I just came across an article about authors' favorite first lines of books. It got me curious.

What are your favorite first lines of fanfics? 

If you want to include your favorite last lines, go for it. Just remember that they could be spoilery. 

Ok, so last Friday I had my wisdom teeth pulled and spent the weekend having a Twilight marathon. Now I noticed in the BD2 montage that the original Quileutes from the first movie were not present. Has anyone heard why? And  if there was a CF concerning this, I appologize.

So, I have a good friend that is on a wicked organic kick, from the foods she eats to what she wears.  I love her to pieces, but she is often commenting about how I shouldn't be using stuff like Baby Magic as it will be bad for the baby.  My issue is that her organic stuff, I don't like the smell.  It is like there is something missing from the ingredients and I hate the smell of my hands from the lotion or hand wash.

What is your opinion??  I do follow some of what she does, as I ordered clothed diapers and I plan to use glass bottles. I try to watch the BPA on products as well, but somethings are harder to part with than others.

Does anyone know what has happened to Twilighted.net? When I first started posting fan fiction, it was, for lack of a better word, the IT spot. Anyone who was a talented writer was posting there. Lately though, it seems empty. It used to take 2-4 weeks for a new story to be validated, but recently, it's not as popular. Anyone know what happened? 

In addition, I've always wanted to be a Validation Beta over there. Does anyone know how to do that? They have a Validation Beta Test, but I'm not sure where to send it. Is anyone a MOD over there? Or do you know someone who can help out?

I've returned to the the Forest and, oh, so happy to do so.  I've missed you guys.

I generally wouldn't make a campfire about this but many people have wondered what happened to me and why I left.

Long story short, it was for professional reasons, but I think I've figured out how to keep Mrs. Brownloe incognito, so here we are.

The main reason I'm firing this up here and now is because I'm reposting my stories on fanfiction.net and I don't want you to think a massive act of plagiarism has occurred.  It's me, just a new name.

It's good to be back, though.

so, what say you of books? i'm right in the middle of name of the wind by patrick rothfuss, and darling- it is fantastic. sometimes, i read a line and grin happily. it's wonderful. for those of you who enjoy reading things of the LOTR variety, i suppose, only nowhere near as convoluted in its own mythos (apologies to tolkien, but reading fellowship bores me to tears).

anyway, whatcha readin'? soon-ish, i hope your answer to that question will be "jandco and wtvoc's new novel".
