Around the time that the Hunger Games came out (a week before, or something, I believe) I saw someone tweet something about some Hunger Games review (I'm not sure exactly what it was, as I never seem to get to things in a timely fashion) and clicked it. The tab sat open on my browser for weeks before I decided to read it.

BEST. SUMMARY. EVAR.

OMG. I shared it with WckdQueen and JuniperJulip on twitter and we laughed, giggled, quoted parts and were probably generally annoying to anyone unaware of what was going on. So, it was decided that it must be shared.  It's just too good to keep to oneself.

(mind you, there is some language, so if you're offended, don't get offended on me. I DIDN'T WRITE IT AND I CURSE WORSE THAN A SAILOR AND A TRUCKER AND AN INFANTRYMAN COMBINED)

It is Masters Week in beautiful Augusta! We are from Augusta, and this is always one of our favorite times of the year. In fact, we used to live just down the road and would walk to the course!

I'm not sure how many here are golf fans are around here, but I'm sure there are a few of us!

I've been pondering and wondering this week about how the Cullens would get into and play a round of golf at the Augusta National. Would they sneak in after hours? (My brother-in-law did this once when he was in high school!) Or pull some wealthy strings to play during the day? (Since the course is only open during the winter months, they could definitely find a cloudy day to blend in!)

This idea started popping around last year when a deer wandered onto the course last year in the middle of the night. I started thinking about what ifs.

           What if they thought it would be fun to combine a night hunt with a quick round of golf! But, oops, there isn't deer like they thought there would be.

            Golf attire can get crazy colorful... what would Alice come up with? I'm thinking color coordinated couples   and lots of argyle!

            Pimento cheese sandwiches are a tournament tradition, although technically not usually served to members. But, I can see a dare where someone has to eat one!

What do you guys think? Or, am I totally out of the loop, and this story is already out there? If it is, please please let me know!!!

Okay, so tomorrow is FreeForAll but I'll be on my way to Chapel Hill to see Alabama Shakes (weep your envious hearts) and won't be able to bring up Jack White's new album. I know I've got some equally rabid fangirls out there so I wanted to share this. To make this interactive give me some music based stories or music that reminds you of a good storyline. Myself, I've always wanted a FF based on The Black Keys song, Sinister Kid. I've actually written the beginning of a beginning chapter myself. I have the ultimate respect for ALL writers, that stuff is hard to do. Below is my rec. TxBirdie is a wonderful writer, has a playlist for her storyline and if you read the previous campfire about big breasted Bellas this one is a mother of two and a body to prove it. Updates are slow but the story is so worth it. And after trying to write myself, I have no problems waiting.

My friend and I do this thing ever since Twilight where we decide if a hot guy is Edward hot or not. Just fun girl stuff..

"Yep. He is an Edward." If I tell her that someone is Edward hot, she knows then that he is off the charts.

SO... Rob aside-which is a perfect Edward to me...

In pretty much every fanfiction I read, Bella has either no boobs or a perfect handfull. At first I thought it was just because Kstew has a real nice ironing board, but then I noticed that a lot of stories really rhapsodize about how perfect Bella's tiny perky tits are, and how gross big jugglies are.

As a large-titted woman, I call discrimination! There is a ton of fic hate toward fake boobies-- which those Denali whores inevitably have. When Jessica Stanley is a minor character, her only defining trait is her melons and her bad personality... is this on purpose? The only time SM mentions Bella's breast size is in an outtake in her website, so that detail is really up to the authors. The only fic I can think of in which Bella has a hell of a rack is UoEM... which was written by a man.

Please rec me a fic in which Bella is just plain unapologetically stacked!*** Or explain to me why big breasted women are so villanized in Twilight fanfiction! Give my your favorite breast euphemisms! Or just post pictures of your knockers!

***(Nothing against chubby Bellas, but weight is not what I am going for here. I think it's interesting that many of the fics in the Curvaceous and Bodacious contest centered around Bellas with weight anxiety rather than the "bombshell" part--most of the "bombshells" were Rosalies.)

What are some sweet treats you love to eat or love to make?

I love to make cookies (homemade of course) and also Oreo Truffles. I am known among friends to make these Oreo Balls. They are sooo good!

What I really want to try to make is Baked S'mores!

So I came across this article on LJ today that has an author stating that adults should read adult books.

Basically no Harry Potter, Twilight, Hunger Games, etc for those of us over 18.

A friend of mine said she hates Rowlings writing style so it would make her happy if they just abolished the YA genre all together.

So what are your thoughts, Forest? Should it be okay to read a YA book, as long as you include other reading in your book diet? Or should we just get rid of YA all together?

I'm not a writer but I'm just wondering about it.

I'm coming across a lot of stuffs like,  'If the writer begs for review, I won't review it'', 'I don't read WIPs. I will wait till it gets completed and then I'll read on my kindle' , 'OMG. Did you see her grammar? I wonder why don't she just use beta?'' 'It's not easy to put a review, okay? I'm using iPad or I read when I'm at my work okay?

Give me a break. I hate it when I read stuffs like these.

We readers owe these writers A LOT I think?

So, my students are knee-deep in the annual English-Language-Arts Fair at school right now, which is the much less popular version of the Science Fair with books and poems instead of stinky chemicals, explosions, and physics.

One of the elements to this is that the students will dress as a character from the book they are presenting.

I am super intrigued by this.

I can picture them dressing as a Cullen:

And then I wondered what I would do if I were participating, and I thought... "Could I come up with a Jane Eyre costume?"
