I thought it might be time for a an update on what's happening for our Twilight film alums.

Taylor Lautner is dating his co-star from a film called Tracers, to be released sometime in 2014.  He looks pretty smokin' here, I must say.  Photo taken last night after a concert:

Kristen has a movie to be shown at Sundance, Camp X-ray, about a young soldier at Guantanamo.  It's sure to be controversial.  Here she is:

And Rob is about to film a part in Queen of the Desert with Nicole Kidman, as Lawrence of Arabia.  But his trailer for The Rover should be coming out soon, in January perhaps.  Apocalyptic Austrailian fare:

So it's the last regularly scheduled college football weekend. I'm very sad. 

But, it's also conference championships and the final weekend before bowl decisions. I have no dogs in this fight (my team didn't even make a bowl, ugh) but I'll cheer for yours. Come in and tell me what you want to happen.

So, I may have celebrated the end of the semester a little too much last night, and I woke up this morning with a pretty massive hangover. Not typically being a big drinker, I HATE being hungover and I get really irritable and act super dramatic. If it didn't make me look like such an idiot, I would be that person walking around inside with sunglasses on and telling everyone to speak to me in hushed tones. It especially annoys me when I am forced to experience hangovers alone. My boyfriend woke up super chipper this morning, and I was just like, "Really? Take your happy attitude and shove it, mister."

I usually rely on super strong coffee and a large fries from Burger King to get me through. What's your hangover cure? 

I've noticed a few times in recent Help Campfires that people were asking for gift-giving advice and I'm sure the rest of us have that person on our list who is hard to shop for. Or maybe, like me, you're just out of creative brain cells and can't come up with one more freaking gift idea. So maybe we can help each other out. Stumped on what to get for your kid's teacher? I bet someone here has a great idea. Your Aunt Cindy, the crazy cat lady? Surely someone else on ADF has had to buy a gift for a crazy cat lady aunt.

So have at it! Ask for suggestions or maybe share some awesome new gift idea you've discovered this season.

the holiday freecycle is a little different, so pay attention, holiday elves

-start a comment with what you're willing to give away, including treat boxes! i was gonna do a separate CF for that, oop

-people give away stuff they no longer want or need, but this time of year, you can give whatever you want. check previous holiday freecycles by clicking on the "freecycle" tag and scrolling to the december posts. if you're giving away an ipad mini or air, let me know in advance so i can snag it, eh?

-no money is to exchange hands, else it wouldn't be a freecycle

-the first person to comment gets the stuff. don't be a grinch!

-let us know if you're willing to ship internationally.

-don't give it away if you aren't willing to give it free and clear.

-if you're in the spirit of giving and have the means to do so, offer giftcards to people! this is a rough time of year, and while 25 bucks might not mean much to you, to a lot of people it can mean the difference between having bread and milk or being kinda hungry. the kindness of internet strangers never ceases to amaze me!

BUT ALSO

-if you're looking for a specific gift for a person that you can't find, ask for it! check previous holiday freecycles, you'd be amazed at what people give away. this is the only freecycle all year where we allow people to ask for stuff.

-your thing goes to the first person to respond.

-don't be a freecycle hog. let other people get free things, too! 

-if you offer it, you take care of shipping. that has always been the deal.

-if you're taking it, you really ought to offer to reimburse for shipping. shipping can be a lot, man. 

-do not post your home address or email address anywhere on ADF. take care of that via PM!

-let us know to which countries you're willing to ship
