...there was a scene in "New Moon" where Bella wears the exact same Nike sneakers that Rob is usually wearing in real-life photos?  (It's the black pair with the white Nike slash logo on the sides.)  I think I saw this in the scene where Bella confronts Jacob in the rain at his house, after he's been avoiding her due to the whole now-I'm-a-wolf-so-we-can't-hang-anymore thing.

We've all heard that Robert Pattinson doesn't change his clothes more than once a week and is kind of smelly (just Google "Robert Pattinson smells" if you don't believe us), but it turns out it's all a strategic move to foil the paparazzi, as we learned at the Cinema Society and D&G-hosted New Moon premiere on Thursday.

Nurse Jackie star Peter Facinelli, who plays Robert Pattinson’s father in the Twilight movies, takes credit (blame) for Robert Pattinson’s rumored body odor problem. “He’s smart, because if he doesn’t changes his clothes and the paparazzi get pictures of him in the same outfit all the time, then they can’t sell the pictures,” Facinelli told us at Thursday's Cinema Society screening of Twilight Saga: New Moon. “That’s what I said he should do; I said, ‘You should not change your clothes, this way, how are they going to sell the picture of you in the same outfit all the time, because it will look like it was from the same batch.’” Father knows best.

Pattinson’s co-stars deal with the issue in their own ways. The lovely Ashley Greene, who plays Pattinson’s sister Alice Cullen, tries to avoid breathing when in his presence. “You know what, I think maybe out of a defense mechanism, I don’t sniff him,” she said, laughing. Kellan Lutz, who plays brother Emmett Cullen, admires how Pattinson still looks great, even in musty attire. “He’s got a great style. I wish I could pull off the easiness that he does,” Lutz told us. And director Chris Weitz is actually grateful that Facinelli gave R-Patz the sage advice. “I can smell him coming, that’s the nice thing,” Weitz explained.

The end of the New Moon promotional juggernaut was clearly not the end of the road for the romance between co-stars Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson. The pair may have finished with their media obligations, but they certainly haven’t gone their separate ways and are still together as the holidays draw near.

On Sunday night, R-Pattz and K.Stew enjoyed a dinner with friends at hotspot Megu in Manhattan’s chic TriBeCa neighborhood. This is the first time the two had been spotted together in public since New Moon’s New York screenings late last week.

The Japanese restaurant — a favorite for Big Apple celebs — stayed open late for the crowd of about eight to enjoy themselves.

“You could tell they were having a little party,” one onlooker tells OK! about the dinner. “Probably to celebrate the end of the grueling promotion tour.”

According to those inside the restaurant, Rob — sporting a wool hat — and Kristen — wearing a yellow dress — sat at opposite ends of a long table, which was described as “kind of a mess” by some who spotted the Twilight stars.

“There were a load of bottles on it,” says a witness. “They’d obviously been there quite some time. The waiters were still delivering things to the table an hour after the kitchen was supposed to have closed.”

The late night seemed to be a drain on the teenage actress. “Kristen looked exhausted and was resting her head on her hand with her elbow on the table,” the onlooker tells OK!, adding that Rob popped outside midway through the meal for a cigarette with a male friend.

The dinner party finally split up around 12:30 a.m., with Rob and Kristen being picked up by their drivers and the rest of the group pounding the NYC pavement.

 I couldn't resist a lame pun. This whole forest/campfire setup is just so catching.

I know we all get bogged down in negativity sometime. Between protests of clique-iness, personal attacks, unoriginal stories, and a significant feeling of disillusionment among many fandom members, I wanted to bring back some positives.

We all came together over one thing...and that's Twilight.

I want to urge everyone here at A Different Forest to come together again and list just ONE thing about the fandom that makes you proud to be a part of it, makes you smile, swell with pride, or even tear up a bit.

That's all I'm asking for, just one positive. But if everyone lists one positive, think of how many wonderful things about the fandom we'll have to remember and remind us of why we're here together.

I'm not trying to singlehandedly cure all the fandom's issues, but I think we could all use a few more positive thoughts in our lives!

This happens with every single fic. I know that. I'd just like to know, why the Hoboward hate?

Poughkeepsie... I used to really like it at first. I found the story when it had barely 5 chappies up. And it's a what? 70 chapters long story? Anyway, I don't really remember when I stopped liking it.  I don't hate it, I really don't. And, hey, there's NOTHING wrong with hating it-- hell, jennday does! And that's cool, because to each her/his own. But I do think it's a very unreal, very fake story. Hoboward is just a little bit too sweet. A little bit too goody goody.They are always MAKING LOVE. And all they do is have plain 'ole vanilla sex-- 'cause that's just the way Hoboward is-- He would NEVER 'disrespect' her by spicing their fun times a bit (OMG. CAN YOU TELL HOW BIG OF A LOSER AM I?) I know I wouldn't be able to be with someone like that. And I don't know if anyone would, tbh. Yes, we all like our men to be sweet and whatnot, but he's just so.. passive. And I'm not just talking about sex. I mean, he holds her like she's a porcelain doll and it just baffles my mind! Isn't love supposed to be fierce? I wouldn't want my boyfriend to just.. be there, acting like I might break in any second. I mean, I love it when my boyfriend acts a bit rough because he's just so overcome with emotion, he just wants to be with me, right there, righ then, and he just doesn't give a damn about anything else? kwim? That would never happen in that story. It's like it lacks... passion. 

This is, of course, just my humble opinion. 

I'll stop writing now. This post shouldn't be about me at all. lol.

Ok...I need to discuss my love for Jacob right now.  I have loved Jacob from the first time I read the series.  I really didn't think seeing his pain on screen would affect me so bad.  But, it did.  

I didn't cry when Edward left.  Not during the book and not during the movie.  I did cry when she left Jacob hanging in that truck, I did cry when she left him in the woods after kissing him in Eclipse and I cried when she left him in pain and heartbroken in the bed after he was attacked in Eclipse.  

I think the reason I love Jacob so much is because for me, Jacob is the reality. Edward is the fantasy.  The fantasy is too good to be true. Don't get me wrong.  I love Edward but I there is just something about Jacob and his character that just grabs at my heart.  And I don't think making Jacob imprint on E/B's daughter made up for the fact that he got jerked around for 3 books.  

Are any of the campers with me?  Confess your Jacob love to me...

I would feel better about my swooning of Jacob if this man would have been casted...

So, it's Sunday night...NM broke some records (well at least one that I know of over the weekend), I watched a midnight showing for the first time in my life and I flew 4 hours to do it...so a few firsts.
