A Pride and Prejudice engagement.

You know, I'm not one for big showy things concerning my personal life.  I'd have been mortified if my boyfriend asked me to marry him via megatron at a basket ball game, or by skywriting it while at the beach, or in any way that allowed other people to be on-lookers to a private moment.

But this one above?  Yes.  This man deserves ALL THE WIN!

So, Folks, how did your SO pop the question?

To be very honest, I don't remember when or how my husband asked me. Isn't that sad? 

ETA: I think our engagement was an organic thing:  we sort of asked each other.  It was 38 years ago, so I guess I can be forgiven for not remembering, though.  Maybe.

A fluffy novelette about a girl who does something questionably stupid, yet lucks out incredibly by finding her Mr. Right. All human. Utter nonsense. COMPLETE

Fluffy, Lemony Date Night with alternating POVs. Good complete read.

Cute, trendy Bella returns home to escape the heartache of her past. She immediately befriends neighbors Jasper and Edward, bonding with them in the treehouse out back. Bella and Edward discover they have more in common than they ever dreamed of.

Bella is in for a huge surprise when she finds out what Edward is hiding. Follows their struggles into adulthood and ends with one of my all-time favorite epilogues.

Twilight was only the second fandom I was ever an active part of.  The fandom prior to that was while the internet was still in its infancy and Twitter, Facebook et al did not exist.

Outlander is now my 3rd fandom (I can sense Sherlock being #4, woohoo!).  Things have been rolling along pretty well, and then some twit journalist went and said something that insulted a bunch of Outlander fans and THEN IT WAS ON. 

Now there are Outlander stans acting up all over the place (but, more importantly, all over my daggone FB feed) and I. JUST. CAN'T.  

Fandom/Robsten/Icy-50 Shades/insert_your_topic_here  drama forever altered my Twilight experience, and I don't want to repeat that again.  

So tell me - are all fandoms like this?  Do all fandoms have people who are ready to attack at the drop of a hat?  Is it only certain types of fandoms that have these issues?  How does one avoid the drama and keep it from ruining the fun?

Why would anyone be focusing on that stupid Variety article when they could be focusing on the gloriousness that took place this weekend?

I went there but I was completely unable to do anything. In the first page there is a box, but it is just a sample box, not operative. The you press "download" and it gets totally mysterious . It appears that I have to download an exe? How? which one? (I am on Microsoft windows 7) And then what?

Can somebody give me step by step directions? Like to a not very bright child (Albeit children nowadays are more computer savy than grannies)

Hey Ive been lookign for the twilight fanfic called arresting development and cant find it anywhere. Is there a link or something that someone my know of cause i would like to reread the story i found it hilarious and edgey.

I bet I'm not the only one who went crazy and overdid it with the turkey, ham, candy, eggnog, cookies, etc etc from Thanksgiving through New Year's!

Hey forest, sorry to be annoying but I forgot the name of a fic and can't seem to find it. I don't remember if it was a multi chapter fic or just a one shot but I do remember that it took place after New Moon. Bella, in an attempt to get over Edward told her dad that Edward had been sick and his family had been forced to leave forks to seek treatment and that he had died. Edward eventually comes back and is forced to stay out of sight.

Any help would be greatly appreciated
