Is it still Free-for-All time Rangers? I want to "regift" my Kindle Fire to my 8 year old son for Christmas. But first I need to wipe all my downloaded fics. :) I've already got the fic documents on my Kindle ap on my iphone 4 which is what I usually use to read off of anyway. If I wipe all content on my Kindle device and reregister Kindle device under my son's name., will I lose everything in my cloud or my iphone? Or do I. Just need to download the fic documents to a good old computer? If so, how do I do that? FIC REC - I just read HELP WANTED by JAXON12, which is a really popular old fic that I somehow never read before. Hot & charming AH with quickly resolved angst for a long story.

all right, listen. i'm no fan of outlander. i liked the first book okay, but the second plus the author herself just really annoy me.

Happy Football weekend. It's rivalry weekend, lots of big games going on today. It's also getting close to playoffs in the NFL. Come tell me who you love, hate, all that stuff. 

Well, my Steelers already lost for this weekend, my Mountaineers have a game that won't really matter for anything since they can't make the bowls. 

Hopefully my fantasy team will win. 

I can very rarely stay up late enough to watch, but I slowly, bit by bit, youtube clip by youtube clip, find myself falling in love with Jimmy Fallon.  He're his latest Thanksgiving Medley.  I feel like I'll be singing "Buuuuuterbaaaall!" every year going forward!

I hope all of you who celebrate American Thanksgiving have had a wonderful holiday.  I've eaten too much turkey and pie and washed practically every dish in the house at least three times over the past two days.  I'm tired.  Time to veg out with some videos.

Remember in Bridget Jones's Diary their Turkey Curry Buffet? We do, and it inspired me to try to do a little more with our leftovers than just sandwiches!

What are your favorite leftover recipes? How do you transform that huge meal into something that the family can eat again and again?

Turkey Curry is top on my list.

The freezer is next. I've already made frozen dinners of Thanksgiving goodness! And we've still got enough turkey for the neighborhood. (My dog, Maggie, would like to argue this point... we have enough turkey for her... for her only.)

So, Superheroes are all about saving the world. Since today is Turkey Day, I thought we could name some of our real life superheroes and even leave them a message of thanks!

I'll start: I'm thankful for firemen and firewomen who dedicate their lives to saving people from burning buildings. That's always been pretty scary to me so THANK YOU FIREPEOPLE!

Hi guys. I need help. I am supposed to deliver a speech to schoolchildren (11-14 y.o.) addressing the issue of .... fanfiction.

(The school invites speakers to address different issues - from waste disposal to journalism, you name it - then answer the kid's questions.)

Now, I have my experience to rely on and plenty things to say, but there is something I don't know. Maybe there is somebody who does.

When did modern fanfiction (the on line one) started becoming a big thing? I discovered it in 2009, but I think it is quite older.

For instance, when was fan fiction net created?

I understand that the books that have generated the most fanfiction are the Harry Potter ones, but possibly there were others before. Doctor Who?

Any kind of info that will allow for me to give an idea of the phenomenon is welcome. I'll be threading an unbeaten path here. Since fan fiction sites are mostly in Englsh and our kids (and Italians in general) don't read a lot, and certainly not in English, very few people (young and old) know that fanfiction exists.

Well, OK, anything useful you tell me I'll be grateful.
