Okay so I'm bored outta my mind right now so my friend I decided to start a list of the best movie quotes ever.

Being that all i do is watch movies my list was quite long

This happens with every single fic. I know that. I'd just like to know, why the Hoboward hate?

Poughkeepsie... I used to really like it at first. I found the story when it had barely 5 chappies up. And it's a what? 70 chapters long story? Anyway, I don't really remember when I stopped liking it.  I don't hate it, I really don't. And, hey, there's NOTHING wrong with hating it-- hell, jennday does! And that's cool, because to each her/his own. But I do think it's a very unreal, very fake story. Hoboward is just a little bit too sweet. A little bit too goody goody.They are always MAKING LOVE. And all they do is have plain 'ole vanilla sex-- 'cause that's just the way Hoboward is-- He would NEVER 'disrespect' her by spicing their fun times a bit (OMG. CAN YOU TELL HOW BIG OF A LOSER AM I?) I know I wouldn't be able to be with someone like that. And I don't know if anyone would, tbh. Yes, we all like our men to be sweet and whatnot, but he's just so.. passive. And I'm not just talking about sex. I mean, he holds her like she's a porcelain doll and it just baffles my mind! Isn't love supposed to be fierce? I wouldn't want my boyfriend to just.. be there, acting like I might break in any second. I mean, I love it when my boyfriend acts a bit rough because he's just so overcome with emotion, he just wants to be with me, right there, righ then, and he just doesn't give a damn about anything else? kwim? That would never happen in that story. It's like it lacks... passion. 

This is, of course, just my humble opinion. 

I'll stop writing now. This post shouldn't be about me at all. lol.

Ok...I need to discuss my love for Jacob right now.  I have loved Jacob from the first time I read the series.  I really didn't think seeing his pain on screen would affect me so bad.  But, it did.  

I didn't cry when Edward left.  Not during the book and not during the movie.  I did cry when she left Jacob hanging in that truck, I did cry when she left him in the woods after kissing him in Eclipse and I cried when she left him in pain and heartbroken in the bed after he was attacked in Eclipse.  

I think the reason I love Jacob so much is because for me, Jacob is the reality. Edward is the fantasy.  The fantasy is too good to be true. Don't get me wrong.  I love Edward but I there is just something about Jacob and his character that just grabs at my heart.  And I don't think making Jacob imprint on E/B's daughter made up for the fact that he got jerked around for 3 books.  

Are any of the campers with me?  Confess your Jacob love to me...

I would feel better about my swooning of Jacob if this man would have been casted...

I think this is how Jacob feels after Bella leaves him cold...

So, it's Sunday night...NM broke some records (well at least one that I know of over the weekend), I watched a midnight showing for the first time in my life and I flew 4 hours to do it...so a few firsts.

Do stories have to be well researched for you?

If it's set in a different time periods? What if the story is set in a place that the writer clearly is not from- is a minimal knowledge of the area w/some mistakes ok, or should they put more effort?

There's a story that comes to mind and I've seen discussed (quite passionately) because it may have some historical/geographical errors. It's called Volition and it's about Belfast and the IRA. I've never read it, but I thought the issues brought up were interesting. Should ff writers deal with issues like this- when some many have been affected and could possibly be offended?

Can you suspend your disbelief? What if it deals with something that hits closer to home? ( Twifanfic about 911, anyone?)

I know, for me, that if a ff talks about New Orleans I go on hyper bitch mode. Especially if it mentions Katrina. This hasn't happened in this fandom really, but I was recc'ed a story where Snape and Harry worked for hurricane relief...  :0
