So I saw the new contest for Mentalward- and it got me thinking. Twilight is a great fandom for mental illness. Our romantic lead is sorta stalkerish, Rosalie suffers PTSD, Alice was committed to a mental asylum, blah blah blah.

What do you think about mental illness in fanfic? Are there disorders that you just can't read about? Eating disorders, for me, are really tricky. Reading about Bella with an eating disorder makes me flash back to conversations in highschool with my most insecure friends, and I sorta would rather stab my eyes out.

Are there stories that you won't read because Edward has a disorder that makes him less than sexy? What if Edward had the eating disorder- would you read about a bulimic Edward?  An Edward with gender identity issues? Tourette's?

On the flipside, are there disorders that are -ahem- sexier to read about? We like obsessive Edwards. We like depressed Edwards (aww baby, you're broken? how about a big cup of Bella to perk you up) We're ok with drug use (doesn't it just complete the Doucheward image?)

AM I THE ONLY ONE WHO IS REALLY NOT INTERESTED, NOT THE TINIEST BIT, NO, IN WATCHING NEW MOON?

I mean, I'll go watch it, just because I wanna get a serious laugh out of it, like I did when Twilight came out. And because I don't want people to tell me about it, so I'll just go, watch it, and whenever someone starts a conversation about it I'll just cut them off. But seriously, I'm not interested in the slightest.

I'm not gonna say THE TWILIGHT MOVIE RUINED IT FOR ME! That'd be a tad bit overreacting, because.. it didn't. Whenever I think of Edward or Bella or whoever, the first thing that comes to my mind certainly isn't anyone in the cast. I don't really like Rob. I hate Kristen, I think Taylor looks like he did one of those 'I GOT RIPPED IN 40 DAYS, NO EXCERCISING OR SHIT! TRY IT!!' thingies, Jackson.. umm.. not. Nikki. Don't even get me started on Nikki.. etcetcetc.

I only saw Twilight twice, and I plan on keeping it that way. I think New Moon will be a one-time thing though. Too much Jacob, so little Edward? NUH-UH.

I am reading Afterlife right now (anyone else reading it?) and I sort of freaked when Edward died. I wasn't expecting it but will keep reading because I am curious about where the author is going with it. So I want to ask, will you read a fic where Edward or a major character dies?

And after getting all those amazing stories, I decided to make a Community for first time readers.

I tried to stay true to my criteria, but it was so damn hard.

Depressed about his recent breakup with Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson has taken to humping pillows.

According to sources, Pattinson checked himself in to a Motel 6 in Valencia, CA on Friday. Since then, other motel guests have been complaining about the loud sobbing that comes from Pattinson’s room at all hours of the night. The only time the crying seems to stop is during one of Pattinson’s vigorous pillow-humping sessions, which happen three-to-four times a day, and last for about five-to-seven minutes each.

During the hump sessions, guests and staff members can clearly hear Pattinson’s bed creaking violently while the star yells out at the top of his lungs, “I am humping a pillow.”

Pattinson reportedly comes out of his room for 10 minutes each day in order to allow the housekeeping staff to replace his soiled pillowcases, and to stock up on Lipton Cup O Soups from the motel vending machine.

Motel workers who have seem the inside of the room say it looks like a war zone, with empty Cup O Soups strewn about and the palpable stench of semen and tears lingering in the air.

It is also reported that the walls of the room are covered in Kristen Stewart’s Twilight posters, with the exception of the space on the ceiling directly above the bed, which is reserved for a poster of Pattinson’s shirtless Twilight co-star, Taylor Lautner.

Friends of Pattinson say the star needs to pull himself together, and suggest that he should find fat girl to use as a “slump buster,” adding that there is no shortage of eager fat girls among his “Twihard” fanbase.

Hey campers!

So, most of you out in the US may not know (or really care), but here in the UK they decided not to bother will a New Moon premiere, rubbish huh?

So instead they are having a 'fan party' with Rob, Kris, Taylor and some of the bands. We have a magazine called Heat over here and they are running a competition to get tickets for this party, now here is the reason for my post:
