Makes me want to check it out...and it's definitely not my usual fare. I like a movie that makes me think, but when the violence is too abhorrent, I can't do anything but cover  my eyes and cringe. Anyone seen a preview yet? Is the commentary worth the viewing?

Indie romance novelist Sylvain Reynard has inked a “substantial seven-figure deal” with Penguin Group’s Berkley imprint for Gabriel’s Inferno and Gabriel’s Rapture.

The book began as Twilight fan fiction, telling the story of “a sinful exploration of sex, love, and redemption” between a Dante scholar and his graduate student. Reynard had published with Omnific Publishing, a publisher “nurturing talented amateur writers into professional published authors.”

Knight Agency president Deidre Knight and co-agent Melissa Jeglinski represented Omnific Publishing in the deal with senior editor Cindy Hwang. Berkley will print 500,000 trade paperback copies of each book.

Omnific Publishing president Elizabeth Harper had this comment in the release: “These books transcend the stereotypical romance and take readers on a deep and moving journey that will stay with them forever … We believe that romance readers, who are primarily women, are intelligent, creative, sensitive, and complex, and books like these honor these qualities in those readers.”

Just thought I would share as some people might be interested. I find it pretty weird that TWO twilight fanfictions have been picked up by major publishing houses.

Okay, so CHEATERGATE 2012 totally threw off the whole Rangers-Will-Play-Photojournal-For-A-Week-Leading-Up-To-The-Contest.

Be that as it may, the ADF Phtotojournal Contest is ON!

It starts tomorrow, August 1, 2012. It runs through Labor Day, which is September 3, for all you non-Americans out there.

In the wake of girlfriend Kristen Stewart's cheating scandal, Robert Pattinson has decided he's not ready to face the press.

According to Entertainment Tonight, Pattinson, 26, has canceled an upcoming press appearance in the U.S. for his new film Cosmopolis. The film is set to premiere soon in NYC, but it is unknown if Pattinson will be in attendance.

The actor's Twilight costar and longtime love Stewart, 22, was caught cheating with her Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders, 41, on July 17. As exclusive photos in Us Weekly revealed last week, the actress and Sanders, who has two young children with British Vogue model Liberty Ross, had a marathon makeout session in Los Angeles.

Reports Tuesday claimed Pattinson has been easing his pain after the scandal by partying with friends in his hometown of London. But sources told Us, the story wasn't true. Instead, Pattinson has been hiding out since the news broke late Tuesday and sources close to the actor tell Us he is "really depressed."

"Rob is beyond devastated," a source explained. "He's so heartbroken. He's shocked she could hurt him and humiliate him this way."

Stewart publicly acknowledge her love for Pattinson in an apology statement on July 25. "I'm deeply sorry for the hurt and embarrassment I've caused to those close to me and everyone this has affected," the actress said. "This momentary indiscretion has jeopardized the most important thing in my life, the person I love and respect the most, Rob. I love him, I love him, I'm so sorry."

While Pattinson continues to stay out of the spotlight, Sanders stepped out Monday to face the paparazzi. The English director wore his wedding ring and a somber look on his face while out and about in Los Angeles. Sanders also made a public apology to his wife in a statement to Us last week. "I am utterly distraught about the pain I have caused my family," he said. "My beautiful wife and heavenly children are all I have in this world. I love them with all my heart. I am praying that we can get through this together."

This is my first campfire (interestingly, I have seen that a lot recently) and all of the drama has finally lured me out of my lurking.  : )

Something I have found interesting over the past few days is that it seems most are shocked, hurt/pissed, and everyone seems to have an opinion.  I know, I know, it doesn't matter what we think, it is up to Rob and Kristen...but this is a place where we all have a common interest and we discuss them.  I read this article below and found it very interesting and surprisingly, well written.

I also found it very intersting that a campfire was posted about our own personal mistakes and even though I didn't comment, because, well frankly, my mistakes/regrets were even too shameful to post...it gave me a new perspective on things.  Those shameful mistakes that I made were not done for the world to see, thankfully.  I didn't have to gain forgiveness from "fans" and I certainly didn't have to explain my actions and poor decisions to millions of people.  I guess Kristen doesn't HAVE to either, but she definitely will be facing some BIG questions as soon as BD2 promos begin.  I know she messed up big time y'all, I get it, seriously.  However, when reflecting on the mistakes I've made, and just thinking that only one of them could have been for the world to see...I felt a brand new wave of sympathy for her.

I'm very verbose, so my question for this campfire is this:

I guess I am a hopeless romantic and really thought these two would "make it."  Who knows if Rob will be able to forgive Kristen and obviously that is his decision...but IF Rob does forgive her and they do try to make this relationship work, will you forgive (really will you ever be able to respect her again) too?  Will you still feel the same about "Robsten?"  Why/Why not?

I just love the Olympics.

I used to date a boy who wanted to make it to Bejing in rowing (but he finally chose Med school (yeah, he was smart AND hot)), and my best friend should have made it to London 2012 in gym had she resisted the horrible pression. 

