I am looking for fics where Edward uses one of these things.  Yes, that's right, I want to read an Edward with a disability fanfic, but not of the mental variety. So he can be 8 - 80, blind or crippled, but NOT crazy...got it? Deafward would be ok too.

And for the love of cheese, please make it something you actually enjoyed reading (no throw aways please). I'm just in the mood for something different and I have seen a few Bella with a disability fics, but very few Edwards. They gotta be out there somewhere, right?

I was just reading the most recent "Can you help me find this fic?" post and had an idea.  What if someone just blurted out some random plot that COULD be a fanfic but that they had never seen done as a fanfic? Has someone actually written that plot, no matter how implausible, in the fandom?

Ex: Bella decides that she'll stay human because Edward emotionally blackmailed her using HIS SOUL as reason for her to stay human and keep HER SOUL.  She does it and they're both HAPPY.

Let me tell you a story.

Today I went out with my girlfriend, as I'm visiting her for the first time since last July. Our first stop was for lunch at Olive Garden, where we ate with FORKS.

And then we went to Kohl's where there was some nice dinnerware (that I bought) with WOLVES on it.

Next we hurried over to take pictures to commemorate our day together, and saw a variety of crappy nature backgrounds for us to stand in front of, including a TWILIGHT sky.

After that we walked by a travel agency where there were advertisments for RIO in Brazil.

And then we saw an "I Heart JACOB" shirt in a store window.

Finally, we saw a little girl with short black hair wearing entirely too much GLITTERING makeup on her face, looking like ALICE.

You know how you start thinking about the stories you have read and suddenly realize that you haven't seen one updated in awhile?  Well, ok, I thought that I could just go to my favorites and half of my stories were missing!  Not sure what is up with that.  Anyway, I am hoping that someone here will be able to help me.  The story revolved around Bella and Edward.  They were lifelong best friends doing everything together.  At some point, Edward decides he is in love with Tanya, but she is with Jake.  Jake is now interested in Bella, so they decide to swap girls.  Jake woes Bella and Edward realizes what a skank Tanya is and acknowledges his feelings for Bella.  She gets upset, Jake and Edward fight, Bella winds up in the hospital........and?

Ok, so I'm a campfire virgin, not really sure what to do, so I thought I'd start with saying hello!

Hello!

So I feel like an idiot, I tried to join with the like second chapter of Dear Isabella, but I of course did something wrong, and never got my conformation E-Mail. So, how ever many weeks later, and with an older E-mail account here I am!! Woo! Yeah, I don't feel like an idiot or anything..

And now I kinda feel like I'm talking to myself.. hmmm..

Anyyyyways.. Work has been uber hectic, what with starting a new job and all, and going back to school, that I definitely need a break. And what better place to have a break with others who are looking for their E/Em/J. Please tell me when you find him, cause for real, I'm thinking he isn't really out there. And yes I say he, cause I need a combo of all three. Not just one. So call me picky. I want it! :)

I mean, think about it, what would be hotter than a combo of all three personalities, Emmett's body, Jasper's accent, and Edward's hair and of course human green eyes? 

Nothing! Thats what!

Ok, now I officially feel like an idiot! ah well, it's whatever! Being sleep deprived does that to you!

On to the main reason I decided to have my own little weenie roast, *giggles*

What are your favorite stories? I'm not picky, I just love to read and escape my life, who doesn't? And I can read these stories on my iPhone which rocks, and is one of the main reasons I have it! haha. :) I love to read, but I'm out of books. Not that that really matters, there are sooo many great writers out there, on FF and LJ and others, that it's almost a shame to pick up a book without reading everyones. Like the lovely ladies of the Forest. Dear Isabella (up to the chapters I've read, don't give anything away please!) is like a beautiful train wreck to me. I don't know what's going to happen. But I love it, and I have my guesses, and I'm scared to continue reading (I get real sucked into books, I swear if I were a vampire I'd be an empath) but I can't stop. It's beautifully written, and the way it jumps from present to past to give you little tastes at a time is brilliant and usually doesn't flow well, but it does and I love it! Ahhhh! I'm gunna go read it now!!

By the way.. I was not meaning anything bad by the beautiful train wreck comment. I absolutely love the story, it's just the only way I could describe how you know that it's not going to be all pretty, but you can't look away because you just have to know.

anyways, buttons' earlier post about published fics got me thinking......how many of you twilight fic writers also compose your own original fiction?  is it something you're serious about, or is it just for fun?  does it hold a special part of your heart, far away from fanfiction?

i wanna know...tell me all about it!

as for me...i've been working on my own original fiction for about a year and a half now.  i've thrown it away and restarted it and cried over it and smiled at it and even screamed at it.  but it's my baby, and i love it despite it all.  i don't know if i'm serious about it--for now it's just for the sense of accomplishment.  but who knows.  maybe i'll make something of it.

* We have a population of 22 million, most of those people living on the Eastern seaboard (Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne). SO STOP FUCKING ASKING IF WE KNOW RUSSELL CROWE OR DANIEL JOHNS.

* We don't own Kangaroos. Actually there are Kangaroos close to urban settings but it's not like they are hopping down the middle of George Street, Sydney.

* We don't fuck around. We will tell you why you suck and then buy you a beer. Unlike other countries who sit around and cry, and bitch bitch bitch whine whine whine.

* We are the most fuckawesome at Cricket and Rugby. Don't listen to the English or the New Zealanders.

* While Australia was officially "discovered" in 1788, we had been visited by the Dutch 150 years before that, and we were inhabited by Aboriginal people 40, 000 prior to European settlement - a strong race of people who still thrive to this day (hem hem ;))

- the metro in Paris

- French people always complain about everything and are depressed way too often
