying for grown up jobs.

As part of this, I have to write a "brief autobiography focusing on important people and places" for a couple applications, and quite honestly have no idea what to do.  Is it supposed to be creative or just stating the facts?  And what exactly does "brief' mean?  If it's hand written, can it go over to the back?

I have one that I've typed up as an idea, but it's creative and definitely in need of editing from an outside eye.

Since we seem to have Avett Bros. fans here just wanted to share my excitement that I got last minute coverage at work to go see the Avett Bros here in Charleston.

I know some of you are amping up for the Superbowl.  It's not that I don't love football, I actually do.  But, the past few years I've been more meh about it.  We'll probably watch the half-time & maybe bits & pieces.  I know i should be ashamed, but I used to host Superbowl parties and go all the nine-yards, and well the hubs is not a sports fanatic so now I just kind of lost interest.

p.s Nat Geo is going to air a show called "Doomsday Preppers". It's like reality crack for the perpetually paranoid or those who spend more than their fair share considering the Zombie Apocalypse. Needless to say...I will be watching.

Superbowl aside, I need some new reading material.  Recently, hubby and I purchased a Nook and I LOVE it!!

Problem, I've run low on stories.  Personally, I prefer Ed and Bella canons and complete works, since I often forget to look for updates and loose track of the stories.

One H*ll of an amazing game!

So, most days I catch my bus across from the facade of a building. I live in a rapidly gentrifying, historic neighborhood, so I figured that what had most likely happened was that the building was torn down and the facade was kept up so that whatever frou-frou condos were being built on the site would have the same look as the rest of the neighborhood.

But on Friday, while googling for images for a presentation I'm doing, I googled the name of my neighborhood, and lo and behold, one of the results were horrific video and photo of the building burning to the ground several years ago. And I mean, burning to the ground--not that the building burned and they had to tear it down--one night it cauhgt fire, and in the morning, all that was left was the facade. Fortunately, everyone survived and there were no serious injuries, but several hundred people lost their homes and all their belongings, and the building has not yet been rebuilt. 

It got me thinking. By Saturday, I'd dropped $50 on a fire extinguisher and a fire safe, which have both been "eh, I'll get around to it" purchases for a long time. 

Often, here in the forest, people post lists of questions to get you to think--about how you read fic, or what kinds of books you like, or what kinds of fic you read, or how you review. So here's a list of questions I've been thinking about this weekend. Answer them publicly if you choose, but take a moment to answer them. It's worth doing. 

1. Do you have smoke dectors? Are they on every floor and close to places fires are likely to start? And very importantly, when did you last change their batteries?

2. Do you have a fire extinguisher in your kitchen? Do you know how to use it? Have you checked to make sure it's in-date and properly pressurized? If you have more than one floor, do you have extinguishers on each floor?

3. Do you know safe cooking practices, and know how to put out a grease fire? 

4. Have you walked your home and identified fire hazards? 

5. Do you, and every member of your family, know exactly how you'd evacuate your home in case of fire, and where you'd meet up? Do you know two exits from every room in your home?

6. Have you thought about how you would navigate your exit if you were crawling because of heavy smoke? 

7. And since home probably isn't the only place you spend a lot of time, do you know exactly how you'd escape/where fire extinguishers are/where to meet up at your place of work?

Several members of our broader fandom community have been the victims of house fires and other disasters, most recently a member of Twilight Moms. Thankfully, in every instance, only property has been lost, but it's devastating nevertheless. As kids, we get fire safety lectures all the time in school; we're drilled on how to exit the building once a month; we learn STOP DROP and ROLL; maybe even get to go through the cool fire safety museum. But as adults, it's easy to think that it's never going to happen until it does.

Think about it now. Make changes today. Plan what you're going to do...because if the worst happens, you won't have time to think.

Picked up this WIP and wondering why it hasn't more review-love.  All human, with a real Edward, Wall Street wunderkind, who unwillingly falls for a somewhat enigmatic, wealthy Bella.  

There is little navel-gazing that fanfic authors (myself included) often indulge in, and so Edward's POV has a real-man quality to it.  Love it -- it's nearing the climax ( I think) , so go check it out!
