The Sun Is Setting On This Relationship

 We’ve talked several times about how this very famous couple was assembled in a publicist’s office. We may have also mentioned that the relationship would end after the DVD was released. Well, the break up is coming, and we have more precise information for you on the timing!

It will definitely happen before the end of August 2013.

Why August? Well, when the contract was originally written several years ago, the exact dates of the film’s release and the DVD release were not known. While they approximated that the entire promotional campaign would be finished by the end of Spring 2013, the production company padded in three additional months to the “personal relationship” contract just to be sure. The contract ends in August of 2013.

The film and DVD are already out, and the promotion is essentially done, so the break up (which will be very amicable) will happen any time between now and August with the consent of both parties.

Will you see still them together from now until the breakup? Yes, but rarely. The genuine friendship that the actor and actress once shared peaked a long time ago – and has been going downhill over the past few months – so they are now spending as little time together as humanly possible. They are done.

BBC recently interviewed Stephenie Meyer and asked her about Fifty Shades. She mentions that she's been sued for stealing from another book (obviously stupid accusations). I find it interesting that, in all this Fifty Shades of Grey craziness, it's SM who's receiveing plagiarism lawsuits. From this interview, it looks like she's never going to go after p2p fic. I'm not sure if that annoys me or not. I sort of wish she'd at least express the ethical ambiguity of the situation. Sigh.

I'll start with this. More inside. XD

I don't really know what the point of this campfire is yet, but uh, I'm watching Eclipse right now (having myself a marathon, since I got Breaking Dawn Part II yesterday), and Bella is annoying me! 

I feel like they really tried to make Jacob this sexy badboy in this film, when if you know the material, for me at least anyway, Edward being the vampire would have been the badboy, the seeminly dangerous one, the one who can give you nightmares but also be your wildest dream. And Jacob well, he was the boring "human" one...even though he turned out to be a wolf...but you get my meaning, he was the safe option, the one approved by dad.

Though, that wasn't really my point, even though I said I didn't know my point, rather, Bella is all "Edward, you have to trust me." And for a second, just a small moment, I thought, they're making Edward seem like he is JUST some control freak who doesn't care about her, and that he isn't doing what he's doing for her safety, but that he just wants to be in charge, and that he is someone she should get away from, seeing as though he's trying to keep her from Jacob. And she's all trust me, trust me. 

THEN SHE KISSES THE DOG! 

(I actually don't hate Jacob, but in that moment, in that *BLEEP* moment, I am always livid)

I've been thinking about re-reading the books since all of the films have come out now, and I haven't read them since I first got into the saga. And I think I only read them once, maybe some of them twice. 

Because I can't remember the stuff I'm missing from the books. Was Bella like this between the two of them in the books, or did the film really just amp up the triangle SO much it got out of hand? I don't remember. 

Was Edward painted as this controlling in the books? I don't remember.
I do remember him not wanting her to go to the res, and holding her "hostage" at the house though...eek!

So, tell me about the differences between the book Eclipse, and the movie Eclipse? 

Did you like either? Prefer one over the other? 

Maybe you're a Jacob lover, and really thought when New Moon happened, that she was going to end up with Jacob...?

I live in South Carolina, where some ill-informed people have presented a bill that will effectively eliminate midwives in the state.

This is a huge concern for me, as I had both of my babies under midwifery care at a birth center.

I don't plan to have any more children, but if this bill passes, my children will no longer have much of a choice on where or how to give birth. My newly pregnant friends will have no choice.

It would mean a great deal to me, and to the women of this state if you could call or email your opposition to bill 3731. There is also a petition you can sign.

It's Mothers Day here in the UK. A day to be thankful for the wonderful woman that brought you into the world. We all have motherly figures in our lives, mothers, mother in laws, stepmothers, grandmothers,, godmothers, foster mothers.
