World Book Night is a program that distributes free copies of quality books to encourage adults to read.
It started in the United Kingdom and has since spread to the US and Canada.

Dear WBN Fans,
We're already planning WBN 2014, and we want your input on the book picks for next year. Let us know. You may suggest up to four titles.
Some things to know before you begin:
-- We are not asking you to rank your recommendations. Your first suggestion below will be given as much weight as your last.
-- No children's books; there are other great programs that focus on kids and World Book Night was specifically founded to offer adults and teens a life-changing book, or just a nudge back into reading.
-- Books should be appropriate for middle school-level readers and higher.
-- Aside from reading level there are no restrictions: fiction or nonfiction, contemporary or classic, poetry or prose, any genre
-- These are nominations only. In addition to giver-recommended titles, we will draw from bookseller and librarian recommendations and various best of/award-winner lists, as we did last year.
Okay. So I am trying to think about what books i would recommend to nudge teen and adult reluctant readers / nonreaders into picking up a book.
Recommendations: This year I gave away 20 copies of A Handmaid's Tale by Margaret Atwood and the year before I gave away Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card. Check out the lists of previous World Book Night books to see if any appeal. As far as I can tell, there's not a dud in the bunch, although some might not be to my particular taste.
WHAT FOUR BOOKS WOULD YOU WANT TO GIVE AWAY?
I WOULD LOVE TO SEE MORE FANTASY / SCI FI.
Make suggestions!
Perhaps even sign up and end up sharing
one of your favorite books
and the love of reading.
