What is a Lyric poem?

A lyric poem expresses personal or emotional feelings and is traditionally set in the present tense. Lyric Poetry consists of a poem, such as a sonnet or an ode that expresses the thoughts and feelings of the poet. The term lyric is now commonly referred to as the words to a song.

Lyric poetry does not tell a story which portrays characters and actions. The lyric poet addresses the reader directly, portraying his or her own feeling, state of mind, and perceptions. It is not always, set to music or a beat. So basically, it is a short poem of song-like quality.

I'm calling out to the Southeastern campers that plan on a get together in a few months. It sounded like the last one was so much fun, I'm quite jealous. If this has happened to you, or to a camper who contacted you with this problem, you are not alone. I have had this problem on and off for several weeks now. Clearing my browser of cookies helped the first time, but not this last time. Frustrated, I contacted my internet provider who not only fixed my issue, but also gave me the address of where to go and fix it myself should this issue arise again. Since I use wind stream they have a DNS cleaner which took only minutes to fix the problem.

I would advise anyone who has this issue to contact their service provider rather than attempt to fix it on their own.  Google search can give you some wonderful suggestions, however, unless you are a true techie it can be a little like reading instructions written in a foreign language. I know when it comes to removing host files I am not one to start blithely deleting this stuff without a geek squad member holding my free hand!

Haven't read many Twilight Fics lately, so this ones been kicking around for a while.  Rec: Words With Friends by Nolebucgrl  Summary: Bella Swan has a major crush on a major star, Edward Cullen. They have an obsession with the same game. Can they connect through Words with Friends and become more than that? Rated M.

Here's a SVM/SSN Rec, too: The Arrangement by TexanLady  Summary: Summary: Bill's disappearance forces Sookie to call on Eric for aid. Eric of courses offers to help, but for a price. Sookie is forced to enter an arrangement with him that threatens all she holds dear, but Eric's determination to have her leaves her no choice. One of the best fics out there. WIP.

Remember those lovely ADITL campfires we used to do?  Well, this will be a weekly (ish) CF for you to show off a little piece of what's going on in your life right now. 

This week (since I missed the Roll Call over the weekend and am a bit jealous of that), we'll be posting pics of ourselves.  If you feel like that's too close to real life, feel free to post a pic of you as a young 'un or post a pic of you in profile or disguise.
