I "unstickyed" the post about my birthday. Thank you all for your pictures, gifs, comments and best wishes. I have been buried at work for the last month and much to my dismay haven't been around ADF as much I want to be but I am still here in glimpses.  This project will end soon and I will be back full-force. I want to thank all the wonderful campers for remembering me and reaching out and being supportive. I can't describe how much it means to me.

As for my fellow Rangers, I am speechless with gratitude and admiration. Thank you for your passion, your ideas, your humor and your endless dedication.

I'm not new to ADF, but I've never started a Campfire before so I guess I'm popping my own cherry now!

I fic dive A LOT---literally, there isn't much of anything I won't read or at the very least, try. I don't always find things I love, but more often the not I stumble on an amazing story that just doesn't get the exposure it should!

So I'm curious what everyone considers their Under-Reviewed Favorites? I noticed my list of things to read is dwindling and I have a hella long car ride to look forward to this weekend so I need more rec's!

I'll start off. My Top 4 Favorite Under Reviewed Fics right now are:

I found this one in the ADF sneek peak and CAN NOT put it down. I looked at the reviews and my eyes bugger out, for it being so awesome, the number is WAY too low! This story is AMAZING!

3. A Room With A View by ShortHappyLife: Endless scripts to read, a tyrant boss to tolerate, and a rather lackluster personal life. It was a good thing Bella Swan's office provided the perfect view of the building's hotshot lawyer. Now if only they'd share more than a glance each day. E/B

i'm off work for a week.  which i should enjoy, except i just feel guilty sitting in front of the comuter getting caught up in fics when i should be doing housework or something equally boring.  anywhoo, i was checking out some of my favoite authors trying to find something new when i decided to re-read LaVie Pastiche's outtake "Nobody Sleeps When I'm Awake" (which is a lovely bit of smut if you're interested). 

To make a short story longer, it's an outtake of her story "Three If By Fire" which i haven't read and can't find on her profile.  Anybody have a copy of it any information as to where it went?

Well, what RANGER JENNYFLY really asked for was Bullseye, Quick Draw, or Bang Bang fics.

"Yanno," she posted in the Master Fic List campfire, "where the deadly weapons are guns rather than sharp teeth."

(Of course that's a direct quote! I don't use those "marks" lightly!)

Taking my clue from the "Quick Draw" term our Ranger used, I also felt like this was a good place for WESTWARD! Because, of course, it is highly likely that we'll find a gun-toting Edward in The Old West or a reasonable facsimile thereof.

So! Share with us your favorite Westward fics OR favorite fics wherein the weapon of choice is a gun. Dangerous!

Hi everyone!

I am freaking out here because I have my first job interview in a million years tomorrow!

I had a teeny tiny interview when I left school and started my first job, worked there for 6 years then left to go work for the hubby, which I have been doing for the last 3 years. Now I am bored and going off to try something else, and to make it worse this interview is at a super huge corporate company and I am terrified!

I need advice people! I am ok with all the common sense stuff for the interview, dress smart, be polite, etc.

Can anyone offer up 'typical' interview questions to prepare me? Any advice on definitely what cliched things to avoid saying and what are good answers? Any advice on keeping calm? I need help with that?!

The position is for an Executive Assistant to the IT Outsourcing Department!?!?

If you can't offer advice I will take gifts of pretty pictures to distract me from my panic for a while!

Random, I know, but I was watching Rick Steve's Europe, featuring Slovenia and I had a moment of word-association of a story that included the city. I've got fragments of it in my head and it's driving me insane. I think it was a break-up fic. I remember that Edward had caused some emotional distress in Bella that caused her to flee to this city. I don't know it was for an actual misdeed or misunderstanding. I think it had something to do with Tanya?! I know that he chased Bella across Europe and finally caught to up to her somewhere.... and I think she was pregnant?? Maybe they were married? I'm pretty sure it was never finished and the reunion scene was one of, if not the last chapter updated. I've racked my brain for a long time now so for the good of my sanity, please help? Thanks. (And oh, first post, yay!)

ETA: Ok, I went to bed last night, thought about it some more and I remembered some deets that would maybe help ping someone's memory (cuz it sure as hale ain't pinging mine). It was fairly popular I'm sure so I hope it'll ring a few bells. Here goes...

Edward and Bella are both insanely wealthy; Edward's a playboy and Bella is a top exec in some company. Edward's grandfather (?) died leaving him a trust fund should he get married and BFF Bella comes to the rescue. There was this scene where Bella kicked Emmett and Jasper's asses in GTA and/or Burnout and through some light PDA with Edward, conned everyone into thinking they were in love for real. I think they also grew up together. As fandom cliche's go, real feelings develop and though I think it went on undeclared on both parts. The misunderstanding happens, something to do with Tanya, just as Bella was about to tell Edward that she's pregnant. Cue the escape to Europe, sending Edward on a wild goose chase in order to grovel for forgiveness. Please, please, please let someone name this fic?! My OCD tendencies won't let this one go!

So, I was watching 10 Simple Rules and Bridgett wanted to learn to play an instrument so she comes back with a set of drums (they were the only thing they had in pink). That got me thinking of how much I always wanted to learn the drums and the violin. Well, the next day a coworker started telling my about the piano class she is taking there on campus.

I didn’t know the college I work at has night classes for many instruments, including the ones I want. So I am taking this as a huge sign that it is time to learn, but I am nervous I’m 28 isn’t that too old to start?

It was like The Office but way different. Bella was Edward's executive assistant but they had never really flirted but they have a really good and friendly relationship and respect each other. One day after work when they were leaving the building and he felt her up in the elevator. She didn't say anything and went home. He apartment building happens to be across from the Masen Corporation building and her apartment is level with Edward's office and she gives him a peep show nightly while he sits in the dark smoking and giving her signals with the cherry end of the cigarette.

The start a relationship afterhours and come out to Masen Sr. real soon and Bella is simply transferred to the CFO Emmett as his assistant so they can continue dating.

Any ideas? I can't remember the title at all and those are the only parts I do remember clearly.

There are times when action, adventure and romance can be vastly overstimulating.

There are readers who sometimes want to just...enjoy life as a Canon Cullen.

There are fics out there that cater to this need.  They are the platonic (non-romantic) fics that show interactions between the family members.  Daddy Edward and his daughter, Renesmee, telling stories.  Jasper and Alice having a sweet moment.  Really, any of them can interact with one another.

I know I've seen fics like this out there...have you?  If so, please share them here!
