i also saw a graphic that had something about noticing a lot of lowercase letters in someone's sentence.

so i am clearly going with that, too.

Hi All!  Long-time lurker, first time CF instigator....

I am completely addicted to Buzzfeed.com.  It is a time-sucking rabbit-hole of popular culture, DIY, food-hacks, and (sometimes) cool book stuff, but I have to admit that I love it for its irreverent humor.  I came across this little gem earlier and thought you all might enjoy. 

There are definitely some valid questions, but it's pretty much a chance to make fun of the movies (though, I must admit, #27 really cracked me up) from someone who appears to be new to the material.

FOR INTERACTIVE PURPOSES....what is one thing/actor/element, etc. that you either love or despise about the movies?  I'd have to say that the wigs are just about the worst thing ever...and Billy Burke is the best.  Thoughts?

Hi everyone! Has anyone read any of the Dark Hunter Series? I got a flyer at Comic Con, I had never heard of it, and I gotta tell ya I'm hooked. I know it's older, I believe the first one was written in 2000 or 2002. But there are some characters that rival our beloved Twilight, dare I say. Acheron being one of them. Any way there are twenty some odd books. Ive been having fun hitting up local book shops and library book stores to try and find them all. Also there is going to be a TV series in 2014 based on the books and some movies on another series that spun off of the Dark Hunter series. I'm very excited to see who they pic for the characters. Oh jeez I just looked up at what I wrote, sorry I babbled on.

Diving Deep for Fan Fic Treasures

Each week I will brave the treacherous waters of Fan Fiction for untold treasure. Below are the trinkets I've found this week!

This week I read 11 and found 5.  Some of these need a little tweaking, but nothing that distracts from the story.

High hopes for this spin on the 80’s show “Moonlighting,” which I LOVED. It’s kind of all over the place, but that’s how the show was. All over, then wrapped up with a nice big bow at the end. I hope this goes the same way!

I don't even know what to say about this other than that I am incredibly thankful that the scenes featuring this robotic monstrosity ended up on the cutting room floor and hidden from human eyes.

"Chuckesmee is one of the most grotesque animatronic babies ever to not be seen on film," producer Wyck Godfrey says. He's not kidding. In fact, director Bill Condon said pretty much the same thing in an interview with Entertainment Weekly back in August 2012.

"Chuckesmee was a giant misfire on all fronts,” he told the mag. "Truly, it was one of the most grotesque things I've ever seen. It was a horror show! There was one shot where I call, ‘Cut!’ and suddenly she turns her head and mechanically stares right into the camera. It was incredibly disturbing."

So, I went to a Fic Meet Up this past weekend and all the ladies said to join ADF because everyone is so nice over here.

Hey Everyone! So I've been rewatching the Buffy series recently, I know I loved them and followed them religiously when they first came out, so it's been great fun so far! So I've finished season 3 yesterday and I have to say the whole thing got me thinking about vampires. Evidently I love vamps or else I wouldn't be here but it's funny how they change from one movie or series to another but there still seems to be a certain type.

Some pictures to illustrate my point:

Apart from the fact that they all sorta look the same, they all have the same kind of story going on ie bad bad vamp trying to be a good boy. Especially between Stefan and Angel there are A LOT of similarities in how they act and also their backgrounds.

So for some discussion:

Who is your favourite vampire? Why do love them? Let us talk vampires, the good, the bad, the sexy and the ugly if you'd like ;)

Oh and have you seen the new show Dracula? Someone talked about it here over the weekend and well I'm a sucker Jonathan Rhys Meyers so I watched it, so thanks for reccing that whoever did it ;)
