I always love looking through the makeup campfires!  Without fail, I will find something new and exciting that I want to try.  But more often than not, I get excited about something that is name brand and therefore expensive.  Now I don't mind forking over money for a good product (especially if it's a skin product, like moisturizer), but I also have several over-the-counter products that I couldn't live without. 

Brattyvamp turned me on to this mascara and I honestly don't know how I got along without it for so long!

My other OMG-I-can't-live-without-this product is this lipgloss.  It stays on alllllll day and doesn't dry my lips out (and I am a confessed Chapstick addict!).  I probably have most of the colors in this picture because I don't wear regular lipstick anymore and my favorite color is Royal Raisin.  I put it on in the morning and I'm set for the day!

Speaking of Chapstick, if you are addicted to it like I used to be this nighttime stuff is ah-maze-ing!

Now I know we have some OPI polish addicts in here *cough*wtvoc*cough but I like Sally Hansen's Qwik Dry better than it's OPI equivalent.

It's been a long time since I've read an AH fic. I've become so disenchanted with the genre that I mentally breeze right over the stories when I see them recc'd here in the forest. But I'm wondering if I'm throwing the baby out with the bathwater, so...

Could you rec me an AH fic that is an actual piece of Twilight fanfiction and not some original fic where the two main characters are cleverly named Bella and Edward? I would like an Edward who's "Edward" and not "Assward," "Slutward," or "Thugward." And I would like for the female protagonist to be Bella and not a pale brunette who's a sassy cheerleader or a depressed drug addict.

Hey Campers.  I just found out my ex-boyfriend, the only man I've ever been in love with, is marrying my ex-best friend.  They're both my exes because they had a relationship going on behind my back for months before someone else inadvertantly spilled the beans to me.  While I was at work.  That sucked.

It's been a few years, so I thought I was over this, but when I found out via Facebook that they were marrying, it was like a punch in the gut.  I'm not in love with him anymore, and I don't need a friend like her whom would do such a thing....so why the pain? 

Anyway, I was hoping we could share tales of love found, love lost, love not wanted, betrayal, or happy endings?  Any relationship, with a partner or friend, that challenged you and caused you to grow or made you happy and renewed your faith in love.  Because I could use a little solidarity.  And tales of strong Campers lives are the most inspiring tales I know.

Although pics of wet hotties are pretty inspring too.

Hi everyone.  As I think most of you know I'm currently working on my second anthology for Circlet Press.  I am in desperate need of cover art for it so I am turning to you.  It is my hope that maybe one of you talented people might be interested in helping me out.  Or if you know of places I can look for artwork besides Deviantart (I already looked there) that would be great.

My anthology is called Like Myth Made Flesh and it's an erotic collection centered around mythical beings.  There's an Aztec god, a male angel, an Egyptian god, a male nymph, and a snake goddess.  Here's my last book cover so you can get an idea of the style that I like:

Here's a little bit of info from our art guidelines:

Our covers always show a human figure in some representation, whether just their eyes, a limb, or the entire body. No frontal nudity is allowed at all for obvious reasons. What we are looking for is art that conveys sensual emotion and which fits the theme of whatever book we are looking to match it with.

Art needs to look good when small (100×150 pixels, 72 dpi) and also large (510 x 760 pixels, 72 dpi). For this reason, bold simple images tend to work better than scenes with a lot of detail in them.

Surrealistic, collage-style, Dave McKean-esque, a lot of our covers have been described that way–we have a tendency to like that kind of art. Sandy Viktor Nys is one of our top cover artists for that reason.

While I'm at it I might as well hit you up for stories too.  I'd love to have two more stories for my collection.  They must be erotic and contain a mythical being of some sort.  Please NO reworked fanfictions.  I want original material and this is a paying gig.  If interested let me know.

I perosnally do read Real Person Fic, and was wondering if any of ya'll do. I mostly read Rob or Jackson Rathbone RP fic on Twilighted. Outside of Twilighted threads for specific fics, I never see it discussed or metioned really. Which is sad, since some of the best fics I've read are RP fics. I know there are some fans who refuse to read it because they say it's disrespectful or wrong to write about a real person. I just see it as all of our fantasies put into words on a screen, but hey! Just curious as to how everyone else feels :0) And I'm hoping this isn't off topic, right, assuming it's about fic and Rob? Just making sure I have the rules straight !!

Do you listen to podcast? Do you have a podcast?

I personally don’t really listen to podcasts. I have maybe listened to a few twilight fanfiction podcasts specifically when I stumbled across them and they said they were interviewing specific authors. A friend of mine (who yay I made through this fandom) loves podcast so she decided she wanted to do one and I said I help. Her goal was to make it a short and sweet straight recommendation podcast, not an hour long analytical play by play, and nothing full of spoilers. Her idea kinda reminded me of the master list post on ADF, just to the point recs.
