In TWILIGHT, Edward asks Bella a bunch of questions to get to know her because he can't read her mind, and his curiosity is therefore insatiable.

So, aside from "What's your favorite color?" which SM let us in on, what other questions do you think he asked her?

I would have asked her if she'd ever done anything rebellious and ended up grounded or in detention at school.

What did he ask? What would you ask? My favorite color is green.

COME ON!

What is it exactly about RPFs that people find so taboo and/or offensive? Almost every author I've spoken with about them has a serious dislike of them. Why? I'm the writer of an RPF so I'd just like to know for my own sake.  Any insight into this would be greatly appreciated!

I've posted a bit, but this is the first campire I've started. Hi, all.

So maybe reality is a ludicrous concept when we're talking fan fic based on a story about vampires, and many of said fics include vampires, but bear with me.....

Does it bother you when parts of a fic are impossible or in some way inaccurate... besides the appearance of the vampires?  Like with the main characters, do you have a problem with Alice and Edward's gifts being intact in an AH story?  It doesn't bother me for some reason that Edward can read Bella's mind in TB&TC, but I read another fic where Alice was psychic, and it did bother me, because it seemed to be there as nothing more than plot convenience.

Moving away from the characters, what about other details?  Is it a problem for you when the writer thinks you can drive from Chicago to Forks in less than a day?  Mapquest says this takes 34 hours.  Does it bother you when someone in the story can easily commute from Forks to Seattle for work or school each day?  Mapquest says this drive is 3 1/2 hours -- one way.

Does it bother you when a 9-months pregnant woman is allowed to fly?  Or a trial is moved OUT OF STATE due to the publicity?  Does it matter if it's a relatively unimportant detail in the story, or if it's a major plot point? 

If you're a writer, would you appreciate a review that pointed out inaccuracies?  Or since none of this is real, would you be offended by being corrected?  Am I completely OCD to want everything in the storyline to be plausible, except for the vamps, of couse?

I get so tickled when I see people I know on TV, even if I see Kristen Or Rob on a movie.

I'm like Oh! Oh! I know them.

I know its so corny and dumb but I can't help it.

A lot of my friends have been interviewed by the local news if ever something goes on and they are there. Or the high school I went to before I started home school had a fine arts program and they were constantly holding fashion shows and such.

Also that movie BandSlam was filmed in my old High School, McCallum, and a good number of my peers were extras.

So I wanna know if you've ever been on TV or a friend of yours has.

I have, I did a documentary for TLC a few years back at that damn thing is still haunting me, I cringe whenever it comes on or someone asks me "Aren't you that girl from that show?" It painted me in such a bad light, and even I think I look bad.

And if this is against the rules feel free to delete it.

Hello everyone! This is my first campfire here but I've been lurking for a few weeks. I've loved the fanfic recommendations, discussions and of course the pictures that are posted. 

I decided to branch out and post tonight because I could use a good fanfic recommendation. I have discovered a recent love for reading fanfics where Edward is a dad. However, lately I keep stumbling upon ones where Edward doesn't know he's a dad at first, because it's been kept a secret from him (normally for no good reason other then Bella is ridiculously insecure/stupid). And somehow in the stories, this is always justified and easily forgiven. 

Anyway, I want it to make Edward angrier (somehow he always seems ok with it).  So, does anyone have any recommendations where this storyline happens and Edward is justifiably irate about it? If so, I'd like to read it. Nothing like angry dad Edward for me, apparently. Thanks. :)

I've been obsessed ALL DAY LONG trying to figure out the title of a story and it's driving me insane!  lol

All I really remember was that Esme owns a restaurant (French, I believe) and Edward takes Bella there to 'woo' her on their first date (I think I remember she loves French food) and they eat in the kitchen with the fantastic chef. I remember that Bella makes Edward eat snails.  :)  I think Kate is the bartender at the restaurant.  I also seem to remember them (B & E) getting busy at the restaurant at some point.

That's seriously all I remember, except that I really liked the story.  HELP!  Please?

You know what I like.

Let's put our ipods/playlists/zune/radio/whatever on shuffle and post random songs, then we'll come up with a fic that relates to said song.

I'm having a prom dress nightmare-story. And, while it's still FFA,  in honor of the horror - I'd like to do two things.

This all started on twitter.  I TJ'd a message that PixieVamp sent, congratulating her on her hubby's R&R this summer.   At the same time, mine will be preparing to deploy for the 4th time in his 6 years in the Army.  She suggested a support group and since I believe it's still FFA time (correct me if I'm wrong, I'm in Germany after all), I thought it could possibly be opened up to everyone else that is a military spouse. 

What do you all think?    I honestly think it's a great idea and might help making things a little bit easier during the tough times.

Edit:  This is for any and everyone that has someone that's deployed, whether you're a spouse, fiance, girlfriend (or boyfriend even!), sibling, relation, whatever.  And doesn't have to be military either, as there are others that are deployed that are civilians as well (sorry...I let my FRG  leader part of me go running ahead of this all gung-ho.)

Have you ever done anything/said anything/participated in anything considered to be controversial? Was there any fallout? Was it worth it? Who did it bother? Do you still feel the same way, now that it’s over? I’ll put mine in comments just to start things off.
