Diving Deep for Fan Fic Treasures

Each week I will brave the treacherous waters of Fan Fiction for buried treasure. Below are the gems I've found this week!

Not sure how this will play out, but I am intrigued. Shy loner Bella is completely infatuated and pretty much a stalker of motorcycle riding, popular Edward. Only 2 chapters in, but I'm curious to see how this progresses.

This is just one chapter in, but I really found it interesting. Lots of diving and photography lingo. No Edward yet, but apparently he owns a horny kangaroo, yet to be seen. I like this one also because I feel like I'll learn some things about cinematography.

Edward is a complete jerk, (so many better words can be used here, but not front page campfire friendly!) at the start of this one. He finds his match in Bella who comes with a few skeletons of her own.  Little angsty.

I read this story just a short while ago. Bella and Edward are best friends, and Edward worked construction over the summer and bulked up. It wasn't a long story, and it wasn't completed. In one of the chapters, Edward and Bella get drunk. Thank you.

I'm pretty much only rooting for Sansa and Cersei these days.

After my recent health scare and despite several financial problems, I decided to book a trip to London with my family. I found relatively cheap tickets (250 euro each with Norwegian Air Shuttle, please tell me it's trusted and not a bus), but of course the minute I paid for them I had my period at 21 days for the first and only time, which means heavy bleeding, migraines and vomiting the minute we'll step foot there. Maybe that's why I had the health scare before. To appreciate that that's nothing compared to having serious, life-threatening issues.

So, anyway, we'll only have three days (full days) there, end of June, beginning of July. Can you please help me on where to go? We'll stay at the Travelodge Covent Garden (central, recently renovated, but they accept animals there?? What if there is animal hair on the sheets and carpet omg??? I didn't notice that before I booked). Me and my husband, two daughters ages 8 and 10.  I'd really appreciate it if you could help me with the following:

1. How good The Lion King really is? It's like 45 pounds per person!!! Is there a more spectacular special effects wise show the kids could go to? They can't understand English that well, so it has to be all more about how spectacular it is. I'd love to take them to the Phantom, but they'll probably freak out and never sleep again.

2. How good Legoland really is? We had wanted to go there because my husband loves Legos (i know..), but with the period messing us up I don't know I could handle it. Would I have easy and quick access to bathrooms? Is it really worth it, the rides, the sights, considering the ages of my daughters?

3. One day we'll go to the Natural History and then The Science Museum, another Sea life and British Museum (kids want to go to Madam Tussaud's but I don't think it's worth it). Should we also do the London Eye? See the changing of the guard outside the palace? We'll def. go go the Tower bridge and Big Ben the night we won't go to a musical. Any other sightseeings that are a must IF we have time to go?

My addiction is now 3D fiber lashes mascara by Younique. I am hooked! I want everyone else to be hooked, too! Like "my own brand of heroine" hooked. (Did I really use that cheesey line???)

I am an eye makeup whore. I only use mascara and eye pigments from Younique now, but brow liners and eye liners are just whatever I try and like. And I cannot live without Lacome's waterproof concealer for under my eyes. Can we say dark circles miracle makeup!?

Hey, campers.

You may have heard mention in the news that April is Autism Awareness month.

In September my nearly three year old nephew Dylan was diagnosed with Autism. He's an incredible kid, and his family has really rallied behind him to make sure they learn how to best help him.

A few weeks into the new year Dylan had his first seizure. His mother was putting him down for a nap with his older sister and when she looked back over at him he was rigid, blue, and shaking lightly. He was taken to the hospital by ambulance, monitored, and sent home. Soon after that he began having more. And more. And more. The seizures increased in frequency despite medications until he was admitted to the hospital for some emergency medications to stop the seizures. He was diagnosed with epilepsy.

One of the medications damaged his liver, made his ammonia levels spike, and sent him into a coma. We were terrified. With more medications they were able to get his ammonia levels down and he woke up. He was sent home after a week in the hospital.

He is still seizing. Just yesterday he had 15 seizures. Fifteen. Much of the progress he'd made after his autism diagnosis is set back, his motor skills are not what they used to be. Dylan used to be able to climb ANYTHING. It was incredible to watch him play.

The doctors say that we may never know why he's having these seizures. The parents are not okay with this answer. Especially since Dylan is STILL having seizures.

My brother-in-law and sister-in-law were able to get him an appointment at the Mayo Clinic, but they are in need of funds. They do have insurance, but it has only covered the first day of the week long hospital visit and they are now looking at travel funds as well.

We are doing a local Pancake Breakfast fundraiser here later this month at a restaurant which donated its kitchen to us before they open, which is incredible and we are so grateful. We are also reaching out to any avenue to help raise money for their growing bills.

I know you don't know me from anyone, but since it's FFA I thought it would be worth a post here.
