'Twilight' actor Robert Pattinson to play Kurt Cobain in Hollywood biopic

BRITISH actor Robert Pattinson is to play US rock legend Kurt Cobain in a Hollywood biopic.

The Twilight star is said to have always thought of himself as a musician rather than an actor so securing a part playing the Nirvana lead singer, who shot himself in 1994, is ideal for him, The Sun reports.

Pattinson, 23, has been in regular contact with Cobain’s widow Courtney Love, who has been handed a key role in the production by bosses at Universal Pictures.

The singer wanted Pattinson as Cobain and Scarlett Johansson, 25, to portray her.

A source said: "This is a big money deal for Courtney.

"She has agreed to the film on condition that she gets to decide the main aspects of the project including director, casting, screenplay and music.

"Robert has been calling and emailing her non-stop. She has been a bit wound up by his manners, but he is her number one choice to play Kurt.

"She is adamant Scarlett will play her. Scarlett is friendly with Frances Bean, her daughter with Kurt."

Love, 45, has been in touch with director David Fincher about the project, which has the working title All Apologies.

He was behind Fight Club, Se7en and The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.

It's not the first time a studio have tried to make a film about Nirvana, who had hits with Come As You Are and Smells Like Teen Spirit.

A few years ago Sony Pictures were disapproved by Love when they floated the idea of High School Musical actor Zac Efron, 22, as Cobain, while Frances Bean, 17, would play her mum.

Lets talk about Vampire Diaries.

This is one of my Fav Shows.

Maybe it has something to do with the Vamps but I think it has more to do with the Super hot Actors and actresses (yeah I think Nina Dobrev is hot. I've been watching her since Degrassi (which I still watch)).

Truth be told i'm not really into the whole supernatural when reading books I.E. Harry Potter. I was given the Night world Series and I couldnt really get into it. Twilight is most likely the only supernatural book I think I will ever be into.

Anyways... Back on track.

Vampire Diaries is really good and the acting is also good. V.D is somewhere between Twilight and True Blood. You Don't see Tits but you know they're having sex.

So Let's discuss, What are your thoughts? Maybe you dislike something, What is it? What are you loving?

Is it just me or does Elena, Matt, And Stefan sorta remind you of The Twilight Love Triangle.

It's understood that Matt still loves Elena, and maybe even Elena still loves him but the love for him doesnt compare to the love for Stefan. Just me? Maybe.

& How bad do you feel for Caroline? My heart breaks for her. As much as Matt tries to convice her he's into her totally, you yourself aren't even sure.

I kind of wanna cry for her because it sucks to feel like someones second choice. And Candice Accola(who else noticed she's the bitchy Lab partner from Juno?) plays the character very well, you actually believe she's going through it.

So I am going through a break up right now with my boyfriend who I have been dating for 8 years since I was 19. To say I am depressed and feeling alone is an understatement. I need some cheering up big time. So...

As some of you know, I took a part time job teaching music, dance and yoga to little kids at a Montessori School this year. Each year, the school puts on an Academic Fair and every teacher, even the music teacher, has to come up with a project to do. This year, the topic for the fair is Geography. I was pretty much clueless for a long time until the lovely Demons4eva sent me a postcard from Australia. 

I brought it to school and the kids LOVED it. They loved the stamps and the picture. They loved looking it up on a map and calculating how fair that it traveled. As we were looking, I thought I HAVE MY IDEA FOR THE GEOGRAPHY FAIR!

There is no greater place than right here than to find people to help me with geography! Not only that, this project could be really interesting for EVERYONE HERE AT ADF AS WELL!

What is it? I want to collect post cards from as many people and places as possible. Each post card will have a simple "Greetings from _____" and signed with your REAL first name. (I don't want to be explaining pen-names to six years olds after all!)

As the post cards come in, I will take pictures of them and post them right here on ADF, along with the map that we are charting them on. This way, you can see that we got it and what we did with it and ADF can see where everyone comes from since this is the only place I will be asking for help!

Sooo, I do admit that I enjoy a story where something happens that in real life the other party would probably never forgive. Cheating be one of these. The best fic to do this being Comeuppance by Goldenmeadow.

I sometimes look for more....what do I always find? A cheating Edward. Always. I've seen like two where it's the other way around. My question is; why? I get this once in a while but really? It's ALWAYS Edward.

Why?

I mean, in canon, who would have been the most likely cheater? I'd say Bella.

I'm sure half of you have read/written a cheating Edward, and I guess it somewhat goes with Edward being the badass or something....but why? While we're at it, maybe we wanna figure out why we like cheating stories that end up alright in the first place, because I don't understand why I find them so appealing.

P.S. If we can also give some recs with a cheating Bella...that would be awesome.

 Update: This confirms my suspicions....I need to write an AH cheating Bella that's somewhat IC.

So I'm watching The Vampire Diaries and I really don't want to but I can't help but compare Elena to Bella and it's funny for me to see how different they are (though Elena acted heavily like Bella in tonight's episode)

So. My mom and I were driving to the mall tonight and she wanted to 'talk' to me.

She wanted to know if I had any secrets I wanted to share with her. "Such as...?" says I. "Well, you know, do you work for the porn industry?"

I had to explain to my mother - even though I'm 33 - that I betaread fan fiction. What she saw was my email to one of the authors I beta for...and the 'genius' from whose loins I magically sprang forth put 'two and two' together, and now I work in the porn industry.

I've been a super sad panda these last 5-6 months b/c I've been without my beloved photoshop (my ancient computer finally bit the dust).  But I squee'd with delight last week when my awesome husband came home with a new laptop, and I've been on a banner making spree ever since.

So I was sitting here thinking about how much I would like to get some news about the Eclipse soundtrack.  Then I got to thinking...

Who would you like to see on the soundtrack?

Is there a song that you know of that you think would fit well in the movie?  Perhaps one that you think of while reading the books?

Did you like the Twilight and New Moon soundtracks?  If yes, what's your favorite song?

As for me.............I really am hoping that somehow Muse will be on the Eclipse soundtrack.  I saw one news story that said they wouldn't be, and then another one later that said they were.  I loved both the Twilight & New Moon soundtracks.  Eyes on Fire and Supermassive Blackhole are tied for my favorite on the Twilight soundtrack.  Roslyn, Friends and Hearing Damage are all tied for my favorite on the New Moon soundtrack.

So, I've been missing from the forest for awhile because my grandmother, who I was extremely close to, passed away last week. I'm beginning to try to get back to my normal life pattern, which requires massive amounts of fic, but I usually read angst.TBH, I can't take the angst right now. It's too much for my poor heart.

Which is why I need the help of the forest - I need some fluffy fics. Lots of happiness and love and butterflies, 'kay? I can't think of anyone better to find good recs than you guys, so have at it.
