I recently discovered this site, with gifs from the movies that I loved. Not a Melissa fan (script sucked), but she did have some nice ideas eg

Fic rec: Turkey baster from Counselor. I used to think I'd tried to read this one but couldn't get into it, but, no, that was probably her Catwoman. The chick writes such relatable E/B angst, but unfortunately she rarely gives us adult characters living in our times.

I'd like to see the summary spruced up for this one, but I like the story so far.  Bella is a contestant on a Bachelor-like show. Dealing with lots of catty skanks and bubble heads, our dear sweet Bella has to fight for her man.  Apparently this is being edited and reposted, but I didn't read the original.

For the Flash Backs, please feel free to expound on my comments because I read some of these forever ago and am hazy on the deets.  I know I enjoyed them at the time, but my mind gets a little jumbled with all the fic floating in there!

One of our fandom's very talented authors has another book coming out this summer. She's featured in a couple of articles which you can read here and here.

I, for one, am thrilled for Sarah's success.  This fandom takes a lot of hits, but we have some real talent here, as you all well know.

Hello my fellow campers!

This is my first Campfire, so I hope I do this right! :-) I absolutely love fanfiction and I love reading everything that is posted here on this site.

I am an Elementary School Teacher from Norway. This fall I will be teaching 5th grade and I would LOVE to create a 'Pen Pal Program' for my students. I have noticed that many of my students need some extra motivation in regards to writing. Especially when it comes to English! I remember being a part of a 'Pen Pal Program' when I was a child and I loved it! So, my question is: Are there any 4th or 5th grade teachers out there who would be interested in creating a Pen Pal Program with me this fall? Do any of you have any advice or experiences with this?

Also a more general question: Have any of you had pen pals when you were younger? What do you remember the most?
