Hi Campers :) 

I need some help :) I'm writing my thesis (yayyyyy!), the subject is Shakespearean's movies of Laurence Olivier, Orson Welles and Kenneth Branagh.

The problem is that I found a lot of material on Olivier and Welles but not so much on Branagh....

I'll try to be more specific. In the first part I talk about the differences between cinema and theatre, then there's a chapter about all of the shakespearean movies that have been made and the opinions of scholars on this subject. The last part focuses on the three directors and the analisis of their Shakespearean movies. As I said before, on Sir Laurence and Welles I found lots of articles and books that will help me in my analisis but not so much on my dear Kenneth..

I only have a book on Hamlet's screenplay and film diary, I need some materials on the other movies and on his career :)

There's some movie geek like me who can help me?

Here's the deal.  My brother-in-law moved in with us August of 2008.  We had gone home (NY) the same time so he house-sat for us.  While we were home we shipped his stuff to our house.  

Well, he moved around Nov/Dec of 2008 and we paid his ticket because he screwed up on his flight to NY.  After he left, we started getting slammed with calls about his student loan (which my husband co-signed for after I told him not to but his mother strong armed him about it).  This ruined hubby's credit and trust me, this made us mad and it ruined what relationship we had with him.

It has been several years where he never asked for anything.  We found out that he and his wife (with a baby) are moving here because she can't separate from her parents...

He made a comment where he'd come here and collect some of "his" movies.  From what I understand, possession is 9/10th of the law; therefore, I shouldn't have to give anything back to him, right?  I don't that we should have to.

Also, we were told that we won't have to worry about being asked for money for his loans. I was recently told this isn't true and that they can come and take money straight from his check if his brother isn't paying them...can they???

News just in from TMZ:

Liberty Ross has filed for divorce from her cheating hubby Rupert Sanders ... TMZ has learned.

Ross just filed her paperwork in L.A. County Superior Court. She's asking for joint custody of their 2 children -- ages 5 and 7.

Ross, who is repped by disso-queen Laura Wasser, is also asking for spousal support, as well as attorney's fees.

Sanders, who is repped by Lance Spiegel, also filed his response to the divorce petition. He's also requesting joint custody. He is not asking for spousal support. As for attorney's fees, he wants to share the costs with Liberty.

Sanders famously cheated on Ross ... with Kristen Stewart, whom he was directing in "Snow White and the Huntsman."

As we first reported ... Ross and Sanders went to a shrink a number of times trying to work out their problems, but it was not meant to be.

Some people may wonder what took her so long, but it's obvious that they went into counselling hoping to salvage things but it was just not meant to be. I feel sorry fot he kids....5 and 7!

I guess KStew is technically a homewrecker now.

I got a kindle for Chritmas and it's been going great until I loaded some fanfic. I use calibre to convert my pdf fanfics into mobi. The stories look fine with the exception of some letters missing from words and broken sentences. Does anyone know how to fix this?

I cannot tell you how much I love this story.  I normally read stories strictly for the E/B romance/sex and am not as interested in the character development and backstory- this is not the case with this.  Chapters regularly make me cry. I just love it so much. That being said, it's 23 chapters in and E/B haven't kissed, let alone..er.. banged, so if that's all you're interested in.... you should still read this you perv!! lol srsly though. it's amazing.

It's an Edward and Bella fic, Bella is married but Edward is single, they're having an affair together. Bella keeps telling him she needs to get back to her husband, when actually she's already separated? That's the most I can remember. Edward gives her an ultimatum of sorts and that's as far as I got :( if anyone knows this fic PLEASE let me know!! Thank you all so much, Bex =) 

Oh and if anyone does read this, you MUST read "FicThisGifAnonContest" story "The Girl Who Jumped" if you haven't already =) It's a one shot and absolutely amazing! I've read it countless times, it's so cute and also check out "Wat'sMyNomDePlume's" story "The Best I've Ever Had".  Its fun, hot, sweet and incredibly adorable =) Both are Edward and Bella stories :D

Yesterday I was arranging my fanfiction file and my dying computer is not opening any files that are saved in rtf. So I'll have to download the files all over again, now in pdf.

So there are still that Google docs page that has several fanfictions, or somewhere else for me to download them!?

I just saw this trailer for the new movie Jack the Giant Slayer.  

I don't know...I'm conflicted.  It seems that once Hollywood gets it's mind on something, it becomes such a trend:  Red Riding Hood, Alice in Wonderland, Snow White and The Huntsman, Mirror Mirror, the upcoming Hansel & Gretel and Oz movies.

I've liked some - I actually enjoyed Red Riding Hood, and I thought SWaTH was good.  I couldn't get through Alice and didn't see Mirror Mirror.  I'm actually looking forward to Oz the Great and Powerful, but I'm not sure about Jack or Hansel & Gretel.

What about you?  Is it just too much?  Or are you happy about all of these fairy tale type movies being made/remade?  Which ones are you looking forward to or which ones have you enjoyed?
