I'm looking for a copy of Beloved by VampireNits, if anyone has it. I've got a few requests out, but it's pretty important to me to see with my own eyes, so I'm asking around everywhere. I appreciate any help anyone can give.

For your time, I offer Boxing Out by MeilleurCafe/SerendipitousMC, because this story is on my mind and I love all the tiny details in every update. She's such a careful writer - something I aspire to be.

ETA: Turns out she did post my story as her own, but it's since been taken down. She is distributing PDFs of all "her" stories, so other authors may want to see if titles are familiar and request copies for comparison. Also, there's a published book involved. Haven't looked at it, but if she brought over even one reader to buy that book on the basis of "her" stories on FFN... Anyway, grrr.

ETA:  That dark hair dye job is a bad one.  It looks like mine sometimes used to when I'd dye it at home and get the ends darker than the roots.

Also, I cropped the screenshots to make them fit in the post, but the scenery in Norway is gorgeous!

I have no idea where this show is headed.  Plus, I can't believe how good Matthew McConaughhey has become as an actor.  The last I remember, he was a nekked bongo aficianado.  

Is anyone else watching this?  This show is freaking me out, and not just because Esme popped up in episode 5.  I *think* the finale is on tomorrow night, but I'm two episodes behind (I still need to see #6 and #7).  

Also, were Elizabeth Reaser's eyes always really, really close set?  0_o

The infamous HEA is a sticking point for many in Twificland. Some of you may not even dare dip a toe in until you’re guaranteed that all will be right in the end.

So I ask: What does HEA mean to you?

But more importantly: What do you really believe the chances are that your favorites won’t get theirs in a Twific? (No, really.) Why should an author feel pressured to give away their ending? What ever happened to enjoying the journey rather than racing toward the destination?

And while we’re here, let’s discuss this pervasive need for HEAs.

I know the common argument: “Life is stressful; I need my happy escape.” Fair enough. Often I want to slip into a world other than my own. But…don’t you sometimes wonder if the fictitious happy makes our own unhappy suckier in comparison? 

Because ValWaltzing hasn’t hadn't posted any Jamie in nearly a week, and gingers in kilts make all endings better.

It's been a strange week.  I will be indulging in literary therapy this evening.

Friends, are we in a new age of comic brother/sister hood? It seems every time I see the news now its about one TV show or another coming out. There's Gothum on Fox, the new Constantine is being cast, and isn't The Flash going to be a show too?

Are you excited for any of these? Do you think they will meet expectations of the fans and be as good as the likes of Arrow and Agents of SHIELD? And what do you think makes a good superhero show to begin with?
