So, you guys convinced me to see it last night. Husband hated the teen girls audience, that wasn't that quiet, though not 1/100 as crazy and loud as the Twilighted audience. However, unlike Twilight he didn't want to kill himself or me. Maybe he would if the story had more romance and less, much less action, like I wanted. Also, I'm not sure I can handle any more teenage female leading characters. But at least there was some serious eye-candy going on there. Apparently we've given Summit enough money to get gorgeous actors this time. If only this guy had played Edward Cullen. I just knew there was something Greek man looking about Theo James (btw Theo means God bwahahaha). And he hasn't bashed the movie or the book or his character. Would have been much more appealing if there was angst involved (e.g. Tris' rape fears could have made him very anxious about how to proceed). What is it with female Christian (Mormons are Christian, right?) writers vs sex? I for one could never have suspected Stephenie Meyer was actually the most progressive of all three (the Hunger games author included. Hated that movie though).

Haven't decided if I will pony up, or wait.  I got $14 in free Amazon book credit, so I may buy it for my Kindle.  We'll see.  I wasn't a fan of the last book, but I like that she's circling back to the original characters I loved.

You can find a ton of places that list pulled fics for the "vamp" side of the fandom, but I can't find any lists for pulled Team Wolf fics.  I would love it if you guys gave me some titles of pulled wolf fics (canon or all human) featuring J/B or ANY pairing with a wolf character.  (Pulled or pulled to publish)

Also, if you know of any team wolf authors who have completely left the fandom and have pulled all their work, I would be greatly appreciative!

Diving Deep for Fan Fic Treasures

Each week I will brave the treacherous waters of Fan Fiction for buried treasure. Below are the gems I've found this week!

Well folks, we all know the perils of fic diving. This week the waters were rough, and the spoils were few.

Two strangers. One kiss. A new beginning. OOC AH.

This one....I'm torn.  It's based on the viral video of the strangers kissing for the first time that exploded on the web a few weeks ago.  I was totally into the first 4 chapters. Last night, I get the Chapter 5 update to find that she wrapped it all up and marked it complete.  Definitely worth the read, but I am so dying for more.

Angsty, lemony.  Few grammar flubs, but I love the HP world in an adult setting. I might rec more of this if I can find more good stuff. Let me know what you see out there.
