I want to talk Twi-fashion.  I've been staring/drooling over these newly/strategically leaked Eclipse pics and I noticed Bella's sense of style is a lot better in the movies than in the books.  When I first read the series and then later in fics, it seemed to me a great deal of detail went into describing the clothing the characters wore.  It gives a certain ambiance to the characterizations and simultaneously, you can get a generic feel for the personality being portrayed through what the character is wearing. 

For example...Bella can be a drip, as indicated by the floor length khaki skirt she wears to the meet the Cullens for the first time. 

Also, you can purchase pieces of the characters' wardrobes, like Bella's jacket from the Twilight or her birthday dress from New Moon as well as various other accessories, like the Cullen or Volturi Crest jewelry...

So darling campers, what do you think? 

Do clothing descriptions add to or take away from a story?

Are there any outfits that an author has put their characters in that you love or hate?  Do you even read these descriptions or are they just word vomit filler?

Do you like that pic of Edward almost touching Bella's boobies??   I mean, her plaid flannel shirt...do you like her new, trendier wardrobe?

Do you like the look of the movies as compared to the books???  Do any of you own any Twilight inspired clothing, like Bella's jacket or birthday dress??

Will Breaking Dawn Break The Third Dimension?

Fully embracing the current “Why the hell not” mentality of needlessly adding a third dimension to your film, Summit Entertainment has set its sights on putting tousled hair and throbbing abs in your face in the final installment(s) of the Twilight Saga, according toTHR. 

And why wouldn't they, really? It doesn't matter what format they release the movie in, it's still going to draw legions of whiny teeny boppers and Twilightmoms looking for an escape from their own boring ass lives. It only makes sense that they'd find a way to charge even more for the millions of tickets they're guaranteed to sell. And with a built in audience as large as it is, Twihards may push the box officereceipts of a 3D Breaking Dawn up into the top tier, among the likes of Avatar or The Dark Knight.

The decision to shoot in 3D, as well as split the film in two, must be made soon if they want to meet their production deadlines. However, everything must first be approved the Mormontastic author Stephenie Meyer, whose contract has her holding all the cards at all times. Again, why wouldn't she go for it? One decision lets her story be better told (which should be most important), and both decisions put wads and wads more cash into her bank account. These choices seem like a win-win for everyone in this instance, except for people like me who oppose 3D even at the best of times. 

Since both of these proposals will have Meyer swimming in even more cash in her Scrooge McDuck style vault, look for 3D two-part Breaking Dawn confirmation very, very soon. I'm interested to know what our Twilight fan readers have to say about this idea. So if you're legitimately a fan of this series, in book or film form, sound off in the comments below.

So, I'm bored and aimlessly trying to find something to keep me occupied with on teh internet.

Suddenly, I start to remember about a story I wrote seven years ago and published on a site. Curious, I do a little investigating and finally stumble upon it. After reading this horribly lame spew of words I concocted, I'm astounded when I read through the 63 reviews and see people cheering me on and claiming the ff was "totally amazing".

*floor thud*

I am waaaaaaay too embarrassed to mention what fandom this pertains to, but will go on a limb and say it is anime-related. My writing was truly atrocious, and I can't believe people were begging me not to stop.

I know we all have to start somewhere with our writing, but daaaammmn was that a humiliating trip down memory lane. Does anyone else have any other epic fail experiences like this from previous fandoms?

I've had so many people say they love my new icon and they can't stop staring at it. The widespread boy kissing love just makes me happy. So, because I do love us, and I need a little cheering up, I made larger versions of that scene.

Reading all the lovely, beautiful, SMUTTY fanfic....does it ever make you feel lonely?

I read a ton of fanfic and I am just amazed sometimes at how quickly love finds these characters.  I read E/B, AH fics mostly and it is always Edward just laying eyes on Bella and becoming mesmerized with her! DOES THAT HAPPEN IN REAL LIFE?

I am gonna admit...I day dream at bars hoping somebody will look at me the way Edward looks at Bella for the first time in fics.  Does anybody think our habit may be toxic? Reading happily ever afters all the time jading?  Please let me know your thoughts.

I was chatting with a friend over on Twitter (I'm Nolebucgrl over there as well if you wanna come and say hi) and she wondered if there were any good VM fics that spun out of season 3 and gave any kind of Logan/Veronica resolution.  I looked at ff.net and there are just under 3000 fics there and I only found one that had a number of reviews (not that that means anything but I like to read a fic that other people at least have read, ya know?)  Has anybody ever read any VM fic and do you have any recs?
