Soooo...this is my first post ever. I have been reading ff for over a year now and have been lurking on ADF for a month now but I felt it was time to say something...

I'm currently sitting on my boyfriend's bed reading ff while him and his friend play "Call of Duty," and my boyfriend all of the sudden decides to finally notice me with my eyes glued to the computer screen (mind you I've read ff a lot around him) and he was curious to know what I was doing. I tried very hard to explain to him exactly what ff was without sounding completely psychotic. After I told him what it was he called me a weirdo and I told him to suck it. I AM NOT ASHAMED OF MY FANFICTION ADDICTION:)

I was just wondering (if anyone is open with their ff addiction) how you would describe it to someone, or if there is a different way you could explain it to someone other than saying "I'm reading stories written by people who use the characters of "Twilight", but mainly have nothing to do with the plot of "Twilight" whatsoever..OH... and it completely consumes my life... just sayin.

Anyhow, I started reading Roseward months and months ago.  If you know me at all you know  I hate canon I appreciate any well written story.  And the best part about Roseward is that I dont have to worry about too many cliches (ie insecure Bella, selfish Bella etc. because Rose is too bold to play around)

Since it has been so rainy and cold over here in the west coast area, I have been reading ff. (go figure) and I have notice in TONS of stories that Bella, Rose and even Alice always seem to wear Yoga pants around the house. I don't even won a pair of Yoga pants much less actually do Yoga. (I tried it wasn't pretty)

so my questions to you is... What is your favorite comfy clothes? Do you wear Yoga Pants? AND What things have you found common in stories you have read?

I'm in need of a beta for my new story. Short summary: Bella is a little bit fat and one night, she meets Edward. It's the story of their relationship. There won't be any angst or drama. It's just the story of two people and how they make their way toward love. It'll be a short story: from 5 to 10 chapters tops. It's entitled: The Beautiful and the Damned.

I'd really love someone who is an author herself as I'd love to bounce some ideas for future chapters. I've alredy written the 1st chapter.
