Hi All - I just found out the Fictionators is gone. Does anyone know what happened?

Let's have a good ol' fashioned TMI campfire!  Haven't seen one of these in a while. :)

Anything goes in here!  Want to talk potty humor?  Sex?  Most embarrassing moments?  It's all good, you're among friends!  Have any questions about the above or any other topics that you just can't bring yourself to ask your friends or doctor?  Or do you ever get confused by sex scenes in fic and wonder if something described actually happens?  I know I do.  Bring 'em here!  

To get us started, here's a special assignment.  Since I'm due to pop any day with baby #3, tell us about your birth experiences.  You know, the version that you censor in polite company?  Or, how about, did you have any tricks for going into labor?  I'm pulling out the stops on this one, lol.  Don't have a birth experience you can share?  No worries.  Have a mom, sister, aunt, friend with a crazy story?  Let it fly. :)

After almost 6 years of reading Twific, I reached a milestone a couple of days ago. I left my 10,000th review on FFnet.

Admittedly, my numbers were fudged by all the pulled fic that I've reviewed and lost my review count for. But, I digress...

Are you a reviewer? Why or why not? I'm always surprised when readers say they don't review. I mean, it's obviously your prerogative (thanksbobbybrownstuckinmyheadallnightnow) but why wouldn't you? Just a few words to tell the author thanks for sharing or that you enjoyed it or point out a scene or piece of dialogue that really struck you?

I have to admit that I don't review as much as I used to. I look at my old reviews on Twilighted, and they were paragraphs long. Now it's likely to just be a couple of lines. I also read a lot on my phone and hate trying to type on it, so that's cut into the amount of reviews I leave, as well.

Hey, I'm feeling nastalgic for what I call the best original Jasper/Bella fic ever written.  I have a paper copy from back in the day that is wearing out fast.  Does anyone have a pdf of "Colliding Meteors" by Idreamofeddie?  I really want it on my computer.  sigh..... I am reading The Art Teacher by the lovely Spanglemaker and have just read the most perfect sex scene.  I really didn't realise that I have been reading really trashy fics of late with sex scenes that should be toned down a lot. This scene is just sensual and honest and really really sexy without having to read about wet panties, big cxxks, cores ect.

I am so loving this fix right now that I just had to let you all know, and ask "what fics have you/or are reading that fit into the good sex category?"

BTW it's been ages since I made a campfire, I may be a tad nervous no one will remember me!

Stop and Smell the Roses

This week our photo CF theme was inspired by my daughter, who takes the time to enjoy the world around her.  We stop and peek at the roses at her school before walking to her classroom.

I will post mine inside in a few hours.  I seriously think it's funny that I chose this CF theme for this week because today has been absolutely crazy--I was running late at work so went straight to pick up each girl from school and have been running around trying to get homework done before dance class.

... why this woman would do this to her body? I have no problem with a person getting a tattoo of a favourite character, quote, etc... However, this is overkill. And registers as a 100 on the creepy scale. It's one thing to love a series, but when you're covering your body with the actors faces, it's a little much. Perhaps i'm too judgemental. Is that it?
