Hello everybody!

For some bizarre reason, I keep losing stories that I previously favourited. I am not sure if it's a technical glitch or my personal inaptitude. :-(

In the story I am looking for Edward is an incubus (not "Incubus Anomaly" and not "Ars Moriendi"), who meets and reluctantly falls in love with Bella. He has long ago stopped sleeping with his prey as he does not want to kill the women. Bella stirs his unholy appetite and despite or because of his attraction to her he makes out with other women in front of her. Of course, this is only to prevent him from harming her, but it naturally pisses her off.

Carlisle is also an incubus in this story, and he has a human wife (Esme), and wants to show Edward that it is possible to live with a human woman without killing her. Edward thinks it's all rubbish. In the meantime, Bella becomes suspicious that Edward is not normal/human. The last chapter I read, as far as I recall, has him getting shot while defending her, and her realising that the bullets did not penetrate his skin.

Does this ring a bell with anybody?

I cannot remember the story's title and I also don't know if it's still around. Very possible that it was pulled.
