First photos of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's wedding emerge

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie surprised everyone last week with their secret France wedding on Aug. 23. And now, the first photos of Angelina, Brad and their six children have emerged.

Featured in the upcoming issues of People Magazine and Hello Magazine, Jolie wore an elegant satin gown and a classic veil, which were both customized with drawings of the couple's six children. Luigi Massi, the master tailor at Atelier Versace, sewed the drawings into the garments.

"Luigi is like family to me and I couldn't imagine anyone else making this dress," Jolie told People. "He knows and cares for the children and it was great fun putting it together."

British Dad Shows His Teen Kids How to Change a Toilet Roll

One British dad's sarcastically painstaking attempt at explaining to his teenage children how to replace a toilet roll has gone viral.

Will Reid told Storyful that he initially posted the video on a private family group for a quick laugh.

"I jokingly said to my kids that I would post it wider if they didn't start being more tidy," he says. "They said to go ahead, as I wasn't funny and no one would be interested."

Famous last words. The video, posted to YouTube last Friday, is closing in on 1 million views.

Hello everybody, I am new to this so apologies if I do something wrong. I would like to know is anybody knows something about cjmuelb. She is an author that had serious health problems but was doing better when she disappeared drom the twilight fandom. Her stories (the guard, submit, ROI) are amazing and well written but aparently underappreciated. Is there any other fan of her? Any other stories like hers? I would love to hear your coments

I've decided that I really want to read some Divergent fics but I have no idea where to start and I just can't stomach the thought of diving in and reading fics that sound like my 7 year old wrote them.  So, I'm looking for some recommendations on what to read.  If any of you read Divergent fics, please recommend some to me!

Apple patches 'Find My iPhone' exploit that led to leaked Celebrity Nude Photos

Apple has patched an exploit with its Find My iPhone online service that may have been leveraged by hackers to get access to the recent wave of leaked celebrity photos.

Over the past 12 hours the web has been awash with private (and some very personal) photos belonging to celebrities, with Anonymous 4chan users claiming to have grabbed images from some 100 compromised celebrity iCloud accounts, which allegedly include Jennifer Lawrence, Ariana Grande, Victoria Justice, Kate Upton, Kim Kardashian, Rihanna, Kirsten Dunst and Selena Gomez.

Retired closer Trevor Hoffman inducted into Padres Hall of Fame

Trevor Hoffman was inducted into the Padres Hall of Fame during pre-game ceremonies Saturday afternoon at San Diego Petco Park.

Hoffman, who ranks second on the all-time saves list with 601 saves, 552 of them while wearing a San Diego uniform. He was the major leagues' first player to reach the 500- and 600-save milestones, and was the all-time saves leader from 2006 until 2011.

Outlander & the Gathering Tonight

Back in July after the Nashville Twi Fic Meet Up, a group of us Northeasterners were discussing how jealous we were of the people attending TFMU and the NYC TwiFic Meet Up was born.

We have just 7 weeks until we descend on Manhattan for our mini get together. The main event is on October 18th but we'll be socializing all weekend.

California Lawmakers pass first U.S. Plastic Bag Ban

California lawmakers passed a key hurdle Thursday in imposing the nation’s first statewide ban on single-use plastic bags.

For years, a statewide plastic bag ban has been an elusive goal for lawmakers trying to reduce the buildup of plastic waste in oceans and waterways that costs millions of dollars to cleanup. 
“We live in a throw-away society,” said Assemblyman Bill Quirk, D-Hayward. “What this bill does is to make an effort to do one little thing: Get people to use reusable bags.”

Opposition to the bill has focused on the 10-cent fee, which legislators of both parties have called unfair to consumers.

Childhood Friends Discover They Are Brothers

When Ron Cole, a 71-year-old retired cattle farmer from Canada, accidentally knocked an envelope full of pictures off a shelf at his home nearly one year ago, only one photo fell out. The photograph was of a young Cole standing on a beach in Ottawa with his childhood friend, Duncan Cumming.

Two days after dropping the photo, Cole nearly hung up the phone when a woman from Parent Finders Ottawa, called to tell him that the boy from the photo was his biological brother.

Cole knew from around the age of 12 that he had been adopted but never had any interest, he says, in searching for his birth family. Nearly a decade before he got that phone call, however, he had sent one email to Parent Finders, at the urging of a friend who was a genealogist.
