I don't know if you're like me, but everyday I manage to read at least 4 random articles on Wikipedia. More often than not, I'll be reading an article and referencing another in order to make sure I fully understand the topic--but regardless, the topics are always really random.
Show me what you're reading/have read recently, and tell me what you've learned!
Example: I currently have open the following articles:
Lilith - Adam's first wife, as in Eve was the second woman created. She left Eden after Adam refused to treat her as an equal. She's the first feminist!
Samael - Married Lilith...and also slept with several angels who symbolize prostitution (and you thought prostitutes didn't have angels!) He is often considered a fallen angel and conveys a sense of God's severity.
Uther Pendragon - Father of King Arthur--slept with the wife of his enemy, Gorlois, and impregnated her as Gorlois was killed by Uther's soldiers.
Sub-Roman Britain - An archeological period in Britain during the 5th and 6th century. Predates Anglo-Saxon period.
Crohn's Disease - An inflammatory disease of the gastro-intestinal tract that has no cure, merely treatment for the associated symptoms.
Mike Mizanin - Hot ass man who was on Real World-New York. His alter ego, The Miz, is a professional wrestler. While I don't give a shit about wrestling, the profession promotes a lot of shirtlessness--ie allows me to oggle his sexy arms, shoulder, back, and chest. RAWR.
Badgley Mischka - Designers whose fashions have been described as "red carpet ready." They've made an appearance on Project Runway on the garden-wear episode on Season 2.
Tasha Yar - Hideous bitch Lieutenant stationed on the USS Enterprise on Star Trek: The Next Generation. Luckily for the series and viewing audience Lieutenant Yar was killed in the line of duty before the end of the first season in the episode, "Skin of Evil."
This post has been brought to you by the letter "W," as in wolvesnvamps.
And yay for my first campfire.
