There are a ridiculous number of Apple iphone & ipad apps suddenly free and availabe for download/testing, probably due to a certain anniversary. Several address downloaded text and content management issues, so I figured that may be appropos for what we do here.

I'm not sure how long they'll be up and viable, but I reckon this is pretty interactive, since many of us are Mac/Apple/iphone/ipad heads... ?

I've been a lurker for a few years, but for the past two years I've been living in China, so I haven't been keeping up to date with fics. Soon I will be taking the 30 plus hour plane trip back to the states and I need some fic recommendations! I'm looking for good, completed stories that were completed in the last two years. Hey campers! 

We are smack in the middle of the summer TV season and for me, it's hard to find scripted shows that I enjoy enough to keep me tuned in.  BUT, this summer I found an awesome little show that could: 

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this show! Every episode surprised me in some way and I realized I couldn't "expect" anything from these characters. Last night was the Season 1 finale and not only am I dying to discuss it with someone, I also need people to commiserate with because I have to wait until NEXT SUMMER to get Season 2. 

Does anyone else here watch Defiance? Who is your favorite character? Least favorite character? Character you love to hate? Do you like the mythology/alien races?

I'm looking for a Bella/Edward fic i read a few years ago, hope people remember the title.  Bella is a waitress and Edward comes into her diner regularly, she's witty and tells jokes with the other staff.  Esme doesn't approve of her because she's working class, he plays the piano.... i really hope this rings a bell for someone.  Dying to reread it.

I'm leaving for Africa on Friday and I have a 10h+ flight ahead of me (as well as 7 weeks in which I won't be able to update my music library). My iPod has been very neglected for months now, the times where I discovered new bands each day seem to be long over (plus, my iTunes library is on my old laptop but I only ever use my Mac anymore so updating this is also a huge pain...)

Hello everyone!

So, I discovered HBO Go this weekend, and have been binge-watching old seasons of True Blood that I have never seen.  I'm now interested in reading some True Blood fan-fic, but am afraid to go fic diving after so many years of reading really quality Twilight fic writing.  I'm interested in either Sookie/Bill or Sookie/Eric, but really would take any recommendations.

I just  finished reading The elusive Mr Cullen and I am in shock. And now i really need some good Ceoward fanfiction where Edward is sexy, healthy and posessive with Bella but not THAT crazy. I'm not sure if Free-for-All is finished now, but I'll provide a rec at the conclusion of this campfire just incase. So two nights ago, I got plagued with the plotline of a fanfiction I read years ago but never finished because it was still a WIP at the time. It was pretty interesting from what I can remember and I would love to go back and finish it since I assume it would be completed by now. 

Here's what I remember: 

It starts off with Edward and Bella in some random office closet having sex (we find out that they are co-workers but in the past year or so, established a very casual sex relationship with no strings attached supposedly). Except now Bella is emotionally-attached to Edward now, much to her disdain. We also find out Edward is sort of a womanizer in the office. Bella was later on invited to some Cullen Dinner Party and there she ran into Edward, who came with Heidi and introduced her as his girlfriend. Bella got upset, and confronted Edward in the bathroom and while Bella feels something for him, Edward claims that their relationship before was purely sexual for him. Bella got pissed and decides to call their "arrangement" off, and she quits her job and moves away because she needed a break from Edward and wanted a fresh start. 

Bella established herself in a new city, and I think she became friends with Alec (this detail is kinda fuzzy and I might be confusing it with another fanfic), and the last scene I remember is her painting in an attic while reflecting on the past year or so.

 Sound familiar to anyone? :O

Idk how I would go about that. I would love to, but yeah.

Thanks to everyone to commented in my Mac campfire. I definintely think I'm goig to go with the mac. All the problems I've had with windows in the past has seriously annoyed the crap out of me, and since I have my own money now, well...:D

Anyway, back to the matter at hand. I guess you could say this campfire is an update of sorts on what's been going on lately-with RL, Resent, etc. But mostly RL. Specifically with Bro. I already mentioned it briefly in my mac campfire, but I'm feeling the need for some good ol- catharsis, so I'm going to open the proverbial door and invite you all in.