So, every four years, i'm a little nostalgic watching the games, and even more this year since the french team does amazing things in swimming and canoé and judo, and all those médaillés are twenty-something years-old - my very generation.

I'm going in London this week-end, and I need something to fill the waiting time.

Something like an amazing fic about Olympics. 

Somethng like the amazing "Going for the Gold" we all know, except I already know this one by heart.

Please, please, tell me you know of one?

I just noticed a dearth of Spyward fics on the Master Fic list (though it was a rather quick perusal).

Anyone know of a good fic where Edward is CIA or MI6?

I've never really liked slash; it just leaves a bad taste in my mouth. 

Until recently.. 

I decided to be brave and read a Edward/Carlisle fic. (Can't for the life of me remember the name.) 

Wow. Just wow. 

So, do you have any good slash stories you can reccomend? I'm talking delicious smut, with very litle plot! I'm kind of hooked on it now but I can't seem to find any great ones! All help is appreciated!

When news broke that Rupert Sanders had cheated on his wife, Liberty Ross, with his leading lady Kristen Stewart, Liberty stayed relatively quiet as we wondered if her marriage was over. As we’ve just learned, she’s actually giving her cheating husband a second chance. Perhaps this explains why he’s just been seen still wearing his wedding ring?

A source close to Liberty tells HollywoodLife.com exclusively, “Liberty has decided to give Rupert a second chance because of the kids.” Liberty, 33, and Rupert, 41, have two children together: daughter Sykla, 7, and son Tennyson, 5.

But the children aren’t the only reason Liberty is giving Rupert an opportunity for redemption. Our source reveals that Rupert has agreed to go to couple’s counseling. “Liberty has not been happy in the relationship for some time. When they moved to Los Angeles, she felt very isolated and neglected,” our source explained. Just weeks before news of the affair broke, Liberty said the same during an interview with YOU magazine. “I went from the glamour of working with Karl Lagerfeld and John Galliano to living on an isolated hilltop, with my husband gone most of the time,” she said during the interview.

Hopefully counseling will provide Liberty and Rupert the strength to repair their relationship, if that’s they both want.

I am curious what other people think about celebrities hiding their romantic relationships?

Wouldn't the paparazzi hound them more? Hoping to get that $250, 000 picture.

Take Rob and Kristen-- really what was the point in hiding their relationship? If they just would have been photographed earlier on together, still not speaking about it in interviews if they wish, the possible shot of them together would no longer have been a commodity.

I do understand why people keep their personal lives quiet, but at the same time-- as KS found out-- they are always cameras somewhere,   if you don't have anything to hide,  wouldn't that be taking power back from paparazzi? Or would it be giving in to them?

Opinions?

so, i got a lot of free crap from comic-con. sometimes the stuff is pushed on you, sometimes it's jammed into your face, sometimes you gotta ask. whatever. i have a bunch of it, and i'm tired of it sitting here on my kitchen table.

most of it is silly stuff like postcards for the misfits and a backpack promoting the new sherlock series on cbs called elementary, but there are also lots of book samples (which contain several chapters of upcoming books in sci-fi, fantasy, and horror) including the brand new libba bray the diviners and one audiobook CD thing idk.

most of the kid stuff (and all of the comic books wait, i take that back- just checked, there are comic books) went to my children and neighbors, but i saved a power rangers super samurai red ranger anniversary mask just for you. there's also a BPA-free recycled materials water bottle promoting the new billy burke show revolution and many other fun little thingies to enjoy. maybe all the posters, including a cool cartoon network 20th anniversary one, if i can find a poster tube that'll fit everything.

i'm including in this swag box 3 doctor who t-shirts from teefury because i got them in a grab bag and i don't watch doctor who, so yeah. if you're a nerd and you want a piece of comic-con without actually having gone, then this is the contest for you!

Following a new report in British newspaper The People that director Rupert Sanders's affair with Kristen Stewart was not simply a one-time fling, a source very close to his wife Liberty Ross and her family tells PEOPLE that all quotes from that story are false.

"Contrary to inaccurate reports, neither Liberty Ross nor any member of her family has spoken to the media," the source tells PEOPLE. "Quotes that are being attributed to the Ross family have been completely fabricated."

The People report quotes a man purporting to be Liberty's brother, Leopold Ross, who says, "[Rupert and Kristen's affair] was from the last half of filming and all through post-production, clear into last week."

Editors at The People did not immediately respond to request for comment and clarification, and sources have maintained to PEOPLE that Kristen and Rupert's fling was not drawn out.

Regardless, "Rob just isn't going to be able to get past the cheating – one time or not," a source close to the couple tells PEOPLE. "It's something she always knew he could never tolerate."

Since news of their infidelity broke, Stewart, 22, and Sanders, 41, both issued public apologies, and sources reported the duo had only been intimate once. Meanwhile in Los Angeles, Robert Pattinson, 26, and Stewart are not speaking to each other and have both left the home they once shared, PEOPLE has confirmed.

the more I read about this, the more I feel Rob just isnt going to take her back. He doesnt seem like the kind of guy to tolerate cheating. I dont see him getting over the betrayal or public embarassment. 

Poor Rob :(
