I'm so depressed I almost want to cut my wrists. I'm totally and completely Team Edward (not even Taylor Lautner can make me stop hating Jacob), and the way Edward is suffering is killing me. 

On the other hand, I also read things that make me hysterical in public (like Edward Wallbanger. I LOVE YOU CLIVE!) And then people stare at me...Once, I was in the library, reading Wallbanger on my laptop, had my earphones plugged in and guffawed and muttered to myself. Then a librarian came and shushed me. God that was embarrassing.

I had this thought last night........ I wonder what would happen if in New Moon Jake and Bella did fall in love. She didn't do the whole cliff jump thing or if she did Edward never found out. She and Jake have a relationship for a while and she ends up pregnant. Edward comes back for Bella, but finds she's with Jake. (does he wait and watch from the shadows?) What would happen if after all that Jake imprinted on someone else? He'd have no choice but to leave Bella would he? (of course he'd still be involved in their lives because he's Jake and wouldn't abandon Bella and his baby). Edward steps back in.... Imagine the vampire helping to raise the baby who would one day be the next alpha. (hope all this makes sence. As you can probably tell I'm not a writer) :0)

 

So I'm wondering, are there any fics out there in fic land like this?

Hi! I really don't know what to do, so I thought that I would read some fan fiction. The problem is - anyone of my fav hasn't been posted. Then I thought about ADF. Would you give me some propositions, please? I would love to read about some E/B stuff, with vampires and mature Bella. I don't want to read funny stories about nothing. I want to learn something from fic. I prefer complete stories, so if you know some, tell me.

Just last night I was at a club and a guy that looked a little like Kellan (only not so hot) hit on me... I have to say that I totally considered it!

So we have Vampire Diaries and we have the Twilight Saga :)

We are all aware of the Twilight Saga. The book that remained unknown by many people, until they made it into a movie and it became a World Phenomenom. Making the latest craze all things Vampire. From True Blood all the way to Vampire's Assistant. And I know you guys in the States have already got the Vampire Diaries series, but us in the UK don't get it until January. And, through boredom mainly, I have just spent the last hour sifting through YouTube sneak peeks and trailers of Vampire Diaries. Basically what I did when I found out Twilight was going to become a movie :) After watching many, I am noticing just how similar they have made it to Twilight. Seriously.

Now, before you guys start going off on a little rant about how Vampire Diaries is just a complete copy of Twilight and so on, I want you to hear me out. Yes, it is a Human and a Vampire love story. But thats not exactly original now is it. Yes, in both, Vampires drink animal blood to keep them away from Human blood. Yes, in both the Vampires try to blend in at an average High School. Yes, in both books it is a small town. Yes, in both books thier is another love intrest that appears. And so on... Now, many a times I have heard people saying and complaining about how LJ Smith copied off Stephanie Meyer. Can I just remind you of something?

Vampire Diaries was written before the Twilight Saga!

So, what are your views on this. I read Vampire Diaries before I read Twilight, and I am a big fan of LJ Smith's work. And it seriously maddens me that her work is only noticed through Stephanie Meyer's work. We all know of the rumours about her stealing the idea for Twilight off her college roommate, but has anyone ever thought about the fact that she may have took way too many ideas from Vampire Diaries. It was written before Twilight.
