Am throwing together one of those Sunday evening things - this time a kitchen-sink quiche or two, to make use of what we have leftover from the week and freeze the rest. So far, I've sauteed leeks, zuchinni, garlic, ham, broccoli, spinach...

My question: Would it be a (relative) disaster to include some cherry tomatoes as well? Do they ruin things by adding too much water while baking? (I hate wasting food, and these are on their last vines.)

Any experience or hunches or guesses would be appreciated. Thanks!

I am looking for drama/angst fanfics that are dealing with bullying issues.

Does anyone have any recomendations for me?

Here are four random questions, if you're game.

1) Do you bake?  If yes, please post your favorite recipe.  Pictures are always nice too.

3) What is your favorite guilty pleasure movie - one you're sometimes embarrassed to admit you love [ and you can't count Twilight ;-) ]?  What do you love about it?

In my early to mid teens I was secretly obsessed...OBSESSED...with *NSYNC. I admit it now, but at the time I was that obnoxious, uber-indie girl who would turn her nose up at anything mainstream.  Not entirely proud of it, but we all act like idiots as some point when we're in high school. Anyway, during four hours farting around on the internet today, I found myself at a site I used to frequent: Everybody's Free to Make Fun of *NSYNC. It was basically a site for fans who loved making fun of *NSYNC almost as much as they loved the group. 

The point of all this: What were your obsessions back in the day?  Before Twilight or Hunger Games, before Justin Bieber (cringe) or One Direction, what goups/bands/movies/books did you secretly or not so secretly obsess over while waiting for your dial-up to hurry it's ass and boot up AOL already?!

im hoping someone can help me out.  A while back, I read a great story on fanfic.net.  Mostly canon, but Tanya had the power of mind control and she was using it to take Edward away from Bella.  I didn't bookmark it and now I can't find it again.  Can anyone help?

Sam Heughan has a starring role in a film called Emulsion.  There was apparently a screening in Inverness Scotland last night.  Many new Heughan fans attended.  Some photos inside. 

I am a bad fan.  I know nothing about this movie.  But here's what I know about Sam from looking at the photos inside.

1) He really is tall and big.  In one photo, he looks a little like he's herding baby ducks.

2) He apparently sweats a lot when he's surrounded by women who want to do bad things to him and it does unfortunate things to his hair.

3) I don't really care about #2.

4) He is awesome. 

That is all.  Those are my thoughts.  Yours?

(I swear, I will eventually stop and/or think of some other idea for a CF.  Classes start up 3 nights a week next week, so that will undoubtedly slow me down.  Right?).

I admittedly swooned starting around :34.  GAHHH!

How well is Starz engaging the fans?  They put THE FANS in the promo!  Nice move Starz, don't even bother to be subtle.  At this point, I'll buy Starz Outlander toilet paper if you decide to sell it.

Are you aware of any other productions that have wooed the fans as successfully as Starz is doing with this show?  

For those of you who can't get on the Outlander band wagon (yet ... just wait for it!), here's a wonderful, thought-provoking presentation by Brene Brown.  Worth every second.

My 8 year old son is participating in the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital's annual Math-a-thon. If you are unfamiliar with St. Jude, as the video below explains, it is a pediatric hospital specializing in cancer and other debilitating diseases.  St. Jude treats patients regardless of their ability to pay for their treatment. 

My son, Zane, has decided that if he can raise $500 for the Math-a-thon, he will shave his head in honor of the kids at St. Jude. (So proud of this kid!) He's almost to his goal, but every little bit helps.  If you could spare a couple of bucks to help raise funds for this wonderful organization, Zane and I would greatly appreciate it!
