So I'm thinking of introducing my friend into the world of Twilight Fanfiction. She is already an obsessed fan, I mean like obsessively obsessed. She has New Moon bed covers.

Anway so I thought if she's that obsessed why don't I introduce her to Twific. She loves reading and this is just the next step.

I want to know if you guys have introduced any of your friends to Fanfiction and what was their reaction? What story would be a great way to start? Should it be canon, AU or AH?

Feedback would be real nice :D

Today I was given tickets to see 30 Seconds to Mars by a local radio station.
I didn't win a contest or anything, they just gave them to me all because I was giving them some feedback on how I noticed there were issues with their text-to-win system.

These guys are me heroes.
 

So what I want from you guys is your story about something you were given. Whether you won a contest or it was just some random act of kindness, I want to know about it.

Today my roommate and I were watching an episode of Man vs. Wild where Bear Grylls ate TESTICLES!!! so we started talking about disgusting food.

We found out that her definition of disgusting and mine are very different.

When I told her that I hade eaten blood sausage before and actually liked it she looked at me like I was insane!!! 

When I told her that a PB&J sandwich was more disgusting than blood sausage she got up and left!

So I want to know what do you eat that would gross most people out?

No I'm not interested in knowing how you maintain your Lady bits, unless you wanna share I guess, I wanna know what hair products you use and your body soap & if you wash your face with a cleanser list that too. Also maybe give a brief description of that product if theres a specific reason you use what you use. (did that make sense?)

Ok here are mine:

Hair: Dove Intense Damage therapy Shampoo and Conditioner. I have the salon pump

- I've been dying my hair for years ,even though i'm only 17, Last April I wanted to dye it platinum blonde but my hair was red before so the drugstore product totally messed it up, so I paid $200 to have my hair stripped and fixed and that did lots of damage, plus I got a perm 2 halloweens ago, so you can imagine all the shit my poor hair has gone through, Well I decided to stop coloring it last august. I dyed it one last time to some semblance of my natural Dirty blonde hair color and said thats it. Well the color has faded but it still looks ok. Anyways this product does wonders for my hair, I love it so much. It smells wonderful (always a plus) and it makes my hair feel and look totally healthy.

Body Soap:Olay Creme Ribbons It smells yummy and gives my skin lots of moisture, you can imagine my dry skin after living in hot ass austin tx and getting sun burn.

Face wash:L'oreal Paris Skin Genesis Pore Minimizing Gel Cleanser

I love this stuff, its a good makeup remover but also makes my face feel soft

I  can proudly say that I am a sugar addict...I am seriously surprised I am not diabetic because of it...I can eat a 3 pound bag of candy in a day and a half..so woodland creatures and rangers what sweets do you crave...I tend to go for the sweet stuff more than the chocolatey stuff...

'Twilight' actor Robert Pattinson to play Kurt Cobain in Hollywood biopic

BRITISH actor Robert Pattinson is to play US rock legend Kurt Cobain in a Hollywood biopic.

The Twilight star is said to have always thought of himself as a musician rather than an actor so securing a part playing the Nirvana lead singer, who shot himself in 1994, is ideal for him, The Sun reports.

Pattinson, 23, has been in regular contact with Cobain’s widow Courtney Love, who has been handed a key role in the production by bosses at Universal Pictures.

The singer wanted Pattinson as Cobain and Scarlett Johansson, 25, to portray her.

A source said: "This is a big money deal for Courtney.

"She has agreed to the film on condition that she gets to decide the main aspects of the project including director, casting, screenplay and music.

"Robert has been calling and emailing her non-stop. She has been a bit wound up by his manners, but he is her number one choice to play Kurt.

"She is adamant Scarlett will play her. Scarlett is friendly with Frances Bean, her daughter with Kurt."

Love, 45, has been in touch with director David Fincher about the project, which has the working title All Apologies.

He was behind Fight Club, Se7en and The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.

It's not the first time a studio have tried to make a film about Nirvana, who had hits with Come As You Are and Smells Like Teen Spirit.

A few years ago Sony Pictures were disapproved by Love when they floated the idea of High School Musical actor Zac Efron, 22, as Cobain, while Frances Bean, 17, would play her mum.

Lets talk about Vampire Diaries.

This is one of my Fav Shows.

Maybe it has something to do with the Vamps but I think it has more to do with the Super hot Actors and actresses (yeah I think Nina Dobrev is hot. I've been watching her since Degrassi (which I still watch)).

Truth be told i'm not really into the whole supernatural when reading books I.E. Harry Potter. I was given the Night world Series and I couldnt really get into it. Twilight is most likely the only supernatural book I think I will ever be into.

Anyways... Back on track.

Vampire Diaries is really good and the acting is also good. V.D is somewhere between Twilight and True Blood. You Don't see Tits but you know they're having sex.

So Let's discuss, What are your thoughts? Maybe you dislike something, What is it? What are you loving?

Is it just me or does Elena, Matt, And Stefan sorta remind you of The Twilight Love Triangle.

It's understood that Matt still loves Elena, and maybe even Elena still loves him but the love for him doesnt compare to the love for Stefan. Just me? Maybe.

& How bad do you feel for Caroline? My heart breaks for her. As much as Matt tries to convice her he's into her totally, you yourself aren't even sure.

I kind of wanna cry for her because it sucks to feel like someones second choice. And Candice Accola(who else noticed she's the bitchy Lab partner from Juno?) plays the character very well, you actually believe she's going through it.

So I am going through a break up right now with my boyfriend who I have been dating for 8 years since I was 19. To say I am depressed and feeling alone is an understatement. I need some cheering up big time. So...

Can anyone rec me some funny fics? It can be romantic but I want humor. Think Edward Wallbanger and Frenemies. Stuff like that. Pretty please, I need something to take my mind off how alone I feel right now. :(

As some of you know, I took a part time job teaching music, dance and yoga to little kids at a Montessori School this year. Each year, the school puts on an Academic Fair and every teacher, even the music teacher, has to come up with a project to do. This year, the topic for the fair is Geography. I was pretty much clueless for a long time until the lovely Demons4eva sent me a postcard from Australia. 

I brought it to school and the kids LOVED it. They loved the stamps and the picture. They loved looking it up on a map and calculating how fair that it traveled. As we were looking, I thought I HAVE MY IDEA FOR THE GEOGRAPHY FAIR!

There is no greater place than right here than to find people to help me with geography! Not only that, this project could be really interesting for EVERYONE HERE AT ADF AS WELL!

What is it? I want to collect post cards from as many people and places as possible. Each post card will have a simple "Greetings from _____" and signed with your REAL first name. (I don't want to be explaining pen-names to six years olds after all!)

As the post cards come in, I will take pictures of them and post them right here on ADF, along with the map that we are charting them on. This way, you can see that we got it and what we did with it and ADF can see where everyone comes from since this is the only place I will be asking for help!
